  • Android Multiple objects in SimpleAdapter

    - by Adam Sherratt
    I have a need (unless you can think of a better way) of passing multiple objects to a custom list adapter. I know that I'm barking up the wrong tree here, and would appreciate someone setting me on the right course! Thanks playlistadapter = new MyPlaylistAdapter(MyApplication.getAppContext(), songsList, retained_songsList, folderMode, R.layout.file_view, new String[] { "songTitle","songAlbum", "songPath" }, new int[] { R.id.checkTextView, R.id.text2, R.id.text3 }); And my adapter class: public class MyPlaylistAdapter extends SimpleAdapter{ private ArrayList <Song> songsList = new ArrayList<Song>(); private ArrayList <Song> retained_songsList = new ArrayList<Song>(); private ArrayList<Song> playlistcheck = new ArrayList<Song>(); private String folderMode; private String TAG = "AndroidMediaCenter"; public MyPlaylistAdapter(Context context,List<Song> SongsList, List<Song> Retained_songsList, String FolderMode,int resource, String[] from, int[] to) { super(context, null, resource, from, to); songsList.clear(); songsList.addAll(SongsList); Log.i(TAG, "MyPlayListAdapter Songslist = " + songsList.size()); retained_songsList.clear(); retained_songsList.addAll(Retained_songsList); folderMode = FolderMode; } public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) { //PlayListViewHolder holder; CheckedTextView checkTextView; TextView text2; TextView text3; if (convertView == null) { LayoutInflater inflater = (LayoutInflater) MyApplication.getAppContext().getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); //LayoutInflater inflater=getLayoutInflater(); convertView=inflater.inflate(R.layout.file_view, parent, false); //convertView.setBackgroundColor(0xFF00FF00 ); //holder = new PlayListViewHolder(); checkTextView = (CheckedTextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.checkTextView); text2 = (TextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.text2); text3 = (TextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.text3); //convertView.setTag(holder); } else { //holder = (PlayListViewHolder) convertView.getTag(); } //put something into textviews String tracks = null; String tracks_Details = null; String trackspath = null; tracks = songsList.get(position).getSongTitle(); tracks_Details = songsList.get(position).getAlbum() + " (" + songsList.get(position).getArtist() + ")"; trackspath = songsList.get(position).getSongPath(); checkTextView = (CheckedTextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.checkTextView); text2 = (TextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.text2); text3 = (TextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.text3); checkTextView.setText(tracks); if(folderMode.equals("Playlists")){ checkTextView.setBackgroundColor(Color.GREEN); checkTextView.setChecked(false); try { int listsize_rs = retained_songsList.size(); for (int j = 0; j<listsize_rs;j++){ if((retained_songsList.get(j).getSongPath()).equals(songsList.get(position).getSongPath())){ checkTextView.setBackgroundColor(Color.TRANSPARENT); //Need to check here whether the checkedtextview is ticked or not checkTextView.setChecked(true); playlistcheck.add(songsList.get(position)); break; } } } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } }else { //Need to check here whether the checkedtextview is ticked or not try { if (songsList.get(position).getSongCheckedStatus()==true){ checkTextView.setChecked(true); }else{ checkTextView.setChecked(false); } } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } text2.setText(tracks_Details); text3.setText(trackspath); Log.i(TAG, "MyPlayListAdapter Songslist = " + songsList.size()); return convertView; } } However, this doesn't inflate, throwing the following errors: 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): FATAL EXCEPTION: main 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): java.lang.RuntimeException: Error receiving broadcast Intent { act=android.intent.action.GetMusicComplete flg=0x10 } in com.Nmidia.AMC.MusicActivity$18@414c5770 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.app.LoadedApk$ReceiverDispatcher$Args.run(LoadedApk.java:765) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.os.Handler.handleCallback(Handler.java:615) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:92) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:137) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:4745) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invokeNative(Native Method) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:511) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(ZygoteInit.java:786) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:553) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at dalvik.system.NativeStart.main(Native Method) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.widget.SimpleAdapter.getCount(SimpleAdapter.java:93) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.widget.ListView.setAdapter(ListView.java:460) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at com.Nmidia.AMC.MusicActivity.setFilterMusic(MusicActivity.java:1230) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at com.Nmidia.AMC.MusicActivity$18.onReceive(MusicActivity.java:996) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): at android.app.LoadedApk$ReceiverDispatcher$Args.run(LoadedApk.java:755) 10-26 23:11:09.464: E/AndroidRuntime(2826): ... 9 more

