    I'm sure there's not just 1 answer to this but, do game engines actually change the vectors in memory, or use gltransformations? Because pushing and popping the matrix all the time seems inefficient, but if you keep modifying the verticies you cant make use of display lists. So I'm wondering how it's done in general. Thanks

  • How to control the width of radgrid

    I have a RadGrid but it is spanning the width across the page, how can I control it and set a width and mae contents in the cells wrap if they need to?. I cant find anything that is helping me. I tried MasterTableView-TableLayout="fix" but then anything in the cells gets cut off.     In python, is there a way to exit a class after testing a condition, without exiting out of python? say i have the class class test(): def __init__(self): self.a = 2 def create_b(self): self.b = 3 def does_b_exist(self): if <self.b doesnt exist>: #terminate self.b += 1 try/except` doesnt work since the rest of the program doesnt terminate after failing. im basically trying to catch an error, and do what python does when it shows you errors, but i cant figure out how to do it

    This is a statement referring to problem caused by page fault:(from Silberschatz 7th ed P-310 last para) 'We cant simply restart instructions when instruction modifies several different location Ex:when a instruction moves 256 bytes from source to dest and either src or dest straddles on page boundary , then,after a partial move, if a page fault occurs, 'we can't simply restart the instructions' My question is Why not? Simply restart the instruction again do the same copy after page is in. Is there any problem in it?

    I have seen this but can't work out how to apply it (no pun intended) to my situation. I have a sorted list of maps like this: (note there can be more than two keys in the map) ({name1 3, name2 7}, {name1 35, name2 7}, {name1 0, name2 3}) What I am after is this data structure afterwards: ({:name1 [3,35,0]}, {:name2 [7,7,3]}) Ive been struggling with this for a while and cant seem to get anywhere near. Caveats: The data must stay sorted and I have N keywords not just two.

    This code: @echo off echo/|set /p ="Executing backup...." echo/|set /p =" backup procedure" ... came from Echoing in the same line and produces the below output in a cmd window: Executing backup....backup procedure However, I cant seem to find an explanation through google on what the forward slash does to the ¿pipe? to cause set's output to be echoed to the console / stdout If anyone could also suggest a good website for learning more about cmd / cmd programs' features like this, it would be appreciated.

    The following procedure gives me an error when I invoke it using the CALL statement: CREATE DEFINER=`user`@`localhost` PROCEDURE `emp_performance`(id VARCHAR(10)) BEGIN DROP TABLE IF EXISTS performance; CREATE TABLE performance AS SELECT time_in, time_out, day FROM attendance WHERE employee_id = id; END The error says "Unknown table 'performance' ". This is my first time actually using stored procedures and I got my sources from Google. I just cant figure out what I am doing wrong.
