  im having difficulties with a relativity simple rewrite rules / router in nginx config. All I want to do is, if requested dir or file 'host/my/request/path[/[index.php]]' does not exist, rewrite to 'host/my/request/path.php' Current rewrite works for: host host/ host/my/request/path But wont work for: host/my/request/path/ Here is the rewrite part of the config: location = /(.*)/ { rewrite ^(.*)$ $1 permanent; } location / { try_files $uri/ $uri $uri.php; } Error log will report: Access forbidden by rule, request: "GET /my/request/path/ HTTP/1.0" Hm, is there a better way to solve this or get rid of the trailing slash? edit, rules more elaborative: host[/] > host/index.php host/index[/] > host/index.php host/my/path[/] > if /path/index.php exists: host/my/path/index.php else host/my/path.php

• Tips for Making this Code Testable [migrated]

  So I'm writing an abstraction layer that wraps a telephony RESTful service for sending text messages and making phone calls. I should build this in such a way that the low-level provider, in this case Twilio, can be easily swapped without having to re-code the higher level interactions. I'm using a package that is pre-built for Twilio and so I'm thinking that I need to create a wrapper interface to standardize the interaction between the Twilio service package and my application. Let us pretend that I cannot modify this pre-built package. Here are my questions: First off, do you think this is a good design? How could it be improved? Second, I'm having a hard time testing this because I need to mock out the Twilio package so that I'm not actually depending on Twilio's API for my tests to pass or fail. Do you see any strategy for mocking this out? Thanks in advance for any advice!

When I try to mount the drive, ubuntu shows: ntfs_attr_pread_i: ntfs_pread failed: Input/output error Failed to read $MFTMirr: Input/output error Failed to mount '/dev/sda6': Input/output error NTFS is inconsistent. One more problem is also there: When I try to install Windows 7 with live dvd as well as USB, the installation freezes at the screen 'Setup is Starting...'. • Unit testing authorization in a Pylons app fails; cookies aren't been correctly set or recorded

  I'm having an issue running unit tests for authorization in a Pylons app. It appears as though certain cookies set in the test case may not be correctly written or parsed. Cookies work fine when hitting the app with a browser. Here is my test case inside a paste-generated TestController: def test_good_login(self): r = self.app.post('/dologin', params={'login': self.user['username'], 'password': self.password}) r = r.follow() # Should only be one redirect to root assert 'http://localhost/' == r.request.url assert 'Dashboard' in r This is supposed to test that a login of an existing account forwards the user to the dashboard page. Instead, what happens is that the user is redirected back to the login. The first POST works, sets the user in the session and returns cookies. Although those cookies are sent in the follow request, they don't seem to be correctly parsed. Authorization in the app is done via repoze.who and repoze.who.plugins.ldap with repoze.who_friendlyform performing the challenge.   Hi, I have some trouble testing my Android application which includes the google maps API. The ooficial API example worked just fine but if I copy the code into my own project it keeps saying: "The application has stopped unexpectedly". I looked up the key in the keystore several times and registered it with google. Even tried reinstalling the SDK. Does anybody know what the problem is? • Handling Errors from HttpWebRequest.GetResponse

  Hey experts - I'm having a ridiculous time trying to get an SMS API working (ZeepMobile, if you're interested) with .NET... I've been around .NET for a few years, but with all this social networking and API stuff, I need to get into the HttpWebRequest a bit. I'm new at it, but not completely new; I was able to hook up my site to Twitter without too much fuss (ie, I was able to modify someone's code to work for me). Anyways, the way their API works is to send an SMS message, you send them a POST and they respond back to you. I can send it just fine, but every time I do, rather than echo back something helpful to figure out what the error is, I get the Yellow Error Page Of Death (YEPOD) saying something to the effect of "The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request." This occurs on my line: '...creation of httpwebrequest here...' Dim myWebResponse As WebResponse myWebResponse = request.GetResponse() '<--- error line Is there any way to simply receive the error from the server rather than have the webserver throw an exception and give me the YEPOD? • Need help with workflow in Alfresco

