• WPF Databinding thread safety?

  Well lets say i have an object that i databind to, it implements INotifyPropertyChanged to tell the GUI when a value has changed... if i trigger this from a different thread than the GUI thread how would wpf behave? and will it make sure that it gets the value of the property from memory and not the cpu cache? more or less im asking if wpf does lock() on the object containing the property...

  Ok, I have some rather odd behavior in one of my Projects and I'm hoping someone can tell me why. My file structure looks like this: MainApp.py res/ __init__.py elements/ __init__.py MainFrame.py Inside of MainFrame.py I've defined a class named RPMWindow which extends wx.Frame. In MainApp.py this works: from res.elements.MainFrame import * And this does not: from res.elements.MainFrame import RPMWindow I realize that the wild card import won't hurt anything, but I'm more interested in understanding why the named import is failing when the wild card succeeds.

  Hi I have a webservice with the following annotations: @WebService @HttpSessionScope @Stateful @Addressing Now I created a ASP.NET (c#) client for this webservice, but when I call a method the following error is returned: This is a stateful web service and {http://jax-ws.dev.java.net/xml/ns/}objectId header is required. How can I tell ASP.net to switch to stateful mode? Is this possible at all? Thanks any advice/examples.

  I installed Blend 4 RC recently but strangely it deleted some of my VS2010 projects templates, including the most important ones being Silverlight User Control and Silverlight Application. Does anybody know how to get back these templates or tell VS2010 to reset all templates? A bit frustrating, I'm having to create projects on my laptop then copy them to my desktop manually :(

I have found the message in the gcc source here: http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/gcc/gcc-5646/gcc/libgcov.c It seems to be a sanity check that the tags in the .gcda files match but I'm not sure.   I have a cell in a spreadsheet that is a date object in Excel but becomes a double (something like 39820.0 for 1/7/2009) when it comes out of C1's xls class. I read this is a Julian date format. Can someone tell me how to parse it back into a DateTime in C#? Update: It looks like I might not have a Julian date, but instead the number of days since Dec 30, 1899.
