  • asp.net custom templated datalist - throws argument out of range (index) on button press

    I have a class BaseTemplate public abstract class BaseTemplate : ITemplate This adds the controls, and provides abstract methods to implement in the inheriting class. The inheriting class then adds its html according to its data source and manages the data binding. this all works fine - I get the control appearing with properly parsed html. the problem is that the base class adds controls into the template that have their own CommandName arguments ... the idea is that the class that implements the custom templated dataList will provide the logic of setting the Selected and Edit Indexes. This class also manages the data binding etc. It sets all of the templates ont he datalist in the Init method (which was another cause of this exception). the exception gets throw when i hit one of these buttons .. but after the ItemCommand event is being processed. The stack trace does not include any references to my methods or objects which is why i am so stuck.   • setting user.dir system property in JBoss 5.1

    In JBoss 4.2.3 the System property 'user.dir' is defined to be <JBoss-root>/bin when I ran the same application on JBoss 5.1 I noticed that it cannot find the System property user.dir why there is no default definition for version 5.1? and how can I define it manually? I followed this suggestion and added my property into properties-service.xml but it had no affect and still JBoss couldn't find the system:user.dir value.

  • Finding Errant Output to System.out in Large Java Program

    Hi, We have a large java code base [~1 M Lines]. Buried (somewhere) in the code base is some old debug output to System.out that we want to remove (its cluttering things up). The problem is: out code base is so large that we can't easily find where the output is coming from. What we want is a way to see where System.out.println is getting called from (like a stack trace from an exception or some such). Its not suitable to debugging -- the errant output is coming from some errant thread somewhere etc. Any ideas on how to track the source of this errant output down? PS: 99.99% of calls to System.out are legit, and we have thousands of them, so simply searching the code base for System.out calls is not a solution!

  • Dynamically changing background color of a UIView

    Hello- Here's my setup. I have a viewcontroller that I'm creating and adding as a subview. The viewcontroller presents some options that a user can chose from. The viewcontroller is being pushed in response to a "long press" gesture. Within the viewcontroller, I added a child UIView to group some other controls together so I can move them around the screen as a unit and, when they are displayed, center them on the location of the long press. Here is the code that instantiates the view controller, changes its location, and adds it as a subview: UserOptions *opts = [[UserOptions alloc] initWithNibName:@"UserOptions" bundle:nil]; [opts recenterOptions:location]; [self.view addSubview:opts.view]; That bit of code does create and push the viewcontroller, but the call to recenterOptions doesn't do anything. Here is that method: - (void) recenterOptions:(CGPoint)location { CGRect oldFrame = self.optionsView.frame; CGFloat newX = location.x; // + oldFrame.size.width / 2.0; CGFloat newY = location.y; // + oldFrame.size.height / 2.0; CGRect newFrame = CGRectMake(newX, newY, oldFrame.size.width, oldFrame.size.height); self.optionsView.frame = newFrame; } Note that self.optionsView is the child UIView that I added to the viewcontroller's nib.   • Impersonate SYSTEM (or equivalent) from Administrator Account

    This question is a follow up and continuation of this question about a Privilege problem I'm dealing with currently. Problem Summary: I'm running a program under a Domain Administrator account that does not have Debug programs (SeDebugPrivilege) privilege, but I need it on the local machine. Klugey Solution: The program can install itself as a service on the local machine, and start the service. Said service now runs under the SYSTEM account, which enables us to use our SeTCBPrivilege privilege to create a new access token which does have SeDebugPrivilege. We can then use the newly created token to re-launch the initial program with the elevated rights. I personally do not like this solution. I feel it should be possible to acquire the necessary privileges as an Administrator without having to make system modifications such as installing a service (even if it is only temporary). I am hoping that there is a solution that minimizes system modifications and can preferably be done on the fly (ie: Not require restarting itself). I have unsuccessfully tried to LogonUser as SYSTEM and tried to OpenProcessToken on a known SYSTEM process (such as csrss.exe) (which fails, because you cannot OpenProcess with PROCESS_TOKEN_QUERY to get a handle to the process without the privileges I'm trying to acquire). I'm just at my wit's end trying to come up with an alternative solution to this problem. I was hoping there was an easy way to grab a privileged token on the host machine and impersonate it for this program, but I haven't found a way. If anyone knows of a way around this, or even has suggestions on things that might work, please let me know. I really appreciate the help, thanks!