  • nHibernate Linq Projection

    - by Craig
    I am using the version 1.0 release of Linq for nHibernate. When I run the following linq statements I receive the error not a single-length projection: Surname I can find very few references to this on the web and looking into the source it says it should never occur! ClientID is a Int type and Surname is a string. When I comment out all the string fields in the projection and just leave ClientID it runs ok, but as soon as I add surname back it errors. var context = m_ClientRepository.Linq; var result = (from client in context from address in client.Addresses from contact in client.Contacts where client.Surname.StartsWith(surname) && client.GivenName.StartsWith(givenName) && contact.Value.StartsWith(phoneNumber) group client by new { client.ClientID, client.Surname, client.GivenName } into clientGroup select new ClientSearchDTO() { ClientID = clientGroup.Key.ClientID, Surname = clientGroup.Key.Surname, GivenName = clientGroup.Key.GivenName, Address = clientGroup.Max(x => x.Addresses.FirstOrDefault().Address), PhoneNumber = clientGroup.Max(x => x.Contacts.FirstOrDefault().Value) }) .Skip(Paging.FirstRecord(pageNumber)) .Take(5);

  • Issue when I'm trying to draw gradient in swift

    - by bagusflyer
    I got an error when I was trying to draw gradient in Swift code: GradientView.swift:31:40: Could not find an overload for '__conversion' that accepts the supplied arguments Here is my code: let context : CGContextRef = UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext() let locations :CGFloat[] = [ 0.0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 ] let colors = [UIColor.redColor().CGColor,UIColor.greenColor().CGColor,UIColor.blueColor().CGColor, UIColor.yellowColor().CGColor] let colorspace : CGColorSpaceRef = CGColorSpaceCreateDeviceRGB() let gradient : CGGradientRef = CGGradientCreateWithColors(colorspace, colors, locations) //CGGradientCreateWithColors(colorspace,colors,locations) let startPoint : CGPoint = CGPointMake(0, 0) let endPoint : CGPoint = CGPointMake(500,500) CGContextDrawLinearGradient(context, gradient,startPoint, endPoint, 0); The problem is the CGGradientCreateWithColors takes CFArray not a normal Swift Array. I have no idea how to convert CFArray to Array and can't find anything in Apple's document. Any idea? Thanks

  • How to receive the text which was sent by SendText

    - by thillai-selvan
    In asterisk I have sent a text message using SendText as follows I have two registered users in sip.conf file. sip.conf details [thillai] username=thillai secret=thillai host=dynamic type=friend allow=all context=test [selvan] username=selvan secret=selvan allow=all host=dynamic type=friend context=test Then I have created the necessary extensions like this extensions.conf file: [test] exten = 677,1,BackGround(thankyou) exten = 677,n,Dial(SIP/thillai) exten = 677,n,SendText('this is for testing') So when a caller is trying to call to extension 677 this text information will be sent. My question is how can I receive this text in the caller side? Any help will be much appreciated.

  • Can getAttribute() method of Tomcat ServletContext implementation be called without synchronization?

    - by oo_olo_oo
    I would like to read some parameters during servlet initializtion (in init() method), and store them among servlet context attributes (using getServletContext().setAttribute()). I would like to read these parameters later - during some request processing (using getServletContext().getAttribute()). So, the multiple threads could do this simultaneously. My question is if such an attempt is safe? Could I be sure that multi threaded calls to the getAttribute() don't mess up any internal state of the servlet context? Please take into account that I'm not going to call the setAttribute() anywhere besides the initialization. So, only calls to the getAttribute() are going to be done from multiple threads. But depending on the internal implementation, this also could be dangerous. So, any information about Tomcat's implementation would be appreciated.

