I got it to install fine, but when trying to use wordpress's functions in a CI view the functions are undefined. http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/48347/ I am following this. I put the require('blog/wp-blog-header.php') in my index.php file(ci) on the root. Any idea where I am messing up?

  • Is there something like LINQ for Java?

    Started to learn LINQ with C#. Especially LINQ to Objects and LINQ to XML. I really enjoy the power of LINQ. I learned that there is something called JLINQ a Jscript implementation. Also (as Catbert posted) Scala will have LINQ Do you know if LINQ or something similar will be a part of Java 7?     All, I'm working on a Real-time system, VxWorks I think, I'm saving application settings to a file. What's the best way to handle preserving the settings if the system shuts down or loses power in the middle of a file write? All I can think of is shuffling a few files around or reducing the frequency at which i Save variables in order to reduce incidents.

    A lot of web applications having a 3 tier architecture are doing all the processing in the app server and use the database for persistence just to have database independence. After paying a huge amount for a database, doing all the processing including batch at the app server and not using the power of the database seems to be a waste. I have a difficulty in convincing people that we need to use best of both worlds.

    I've been looking at L.in.oleum and am intrigued by it's mix of higher-level constructs (loops, dynamic variables) with low-level assembler power (registers). Are there other languages like Lino out there, which blend the speed of assembler with productivity enhancing features? EDIT: I realized this kind of sounds like an ad. I'm genuinely interested in other assembler-like languages, Lino is just the only one I happen to know of.

  • What is the most effective way to create BigInteger instance from int value?

    I have a method (in 3rd-party library) with BigInteger parameter: public void setValue (BigInteger value) { ... } I don't need 'all its power', I only need to work with integers. So, how can I pass integers to this method? My solution is to get string value from int value and then create BigInteger from string: int i = 123; setValue (new BigInteger ("" + i)); Are there any other (recommended) ways to do that?

    Hi, I'm pretty useless when it comes to math and I have a problem I need help with. This has nothing to do with schoolwork, it's in fact about alcatel and the ticketextractor. I have two values that needs to be calculated in a c# application according to a formula specified in their documentation: "The global callid is equal to: callid1 multiplied by 2 power 32 plus callid2" As I said I'm not big with maths so that statement says nothing to me. If anyone know how to calculate it i'd appreciate it! Thanks

  • Fixing Floating Point Error

    I have some code that gets the leading value (non-zero) of a Double using normal math instead of String Math... For Example: 0.020 would return 2 3.12 would return 3 1000 should return 1 The code I have at the moment is: LeadingValue := Trunc(ResultValue * Power(10, -(Floor(Log10(ResultValue))))) However when ResultValue is 1000 then LeadingValue ends up as 0. What can I do to fix this problem I'm assuming is being caused by floating point errors? Thanks.

What is the general feeling on JavaFX, will it become a power house, or go down the same path as Java Applets?     I have applied a color theme called Vibrant Ink (or some modification of it), and since I installed Visual Studio 2010 Pro Power Tools all my statement completion boxes are undreadable. What setting changes the colors of these boxes? Preferrably, I'd like to change the background color to something darker, but if that's not possible at least I want to change the text color.

I'm curious about google NaCL as a platform: it seems to combine the best of the web (just a webpage, accessible on any machine) and desktop apps (OpenGL, C/C++ power).   • Trouble reinstalling Gem after failure

    Yesterday I tried to install Jeweler via Rubygems, however somewhere in the middle of the process I had a power failure, resulting in my computer turning off in the middle of the installation process. Once I got it back up, I tried to reinstall Jeweler, however resulting in an error I've had trouble decoding. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this problem? (I tried uninstall, cleanup and check)

I would like to build a computer cluster that can run applications over the cluster that were not specifically designed for computer clusters and still see the performance increase.
