  Hi in my application there is web browser control to show some static html pages. The pages are displayed properly. but images are not displayed.. I tried with changing src-path but no success. my html file is located at bin folder. And i am assigning it as. FileStream source = new FileStream(@"..\HtmlPages\supportHtml.html", FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read); if i open html files in browser, the images are displayed properly.. So, What is the correct path for images..?? If i set full path to src attribute of <img> tag..it works. but i think its not a proper way. :(

Lorem ipsum dolor sit </a> </p> what i want to do is to find all 'a' tags with 'name' attribute and find the 'h3' tag for that anchor; im trying to do it like this: var paragraf = []; var paragrafheading = []; $('a[name]').each(function() { paragraf.push($(this).attr('name')); paragrafheading.push($(this).prev().text()); but it does not work becouse there is a 'p' tag around the text.   Hello, To configure aspx pages' OutputCache from one place, there is a great tool which is the CacheProfile attribute in <%@ OutputCache % associated with a custom cache profile defined in the web.config : <caching> <outputCacheSettings> <outputCacheProfiles> <add name="myProfile" duration="300" /> </outputCacheProfiles> </outputCacheSettings> </caching> And the line : <%@ OutputCache CacheProfile="myProfile" VaryByParam="None" %> does the job. But how to do the same thing for ascx user controls ? CacheProfile isn't in <%@ OutputCache % :S Is there a workaround ? Thanks.

  I'm trying to install flex on my Windows computer. I have MSYS installed. • ASP.Net MVC per area membership

  I am building an ASP.Net MVC app that will run on a shared hosting account to host multiple domains. I started with the default template that includes membership and created an mvc area for each domain. Routing is set up to point to the correct area depending on the domain the request is for. Now I would like to set up membership specific to each mvc area. I tried the obvious first and attempted to override the section of the web.config for each area to change the applicationName attribute of the provider. That doesn't work since the area is not set up as an application root. Is there an easy way to separate the users for each area?

  I'm trying to create a workbook with python and I need to test the values of different cells to fill it but I'm having some troubles. I use xlrd and xlwt to create and edit the excel file. I've made a little example of my problem and I don't understand why it's not working. import xlwt import xlrd wb = xlwt.Workbook() ws = wb.add_sheet('Test') ws.write(0,0,"ah") cell = ws.cell(0,0) # AttributeError: 'Worksheet' object has no attribute 'cell' print cell.value I had taken for granted that xlrd and xlwt have shared classes which can interact with each other but it doesn't seem to be the case. How do I get the cell value of an open Worksheet object?

• can't update rails model

  Hi there, I'm rather new to rails. I have a controller that's attempting to update a model using the following code: @test = Product.find(1) @test.increment!(:price) It does successfully retrieve the Product from the database, but does not update the price attribute. Does anyone know why this might be the case, or how I could get more feedback on what the problem is? Thanks a bunch! Tristan edit: price is an integer with value 0. I get the same problem when I set the price with @test.price=50 and then @test.save .

I'm currently trying this as the value of the onmouseover attribute: this.className=#{(actions.currentlySelectedActionButton == 0)?'actionButton actionButtonChosen':'actionButton'}; whereas the CSS looks like this: (the relevant parts): .actionButton { width: 100%; height: 20px; border: thin solid #000; cursor:default; } .actionButtonChosen { background-color: blue; } It's not working. • .NET Active Directory Password Expiration on Windows 2008

  Searched SO and Everywhere else, including the .net developers guide to directory services programming book - no luck. I am trying to create a simple password reset web page that allows the user to change their password. The change password portion of the code is working fine. For the users I would also like to display when their current password will expire next. Using the sample code from the book mentioned above I was able to get all of the code setup however, the attribute that is returned is always equal to Long.MinValue and hence cannot be inverted to a positive number, plus this means it did not find the proper domain setting. Does anyone have sample code or references for getting the password expiration in a Windows 2008 or R2 domain environment where password policies can be different for each user?