  • Linq To Sql Left outer join - filtering null results

    - by Harry
    I'd like to reproduce the following SQL into C# LinqToSql SELECT TOP(10) Keywords.* FROM Keywords LEFT OUTER JOIN IgnoreWords ON Keywords.WordID = IgnoreWords.ID WHERE (DomainID = 16673) AND (IgnoreWords.Name IS NULL) ORDER BY [Score] DESC The following C# Linq gives the right answer. But I can't help think I'm missing something (a better way of doing it?) var query = (from keyword in context.Keywords join ignore in context.IgnoreWords on keyword.WordID equals ignore.ID into ignored from i in ignored.DefaultIfEmpty() where i == null where keyword.DomainID == ID orderby keyword.Score descending select keyword).Take(10); the SQL produced looks something like this: SELECT TOP (10) [t0].[DomainID], [t0].[WordID], [t0].[Score], [t0].[Count] FROM [dbo].[Keywords] AS [t0] LEFT OUTER JOIN (SELECT 1 AS [test], [t1].[ID] FROM [dbo].[IgnoreWords] AS [t1]) AS [t2] ON [t0].[WordID] = [t2].[ID] WHERE ([t0].[DomainID] = 16673) AND ([t2].[test] IS NULL) ORDER BY [t0].[Score] DESC How can I get rid of this redundant inner selection? It's only slightly more expensive but every bit helps!

  • use callback function to report stack backtrace

    Assume I have the following: typedef struct { char *name; char binding; int address; } Fn_Symbol //definition of function symbol static Fn_Symbol *fnSymbols; //array of function symbols in a file statc int total; //number of symbol functions in the array and file static void PrintBacktrace(int sigum, siginfo_t * siginfo, void *context) { printf("\nSignal received %d (%s)\n", signum, strsignal(signum)); const int eip_index = 14; void *eip = (void *)((struct ucontext *)context)->uc_mcontext.gregs[eip_index]; printf("Error at [%p] %s (+0x%x), eip, fnName, offset from start); //????? exit(0); } I have this so far, but what is the best way using the fnSymbols static global pointer to identify the function where the error occured and then back trace through the stack to identify each calling function by address, name, and offset?

  • Temporarily disabled NSArrayController filterPredicate, or consult ManagedObjectContext?

    - by ndg
    I have an NSArrayController which is bound to a class in my Managed Object Context. During runtime the NSArrayController can have a number of different filter predicates applied. At certain intervals, I want to iterate through my NSArrayController's contents regardless of the filter predicate applied to it. To do this, I set the filterPredicate to nil and then reinstate it after having iterated through my array. This seems to work, but I'm wondering if it's best practice? Should I instead be polling my Managed Object Context manually? NSPredicate *predicate = nil; predicate = [myArrayController filterPredicate]; [myArrayController setFilterPredicate:nil]; for(MyManagedObject *object in [myArrayController arrangedObjects]) { // ... } [myArrayController setFilterPredicate:predicate];

  • Error in Using Dynamic Data Entities WebSite in VS2012

    - by amin behzadi
    I decided to use Dynamic Data Entities website in vs2012. So, I created this website,then added App_Code directory and added a new edmx to it and named it myDB.edmx. After that I uncommented the code line in global.asax which registers the entity context : DefaultModel.RegisterContext(typeof(myDBEntities), new ContextConfiguration() { ScaffoldAllTables = true }); But when I run the website this error occurs : The context type 'myDBEntities' is not supported. how can I fix it? p.s: You now there are some differences between using L2S by Dynamic Data L2S website AND using entity framework by Dynamic Data Entities website.

  • How to resize an openGL window created with wglCreateContext?

