• Any way to create a hidden main window in C#?

  I just want a c# application with a hidden main window that will process and respond to window messages. I can create a form without showing it, and can then call Application.Run() without passing in a form, but how can I hook the created form into the message loop? Such data include database file settings (database.yml) and some other files that have secret API keys. When I deploy to heroku, how can I deal with files that are not under revision control. When I use Capistrano, I can write some hook methods, but I don't know what to do with Heroku.

I know that Ember.debug() calls and alike are being filtered out for production builds, but I couldn't find out where/how that is implemented and if that same mechanism could be used to make my code only fire in production code.

  I'm writing a Wordpress plugin, and based on certain circumstances, I want to redirect to a different page, but the redirect never happens. headers_sent() returns false. I'm using the pre_get_posts hook. Here is a small snippet: function test_redirect() { header("Location: http://www.cnn.com/"); } add_action('pre_get_posts', 'test_redirect'); The redirect never happens, and no errors are reported on the page or in the error log. Why can't I redirect?
