hi i am developing code for gps tracker using gps module ssf1513. i don't know how to configure the gps module to power save mode , please guide me how to enter in input mode.
So given x, and power, n, solve for X^n.
There's the easy way that's O(n)...
I can get it down to O(n/2), by doing
numSquares = n/2;
numOnes = n%2;
return (numSquares * x * x + numOnes * x);
Now there's a log(n) solution, does anyone know how to do it? It can be done recursively.
i know that there are many binary operations to show that something is true
for example we can show if number is power of two or something else is there some theory or special binary method to show if number is prime? thanks
New to Objective-C iPhone/iPod touch/iPad development, but I'm starting to discover lots of power in one-liners of code such as this:
[UIApplication sharedApplication].applicationIconBadgeNumber = 10;
Which will display that distinctive red notification badge on your app iphone with the number 10.
Please share you favorite one-liners in Objective-C for the iPhone/iPod touch/iPad here.
I've been searching for online hosting recently and have noticed a high concentration of hosting providers in Texas.
Just wondering why this is? It couldn't be possibly be because of temperature (I don't think Texas is a particularly cool place to be) or maybe power is cheaper in Texas vs the rest of the States? Or maybe it's just there are laws in place which give hosting providers tax breaks?
Would be very interested to find out.
I'm learning Erlang. I've moved from Haskell so I don't want to and have to learn functional programming.
But Erlang is quite specific because of the microprocesses. So, can you give me some examples which will be simple to test and measure and use all the power of Erlang?
Hi,
I have been working in Java for the last 6 months and have been using Hash Maps
What is the basic idea of a Hash Map ? I am using it as it easy for me to store so much data with direct key references rather than having to iterate through an arraylist ?
Where is the power of Hash Map seen ? What is the scientific idea behind this data structure ?
Hi,
Can you please explain the below lines, with some good examples.
A left arithmetic shift by n is
equivalent to multiplying by 2n
(provided the value does not
overflow),
while
a right arithmetic
shift by n of a two's complement value
is equivalent to dividing by 2n(2 to the power n) and
rounding toward negative infinity. If
the binary number is treated as ones'
complement, then the same right-shift
operation results in division by 2n
and rounding toward zero.
Thankx..
I need to display 2d images in opengl using textures.
The image dimensions are not necessarily powers of 2.
I thought of creating a larger texture and restricting the display to the part I was using but the image data will be shared with openCV so I don't want to copy data a pixel at a time into a larger texture.
EDIT - it turns out that even the simplest Intel on board graphics under Windows supports none-power-of-2 textures.
I work in a Windows Terminal Server enviroment where if you left the computer for a while, windows lock the session and terminal is power off.
What i need is the code needed to send a message to Windows for it to believe the user is in front of the PC (mouse or keyboard activity).
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I have created a tree containing information about server and its VMs.
I want to change the icon of VM to green if the VM is power on or to red if the VM is poweroff.
How to achieve this?
In the context of programming language discussion/comparison, what does the term "power" mean?
Does it have a well defined meaning? Even a poorly defined meaning?
Say if someone says "language X is more powerful than language Y" or asks the same as a question, what do they mean - or what information are they trying to find out?
I'm looking for recommendations for an easy to use reporting/business intelligence tool that can interface with an sql server or access database. It can be web-based or a desktop tool.
Ideally it would be freeware or low cost, and easy to use for users who are not that technically savvy (below the level of someone who can generate reports and complicated queries in Access).
Any tools I've seen so far (such as Crystal Reports) are either too expensive or too complicated to use for non-power users.
I have been trying to make a Cross-platform 2D Online Game, and my maps are made of tiles.
My tileset, which I render the tiles from, is quite huge.
I wanted to know how can I disable hardware rendering, or at least making it more capable.
Hence, I wanted to know what are the basic limits of the video ram, as far as I know, Direct3D has a texture size limits (by that I don't mean the power-of-two texture sizes).
I have been approached to create a website using Sabre Web Services to power the reservations system. All documentation I have seen refers to .NET or Java solutions, I was in doubt whether PHP can be used as access is performed using SOAP. I have found no further information about this, I assume the answer is yes, but wonder why there is not a single reference to this being possible - all solutions seem to be .NET
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Hi,
I've currently got a couple of potential property letting/sales agent web sites to do. I'm looking for a decent script or possibly Joomla extension to power the property search functionality.
Can anyone recommend something they have used?
Im trying to force my phone to go to sleep as soon as i turn my screen off, but whenever i install with adb, packagemanager informs me that it wont grant the permission i need, so my service throws an exception. I was able to install another app called power save mode toggle which has the same permission, and it seems to work, so i should be able to get this to work, right?
How to get cross browser without interrupting line height?
I tried vertical-align:top but it looks ok in FF 3.6 and IE but not in FF 3.0.
How to get consistent in size (size of superlative text) and position of identical in all browsers without interrupting line height.
I'm using to indicate footnote? not to show power

Is there a good way to do this? I'm writing an extension that interacts with a website as a content script and saves data using localstorage. Are there any tools, frameworks, etc. that I can use to test this behavior? I realize there are some generic tools for testing javascript, but are those sufficiently power to test an extension?
Hello Guys
How to start any web cam through programmatically?
my main requirement is it should start webcam? and that should be any application - software not a website.
we can use any language.
So how can start the web cam using programing language?
btw...
[I am not talking about the power of the webcam][Any web cam means any companies web cam]
from ARM DDI 01001, there is a term: process geometry, does it mean the chip size?
Caches and write buffers to improve average system performance are now commonplace in ARM® memory
systems. Core clock rates have increased at a faster rate than memory access times over recent years. This
factor, and smaller process geometries, the economics of on-chip memory, and system power constraints
have encouraged the use of caches to meet growing system demands.
thanks.
Anyone know of a good library to invoke powershell scripts from within Java? I'm currently spawning a seperate process (powershell.exe) and then parse the output, but it would really be nice if I can leverage Powershell's 'power' by getting objects back from a powershell call.
Edit:
Otherwise, anyone else doing such interop? What method do you use?
I know that is the reason some people don't approve of them, but does it really matter? I think that the power that they provide, in interacting with JavaScript and storing and sending information from and to the server, outweighs the validation concern. Am I missing something? What are the ramifications of "invalid" HTML? And wouldn't a custom DTD resolve them anyway?
I currently have a game written using the Android canvas. It is completely 2D, and I draw bitmaps as sprites on the canvas, and it technically works, but I have a few features that I need to add that will require drawing many more bitmaps on the screen, and there will be a lot more movement.
The app needs more power.
What is the best way to go from this method of drawing Bitmaps on a canvas to using OpenGL so I can draw them faster?
