    For a rich text editor that has to handle pasted HTML code from MS Office applications, I'm looking for a Java library that cleans up the content of all "style" attributes in HTML elements, so that only some CSS attributes are left: background-color border color font-family font-weight font-style list-style-type text-align text-decoration vertical-align For creating a well-formed HTML document, I can use JTidy. For HTML element transformations (removing unwanted elements), I can use http://htmlparser.sourceforge.net/ Is there anything comparable for CSS attributes?

  • Oracle/Toad Active Pane Setting

    On TOAD for oracle, there is a bar at the bottom where your active windows (be it an sql editor, schema browser or SQL modeller window) are displayed. I have just moved office and it now only displays the active window and none of the other windows... any of you toad guru's know how to get it to display all the windows? Toad version 7.5.2

    Which of IDE's I'm more likely to meet in an office? Borland or Visual Studio? I wouldn't ask this question here (I could use google and type which is better) only for a reason that in my previous cariere as an engineer I worked (and most of my friends) all the time on AutoCAD not on Microstation even though Microstation had always been better software (stability, conforming to standards, ease of use etc.).     browser.BrowseObject(PIDLFromPath, NativeMethods.SBSP_ABSOLUTE); It works great in explorer, and for the common dialog. However, when running Office XP, it goes nuts. The view on the screen is refreshed, and shows the contents of the new folder correctly. However, the Combo Box up the top of the dialog still references the original IShellFolder object where the Context menu was initiated. How should I change this IShellFiolder object in the Combo Box?

I have the data objects library downloaded and I have "Microsoft Office 12.0 Access database engine Object Library" selected. I'm running the Windows Vista 32-bit operating system. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    This question is along the same lines as What are some funny loading statements to keep my users amused, I want screenshots of all the coolest "error" pages site's throw up when something's broken. I know pandora.com talks about a panda ravaging it's way through the office, twitter's has the little birds floating around or something, sourceforge had one with some funny robots the other day. I'm sure I saw a blog once that had a bunch of them, but it's kinda hard to google "error pages". Community Wiki, of course :)

  • Does Chrome always adds an XLS extension on a vnd.ms-excel mime type?

    It seems that a simple download of a PHP generated CSV file (with a vnd.ms-excel mime type for the sake of opening it with (Open)Office readly upon the "Save as..." dialog, when present) always gets the unwanted .xls extension when the UA is Google Chrome. The file would then be named as myfile.csv.xls. Firefox behaves correctly. I wonder if it is a bug, a feature or a misunderstanding of some references. Thank you.

    Hi, is it possible to set up an Apache server on a machine which is part of a LAN, then allow machines on the LAN to access the server via a custom ServerName (instead of Localhost).     Why would you use DLLSelfRegister in a VB deployment package? I am trying to sort out possible conflict problems with a calendar control: msacal70.ocx. Apparently there is a conflict with newer Office calendar controls. I noticed the setup.lst for the VB deployment package uses DLLSelfRegister for this control. What are the effects of allowing a DLL to self-register and would removing DLLSelfRegister cause the ocx to register during installation of the package?

    I usually do the following at office - Set the startup program for the project to System32\dllhost.exe, and set the command line arguments for the startup program accordingly. This used to work perfectly fine, because I was running Visual Studio 2008. However, one of my developers use C# Express Edition and they need to do a similar thing.
