• How can I match a partial data set with a full one in a spreadsheet?

  I have a spreadsheet (in Google Docs, but can be any spreadsheet) with a list of users (one per row), including a username (and other columns). Lets say there are 'n' rows. I have another spreadsheet with less than 'n' rows. One column has a username, another column has some other piece of data (lets say car rego number). I want to move the car rego number to the corresponding user in the first spreadsheet. How might I do this?

• F# compiler order of source files

  As I understand it, when using F#, you have to manually list the source files in dependency order for the compiler's benefit (if there is any way around that, please let me know!) Listing them on the command line from left to right obviously isn't going to scale. Is there a way to at least make it accept the list of files in a text file, one per line, preferably with the ability to put in blank lines and comments? I've checked the compiler options, and I don't see anything that looks promising.

  I've used virtualenvwrapper, but I'm having problems running it on a new computer. My .bashrc file is updated per the instructions: export WORKON_HOME=$DEV_HOME/projects source /usr/local/bin/virtualenvwrapper.sh But when source is run, I get the following: bash: /25009.hook: Permission denied bash: /25009.hook: No such file or directory This previous post leads me to believe the filename is being recycled and locked because virtualenvwrapper.sh uses $$. Is there any way to fix this?

  I am stuck between row vs colunms table design for storing some items but the decision is which table is easier to manage and if colunms then how many colunms are best to have? For example I have object meta data, ideally there are 45 pieces of information (after being normalized) on the same level that i need to store per object. So is 45 colunms in a heavry read/write table good? Can it work flawless in a real world situation of heavy concurrent read/writes?

  I have a database with a field named Field1 that has 100 nchars per entry. Each time I add a value, it is stored as: "value (100-ValueLength Spaces) " So Basically each stored value has a string of spaces after it. This is getting to be an issue when I try doing: if (value == "Example") because of all of the empty spaces after the string. How can I get it so the stored values don't have all of these trailing spaces?

  I am creating a php script that requires the server to make several cURL requests per run. I'll be running this script through cron every 3 minutes. Im looking to maximize the amount of cURL requests I can make in a 24 hr period. What I am wondering is if it would be better from a performance standpoint to get a dedicated server, or several small shared hosting accounts. My service is @Stateless @WebService(serviceName = "MemberServices", portName = "MemberPort", endpointInterface = "gov.virginia.vita.edmsvc.ws.MemberWS") @BindingType(value=SOAPBinding.SOAP12HTTP_BINDING) @TransactionAttribute(TransactionAttributeType.REQUIRED) public class MemberBean implements MemberWS, MemberBeanLocal { .... } However the server is throwing the following error: "This implementation does not contain a WSDL definition and is not a SOAP 1.1 based binding. Per the JAXWS specification, a WSDL definition cannot be generated for this implementation.error" this same service deploy successfully on Glashfish and JBoss, any ideas ?