    - by Nick
    Is it possible to resize an openGL window (or device context) created with wglCreateContext without disabling it? If so how? Right now I have a function which resizes the DC but the only way I could get it to work was to call DisableOpenGL and then re-enable. This causes any textures and other state changes to be lost. I would like to do this without the disable so that I do not have to go through the tedious task of recreating the openGL DC state. HWND hWnd; HDC hDC; void View_setSizeWin32(int width, int height) { // resize the window LPRECT rec = malloc(sizeof(RECT)); GetWindowRect(hWnd, rec); SetWindowPos( hWnd, HWND_TOP, rec->left, rec->top, rec->left+width, rec->left+height, SWP_NOMOVE ); free(rec); // sad panda DisableOpenGL( hWnd, hDC, hRC ); EnableOpenGL( hWnd, &hDC, &hRC ); glMatrixMode(GL_PROJECTION); glLoadIdentity(); glOrtho(-(width/2), width/2, -(height/2), height/2, -1.0, 1.0); // have fun recreating the openGL state.... } void EnableOpenGL(HWND hWnd, HDC * hDC, HGLRC * hRC) { PIXELFORMATDESCRIPTOR pfd; int format; // get the device context (DC) *hDC = GetDC( hWnd ); // set the pixel format for the DC ZeroMemory( &pfd, sizeof( pfd ) ); pfd.nSize = sizeof( pfd ); pfd.nVersion = 1; pfd.dwFlags = PFD_DRAW_TO_WINDOW | PFD_SUPPORT_OPENGL | PFD_DOUBLEBUFFER; pfd.iPixelType = PFD_TYPE_RGBA; pfd.cColorBits = 24; pfd.cDepthBits = 16; pfd.iLayerType = PFD_MAIN_PLANE; format = ChoosePixelFormat( *hDC, &pfd ); SetPixelFormat( *hDC, format, &pfd ); // create and enable the render context (RC) *hRC = wglCreateContext( *hDC ); wglMakeCurrent( *hDC, *hRC ); } void DisableOpenGL(HWND hWnd, HDC hDC, HGLRC hRC) { wglMakeCurrent( NULL, NULL ); wglDeleteContext( hRC ); ReleaseDC( hWnd, hDC ); }

E.g. changing to launchMode singleTop is not appropriated for me and it should work without changing launchMode according to the official docs (see Invoking the search dialog). Nevertheless I also tried to add the following flags to notificationIntent Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP | PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT but the problem remains the same.

  • Extending AdapterView

    - by Ander Webbs
    Hi, i'm trying to make (for learning purposes) my own implementation of a simple AdapterView where items comes from an basic Adapter (ImageAdapter from sdk samples). Actual code is like this: public class MyAdapterView extends AdapterView<ImageAdapter> implements AdapterView.OnItemClickListener{ private ImageAdapter mAdapter; public MyAdapterView(Context context, AttributeSet attrs, int defStyle) { super(context, attrs, defStyle); initThings(); } private void initThings(){ setOnItemClickListener(this); } @Override public ImageAdapter getAdapter() { // TODO Auto-generated method stub return mAdapter; } @Override public void setAdapter(ImageAdapter adapter) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub mAdapter=adapter; requestLayout(); } View obtainView(int position) { View child = mAdapter.getView(position, null, this); return child; } @Override protected void onLayout(boolean changed, int l, int t, int r, int b) { super.onLayout(changed, l, t, r, b); for(int i=0;i<mAdapter.getCount();i++){ View child = obtainView(i); child.layout(10, 70*i, 70, 70); addViewInLayout(child, i, null, true); } this.invalidate(); } @Override public void onItemClick(AdapterView<?> parent, View v, int position, long id) { Log.d("MYEXAMPLES","Clicked an item!"); } } This isn't a coding masterpiece, it just displays a pseudo-listview with pictures. I know i could've used ListView, GridView, Spinner, etc. but i'm relative new to android and i'm trying to figure out some things on it. Well, the question here is: Why is my onItemClick not firing? Using the same ImageAdapter with a GridView, everything works ok, but when i use with above class, i get nothing. Inside AdapterView.java there is code for those click, longclick, etc events... so why can't i just fire them? Maybe i'm misunderstanding basic things on how AdapterView works? Should I extend other base classes instead? And why? Hoping to find more experienced guidance on here, thanks in advance.

