  In SQL Server, it is possible to test the result of a stored procedure to know if the result return rows or nothing ? Example : EXEC _sp_MySp 1, 2, 3 IF @@ROWCOUNT = 0 BEGIN PRINT('Empty') END ELSE BEGIN PRINT(@@ROWCOUNT) END But @@ROWCOUNT always return 0 so maybe is there another way of doing this ?

  I am trying to write a batch file that will examine a given directory, read each file for a given string "Example" and then delete any files that contain the string. The files are also System Files so I don't know what the exact extension is or if that matters (maybe you can just omit a file type filter and have it read all files?). Some of the files will be locked from reading as well so it needs to handle access denial errors if that occurs, not sure how batch files handle that.

• Is there a free version control server provider for non-public projects?

  I'd like to have a version control server (preferably SVN) accessible on the internet without having to host my own (linux) server. Setting up a home server ala DynDNS is not really an option. Can you have non-public (maybe single-user) projects on one of the OSS project hosting sites? Or are there alternatives? I had a look at Google Code. But that looked very public to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

This article states that 73% of websites they tested rely on JavaScript for important functionality, but it seems to me that the number must be larger. Have any surveys been done on this topic? Maybe a better way to phrase this question is - are there any sites that don't use JavaScript? EDIT: By 'use', I don't necessarily mean "rely on for important functionality" - that was just the statistic that one article gave.

For example, JSONObject: {stat: {123456: {x: 1, y: 2}, 123457: {z: 5, y: 2}}}} this should be like: stat[123456][x]=1&stat[123456][y]=2&stat[123457][z]=5&stat[123457][y]=2 of course with escaped symbols, and of course JSON object could be more complicated..   We have recently updated a java application which runs on an Ubuntu PC, and are now experiencing a graphics problem that we didn't encounter before. The system is running constantly, and randomly maybe twice a month but sometimes within a few days the systems graphics will freeze, and the gnome panels are frozen.