  Hello SO community, I haven't had any luck getting help in the Alfresco forums, and I'm hoping for more here. We are building an application based on Alfresco and jBPM and I have defined a workflow, but I have either defined it wrong or am missing something or there are bugs in Alfresco integration with jBPM and I need help figuring out which and fixing it. Here is the problem: I have an advanced workflow and I am trying to launch it from JavaScript. Here is the code I'm using to start the workflow: var nodeId = args.nodeid; var document = search.findNode("workspace://SpacesStore/" + nodeId); var workflowAction = actions.create("start-workflow"); workflowAction.parameters.workflowName = "jbpm$nmwf:MyWorkflow"; workflowAction.parameters["bpm:workflowDescription"] = "Please edit: " + document.name; workflowAction.parameters["bpm:assignees"] = [people.getPerson("admin"), people.getPerson("andyg")]; var futureDate = new Date(); futureDate.setDate(futureDate.getDate() + 7); workflowAction.parameters["bpm:workflowDueDate"] = futureDate; workflowAction.execute(document); This runs fine and e-mail sent from the start node's default transition fires just fine. However, when I go looking for the workflow in my task list it is not there, but it is in my completed task list. The default transition (the only transition) from the start node points at a task node which has four transitions. There are 8 tasks and 22 transitions in the workflow. When I use the workflow console to start the workflow and end the start task, it properly follows the default start node transition to the next task. The new task shows up in "show tasks" but does not show up in "show my tasks" (apparently because the task was marked completed for some reason, though it is not in the "end" node). Clearly the assignees are on the task object and not on the workflow object. I added the assignees aspect to the start-state task so that it could hold them (after I had a problem; initially they were not there) and possibly they are still sitting there, but the start-state has ended before I even get control back from the web script (not that it would help if it wasn't ended, I need it to be in "In Editing" as the start-state is only used to log that the workflow was started). It has always confused me that the properties that I need to set on each task need to be requested before the task is entered (when you choose a transition you must provide the data for the next task before you can actually move to the next task as you have to validate that you have all of the required data first and then signal the transition). However, the code to start the workflow is asynchronous and therefore does not return either the started workflow or the current task (which in my case would be "In Editing"). So, either way you cannot set variables such as bpm:assignees and bpm:dueDate. I wonder if this is the problem with the user task list. I'm setting the assignees in the property list, but maybe those assignees are going to the start-state task and are not getting passed to the "In Editing" task? Note that this is my first jBPM workflow, so please don't assume I know what I'm doing. If you see something that looks off, it probably is and I just don't know it. When a the submit button is clicked, i call a function that executes: document.forms["request"].onsubmit(); What should happen, then, is that the onsubmit method ought to be triggered. This works properly in Chrome/FF, but for some reason IE/Safari will bypass the onsubmit function and simply add the parameter "address=" onto the url as if it were submitting the form and ignoring the onsubmit function.   I'm writing a DLL that has function for getting Alfresco login ticket without using user password, using only a user principal name (UPN). I’m calling alfresco REST API service /wcservice. I use NTLM in Alfresco. I checked and user is properly impersonated (I checked WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name property).   Running WAS 6.1.xx in a network deployment. The IBM provided plugin keystore's "plugin-key.kdb" password expires on april 26th along with the personal cert inside it. So no problem right? Create new cert and set new password on the kdb, restash the password and off we go! Well no! I can open the keystore using the new password with ikeyman and keytool. Using some "slightly dodgy" script, I can reverse the stash file and see that indeed the new password is set. Then, even if I restore the old keystore files (plugin-key.kdb,plugin-key.crl,plugin-key.sth,plugin-key.rdb) they no longer work either! So it must be permissions right? Well the permissions are the same as before, if I switch to apache user I can browse right through to the files and read them. I have even chown'ed them to apache:apache and/or chmod 777 and still its the same error! Does anyone have a clue what is going on here? Its pretty urgent as our site will be without HTTPS in a couple of days if this isn't resolved - thats bad for a retail web site :)

  I'm using GlusterFS 3.3.2. Two servers, a brick on each one. The Volume is "ARCHIVE80" I can mount the volume on Server2; if I touch a new file, it appears inside the brick on Server1. However, if I try to mount the volume on Server1, I have an error: Mount failed. Please check the log file for more details.   I'm trying to use my Synology DS212 NAS box also act as VPN gateway to my companies VPN. Sadly, they only use Cisco ASA and to complicate stuff even further, we've got to use personal certificates (which is of course more secure, but more complicate to get going…). So I compiled OpenConnect v4.06 from http://www.infradead.org/openconnect/. As a very basic test, I tried to build a connection by manually invoking openconnect, passing along the key and cert files, like so: /lib/ld-linux.so.3 --library-path /opt/lib \ /opt/openconnect/sbin/openconnect \ --certificate=$VPN_CFG/alexander.crt \ --sslkey=$VPN_CFG/alexander.key \ --cafile=$VPN_CFG/Company_VPN_CA.crt \ --user=alexander --verbose <ip>:443 It fails :( Attempting to connect to <ip>:443 Using certificate file $VPN_CFG/alexander.crt Using client certificate '/[email protected]/OU=Company VPN' 5919:error:0D0680A8:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_CHECK_TLEN:wrong tag:tasn_dec.c:1315: Loading private key failed (see above errors) Loading certificate failed.