  • Ctrl F5 exception and ignored on F5

    I am getting this unhandled exception error shown: See screen shot. I am getting this error only when I run with Ctrl+ F5 and not in F5(debug mode).Not sure if this is helpful,my computer is a windows 7- 64bit and running a 32 bit build According to this discussion: How can I get WinForms to stop silently ignoring unhandled exceptions?, Adding Application.SetUnhandledExceptionMode(UnhandledExceptionMode.ThrowException) iwll cause Windows to ignore the error. EDIT: frmPlant_Load Event public partial class frmPlant : Form { DatabaseConnection _DbConnection = new DatabaseConnection(); string conString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["RVESTConnString"].ConnectionString; SQLQueries _SQlQueries = new SQLQueries(); DataSet ds; SQLiteDataAdapter da; static DataTable gdt; int gSelectedPlant; string gSelectedPlantName = ""; bool ignoreSelChg = false; bool DataDirty = false; public frmPlant() { InitializeComponent(); } public frmPlant(int sSelectedPlant) { InitializeComponent(); } private void frmPlant_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { ds = FillData(); gdt = ds.Tables[0]; bindingSource1.DataSource = gdt; dataGridView1.DataSource = bindingSource1; gSelectedPlant = StaticClass.GlobalValue; dataGridView1.AutoGenerateColumns = true; dataGridView1.Columns["PlantId"].Visible = false; dataGridView1.Columns["NSSS_Design"].Width = 70; } private DataSet FillData() { ignoreSelChg = true; SQLiteConnection con = new SQLiteConnection(conString); DataSet dPlant; try { con.Open(); SQLiteCommand cmd = new SQLiteCommand("select * from Plant", con); da = new SQLiteDataAdapter("select * from Plant", con); dPlant = new DataSet(); da.Fill(dPlant, "plant"); } catch (Exception ex) { throw ex; } finally { con.Close(); } return dPlant; } I should also add another concern: When I say continue here in the dialog, it works fine but leaves a background process running. I have to manually go and kill it in the task manager Question: Suppose I add this line in the Program.cs, will it ignore ANY- even genuine errors which need to be fixed? More Code: This dialog pops up on button click on the second screen- Initial Setup screen . The first being a splash screen. Initial setup takes me to the Plant form Here's the code for the initial setup screen public partial class frmInitialSetUp : Form { public frmInitialSetUp() { InitializeComponent(); } private void btnOK_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { Program.fPlant = new frmPlant(); Program.fPlant.Show(); this.Hide(); } private void frmInitialSetUp_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { Program.LoadAllForms(); } } } Program.cs static public void LoadAllForms() { try { Program.fInitialSetUp = new frmInitialSetUp(); Program.fPlant = new frmPlant(); Program.frm*** = new frm***(); Program.frm*** = new frm***(); Program.frm*** = new frm***(); } catch (Exception ex) { throw ex; } } On button click on the

  • How do you delete a core data entry from the detail view?

    - by Sam
    I am working with an app similar to apple's core data recipes sample code. I want to be able to delete the entry from the detail view, much like apple's contacts app. The code below is deleting the 1st entry and not the selected entry. Not sure what I am doing wrong. NSIndexPath *indexPath = [myTableView indexPathForSelectedRow]; NSManagedObjectContext *context = [fetchedResultsController managedObjectContext]; [context deleteObject:[fetchedResultsController objectAtIndexPath:indexPath]]; [myTableView reloadData];

  • Anyone have a good solution for scraping the HTML source of a page with content (in this case, HTML

    - by phpwns
    Anyone have a good solution for scraping the HTML source of a page with content (in this case, HTML tables) generated with Javascript? An embarrassingly simple, though workable solution using Crowbar: <?php function get_html($url) // $url must be urlencode(d) { $context = stream_context_create(array( 'http' => array('timeout' => 120) // HTTP timeout in seconds )); $html = substr(file_get_contents('http://127.0.0.1:10000/?url=' . $url . '&delay=3000&view=browser', 0, $context), 730, -32); // substr removes HTML from the Crowbar web service, returning only the $url HTML return $html; } ?> The advantage to using Crowbar is that the tables will be rendered (and accessible) thanks to the headless mozilla-based browser. The problem, of course, is being dependent on on an external web service, especially given that SIMILE seems to undergo regular server maintenance. :( A pure php solution would be nice, but any functional (and reliable) alternatives would be great.

  • How do I trigger a closing animation for a WPF ContextMenu?

    - by Ashley Davis
    Does anyone know if it is possible to trigger an animation when a WPF ContextMenu closes? I have code that triggers an animation when the ContextMenu is opened. The animation makes the context menu fade into view. I also want an animation when the ContextMenu is closed that makes it fade out. The code that starts the opened fade-in animation looks something like this: var animation = new DoubleAnimation(); animation.From = 0; animation.To = 1; animation.Duration = TimeSpan.FromSeconds(0.2); animation.Freeze(); menu.BeginAnimation(ContextMenu.OpacityProperty, animation); The fade-in animation also runs on sub-menu items. Note that I also want to run other animations besides fade in and fade out. Eg I want the context menu to scale up from nothing so that it sort of 'bounces' into view.

