  • Two part question about submitting bluetooth-enabled apps for the iPhone

    I have a couple questions about submitting blue-tooth enabled apps on the iPhone. I want to first say that bluetooth is merely an option in the application. The application does not completely rely on bluetooth as there are many modes the user can go in. First, do they require you to have the "peer-peer" key set in UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities even if bluetooth interface options can be disabled or hidden for non-bluetooth enabled devices? Basically, it's just an OPTION in the game and there are many other modes the player can play.. Does Apple not allow you to do that? I'm just curious, because it seems like something they would do. Adding to that, how do you check for it's functionality at runtime? In essence, how do you check UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities at runtime. I'm aware of checking iPhone device types, so would that be a proper way of going about it? I'm also sort of unaware which devices can run bluetooth gamekit, there doesn't seem to be a proper reference at the SDK site, or I'm unable to find it. Thanks for reading! [edit] I can confirm the existance of somebody rejected for submitting a bluetooth enabled app which didn't work on a iPhone 2G.. Of course, they didn't say if that was the MAIN function of the app, though.

I want to run a WebSocket client (Autobahn) and I want to run a loop which shows the filed which are edited in a specific folder (pyinotify or else Watchdog). Both are running forever, Great. Is there a way to run them at once and send a message via the WebSocket connection while I'm running the FileSystemWatcher, like with callbacks, multithreading, multiprocessing or just separate files? factory = WebSocketClientFactory("ws://localhost:8888/ws", debug=False) factory.protocol = self.webSocket connectWS(factory) reactor.run() If we run this, it will have success. I've just started working through C++ Primer Plus and I've hit a little stump. The rest of the code works fine: input is fine, individual yearly output is fine but I just can't get 3 years added together for one final total. I did have the total working at one point but I didn't have the individual totals working. I messed with it and reversed the situation. I've been messing with it for God knows how long. Any idea guys? Sorry if this isn't the place!

    Hi, I have a set of points represented as a 2 row by n column matrix. These points make up a connected boundary or edge. I require a function that traces this contour from a start point P1 and stop at an end point P2. It also needs to be able trace the contour in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. I was wondering if this can be achieved by using some of matlabs functions. I have tried to write my own function but this was riddled with bugs and I have also tried using bwtraceboundary and indexing however this has problematic results as the points within the matrix are not in the order that create the contour. Thank you in advance for any help. Btw, I have included a link to a plot of the set of points. It is half the outline of a hand. The function would ideally trace the contour from ether the red star to the green triangle. Returning the points in order of traversal.

    I have a datatable that will consist of 72 columns. I will download it in the excel sheet using VSTO, which works fine. Now the user will change either one of these rows or all of these rows and will also insert a fresh row. Considering the datatable downloaded first to be dtA, and the one that has been modified in the excel sheet to be dtB. I want to compare dtA and dtB. I need to find out all the rows in dtB that do not exist in dtA. I cant put foreach loop for each and every single row and evaluate as its a very untidy way of coding. What is a better way to do this? Actually I am worried about the extra conversion of to int and then again to byte. So far I have tested and it looks fine. Does the extra cast to int and then to byte make a difference?