• Text encoding in HTML text fields

  I have a site up that has a form on it. The form POSTs to a php script which then inserts the data into my database. The page has a charset=UTF-8 attribute in the <meta> tag, and the database is setup to use UTF-8. However, when I copy and paste characters from MS Word into the field, the output is messed up. For example, the quotes in I am using "Microsoft Word" '''' become I am using “Microsoft Word†???? in the database. Anyone have any idea why this might occur?

• Pyramid.security: Is getting user info from a database with unauthenticated_userid(request) really secure?

  I'm trying to make an accesible cache of user data using Pyramid doc's "Making A “User Object” Available as a Request Attribute" example. That means that user might not be logged in, so why are you using that ID to get there private info from the database? Shouldn't userid = authenticated_userid(request) be used instead to make sure the user is logged in? What's the advantage of using unauthenticated_userid(request)? Please help me understand what's going on here.

  Hello, I've downloaded the Python PalmDB lib, but can't find any info on how to use it. I just want to read the contents of the pdb file. Is there a guide/tutorial for this library? What would you do to figure out the proper way to make things done in my situation?

• Persist an object that is not marked as serializable

  Hi, I need to persist an object that is not marked with the serializable attribute. The object is from a 3rd party library which I cannot change. I need to store it in a persist place, like for example the file system, so the optimal solution would be to serialize the object to a file, but since it isn't marked as serializable, that is not a straight forward solution. It's a pretty complex object, which also holds a collection of other objects. Do you guys have any input on how to solve this? The code will never run in a production environment, so I'm ok with almost any solution and performance.

• How to provide custom connection string for Logging Application Block instead of using the one in .c

  I'm modifying an existing winforms application to use the Logging Application Block. For historical reasons this app gets its main database connection string from the registry, and I'd like the Logging Application Block to use the same details for logging to the database. How can I do this? The approaches i can think of are: 1) Create a new TraceListener and implement the same sort of functionality as in FormattedDatabaseTraceListener. If I take this approach, should I inherit from CustomTraceListener, and if so how do I pass an attribute of the formatter to use? 2) Create a new ConfigurationSource that provides different details when asked for the database connection. All other requests would be passed through to a FileConfigurationSource, but when asked for the database connection details the object would read the appropriate bits from the registry instead. but it's not obvious which is more appropriate, or how to go about doing it. Any suggestions? I'm using EntLib 3.1. thanks, -Rory

  I can't seem to find a solution for this problem :s I have a many to many relationship like this: A user has_many organizations through affiliations and vice versa. I'm using declarative organizations and I only want a user to edit a particular organization if he is affiliated and the affiliationtype attribute of affiliation is a particular value. So affiliations has 3 columns , user_id, organization_id and affiliationtype_id I can do: o = Organization.find(:first) o.affiliatons[0].user and get the user now I wish to do this: has_permission_on [:organizations], :to => :edit do if_attribute (...) end That if_attribute should see if the current user is the organization.affiliation[?].user and if the organization.affiliation[?].affiliationtype_id = "3" I hope this is syntax issue ...   Hello everybody, I'm trying to resolve/close Dynamics CRM4 cases/incidents through webservices. A single SetStateIncidentRequest is not enough and returns a Server was unable to process request error message. I think it has something to do with active workflows that trigger on case's attribute changes. I don't know if there's anything else preventing the request to work. Since it is possible to close those cases through the GUI, I guess there's a "correct" set of steps to follow in order to achieve it through CrmService; unfortunately, I've been googleing it for a while without finding what I want. Could anybody help me, please?

  Iv wrote an MetaDataProvider like the one below and am using it in conjunction with Editor templates. The DisplayName is working correctly, but for some reason the ShowForEdit value it not having any effect. • Regular expression to replace quotation marks in HTML tags only

  I have the following string: <div id="mydiv">This is a "div" with quotation marks</div> I want to use regular expressions to return the following: <div id='mydiv'>This is a "div" with quotation marks</div> Notice how the id attribute in the div is now surrounded by apostrophes? How can I do this with a regular expression? Edit: I'm not looking for a magic bullet to handle every edge case in every situation. We should all be weary of using regex to parse HTML but, in this particular case and for my particular need, regex IS the solution...I just need a bit of help getting the right expression.