  • Why does jQuery do this in its constructor function implementation?

    - by mattcodes
    If we look at the latest jQuery source at http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js we see the following: var jQuery = function( selector, context ) { // The jQuery object is actually just the init constructor 'enhanced' return new jQuery.fn.init( selector, context ); } My understanding of the new keyword in Javascript is essentially JavaScript passes the function an empty object {} and the function sets stuff on it via this.blah. Also from my understanding new differs from .call/.apply etc.. in that the return object also has the prototype set to that of the function. So the return value should have a prototype that the same as jQuery.prototype.init.prototype (or jQuery.fn.init.prototype). However from what I see its prototype is set to jQuery.prototype thus all the commands available to work on the set. Why is this? What am I missing in my understanding?

  • ASP.Net Architecture Specific to Shared/Static functions

    - by Maxim Gershkovich
    Hello All, Could someone please advise in the context of a ASP.Net application is a shared/static function common to all users? If for example you have a function Public shared function GetStockByID(StockID as Guid) as Stock Is that function common to all current users of your application? Or is the shared function only specific to the current user and shared in the context of ONLY that current user? So more specifically my question is this, besides database concurrency issues such as table locking do I need to concern myself with threading issues in shared functions in an ASP.Net application? In my head; let’s say my application namespace is MyTestApplicationNamespace. Everytime a new user connects to my site a new instance of the MyTestApplicationNamespace is created and therefore all shared functions are common to that instance and user but NOT common across multiple users. Is this correct?

  • httpOnly Session Cookie + Servlet 3.0 (e.g. Glassfish v3)

    - by chris_l
    By default, Glassfish v3 doesn't set the httpOnly flag on session cookies (when created as usual with request.getSession()). I know, there is a method javax.servlet.SessionCookieConfig.setHttpOnly(), but I'm not sure, if that's the best way to do it, and if yes, where the best place would be to put that line. BTW, of course it can't be done in the servlet itself (e.g. in init()): java.lang.IllegalStateException: PWC1426: Unable to configure httpOnly session tracking cookie property for servlet context /..., because this servlet context has already been initialized Generally, I would prefer to use a configuration option e.g. in web.xml.

  • Spring configuration in GWT Project?

    - by Firstthumb
    I am developing a GWT-Spring-Hibernate project and I want to use Spring Autowired annotation in GWT Service Servlet but my autowired annotated service is not injected. it is null. Is there a configuration detail that I missed? I add <context:annotation-config /> <context:component-scan base-package="com.org" /> to my ApplicationContext.xml and I have annotated my service as @Service("myService") @Autowired MyService myService; // This is null so WHY?

  • How do I override a Spring bean definition yet still reference the overriden bean?

    - by Kevin
    I'm attempting to implement a delegate Service provider by overriding the bean definition for the original service with my delegate Service. However, as the name would imply, the delegate Service needs a reference to the original service to delegate calls to. I'm having trouble figuring out how to override the bean definition while using the original bean def without running into a circular reference issue. For example: <!-- Original service def in spring-context.xml --> <bean id="service" class="com.mycompany.Service"/> <!-- Overridden definition in spring-plugin-context.xml --> <bean id="service" class="com.mycompany.DelegatedService"/> <constructor-arg ref="service"/> </bean> Is this possible?

  • update table with information from IDirectory

    - by sue
    I have a table with 4 columns, LoginID, LastName, FirstName, Email. The data for LoginID was populated from an other table. I have to write a small routine to update this table, by sending in the LoginID and with help of IDirectory routines, get the Lastname, firstname and email. This is what i'm attempting to do, but getting confused with the right syntax. using (TSADRequestEntities context = UnityHelper.Resolve()) { var fpvalues = context.FOCALPOINTs.ToList(); foreach (var item in fpvalues) { IEnumerable<UserInfo> query = UnityHelper.Resolve<IUserDirectory>().Search(item.LoginID); //Here, FocalPoint is the table that has the loginID and the other fields //I need to update. the query shld now hv info on lastname etc..how do I //retrieve that value and update the table? } }