    I have a large number of rows in a table within which I wish to attach a unique colorpicker (jQuery plugin) to each cell in a particular column identified by unique ids. Given this, I want to automate the generation of instances of the colorpicker as follows: var myrows={"a","b","c",.....} var mycolours={"ffffff","fcdfcd","123123"...} for (var i=0;i<myrows.length;i++) { $("#"+myrows[i]+"colour").ColorPicker({flat: false, color: mycolours[i], onChange: function (hsb, hex, rgb) { $("#"+myrows[i]+"currentcolour").css('backgroundColor', '#' + hex); } }); Now this doesn't work because the evaluation of the $("#"+myrows[i]+"currentcolour") component occurs at the time the function is called, not when it is defined (which is want I need). Given that this plugin javascript appends its code to the level and not to the underlying DOM component that I am accessing above so can't derive what id this pertains to, how can I evaluate the variable during function declaration/definition? The Co-ordinate system in this case is the canonical opengl co-ordinate system which extends from (-1,-1,-1) to (1,,1,1). My question is, is this coordinate system right-handed or left-handed? A broader question: Is there a document with OpenGL which can list all the mathematical conventions followed by the API?

  • Imagick: gifs, and background color

    Hi, I have 2 questions about using the php imagick class that I can't get working properly... 1.) I tried resizing / cropping a gif, and treated it as a normal image. It seemed to work, except that a few frames in the middle of the animation contained a small patch of artifacts. Is there a setting that should be used when working with multi-frame gifs? 2.) Is there a simple command to resize images if they are too small by just adding a background? For instance, if an image is 10x10, could I add a white background, and have a 100x100px image with the original in the upper left corner? Thanks for any help!

    Hi guys, I've built a web application which basically logs work that has been done upon projects plus maintain resources used etc. What I need now is to set it up so that projects can be billed. Billed such that - each task that has been undertaken in a project is regarded as a billable service. Instead of building my own invoicing system and accounts management system I was wondering if there was any standard data format i.e in xml DTD or so to which I could set up the information so it could be imported by a third party accounting system for billing - or if not then what is the best way to accomplish this. I need to integrate invoicing capabilities somehow - better if its third party as I don't wish to have to go through building an entire accounting system.

  • Help System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager find a type in a non-referenced assembly

    I'm trying to write a plug-in system where assemblies can be dropped in a folder that ASP.NET has no knowledge about. This plug-in system works fine for ASP.NET MVC based assemblies, but for old-school WebForm assemblies (where the .aspx files Inherits the System.Web.UI.Page derived classes) System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager is responsible for compiling the .aspx file into a dynamic assembly. My problem is that the BuildManager knows nothing about the assemblies within my plug-in folder and it seems to be absolutely nothing I can do to help it. If I do: BuildManager.GetType("Type.Defined.In.Plugin.Assembly", true, true) it throws. If I first get a reference to the Type and then try: var instance = BuildManager.CreateInstanceFromVirtualPath(path, type); it still throws, even though I've now passed in the specific type it needs to compile the .aspx file. Is there anything I can do to help BuildManager find the types it needs to compile the .aspx file?

    I'm trying to reduce the runtime of a routine that converts an RGB image to a YCbCr image. My code looks like this: cv::Mat input(BGR->m_height, BGR->m_width, CV_8UC3, BGR->m_imageData); cv::Mat output(BGR->m_height, BGR->m_width, CV_8UC3); cv::cvtColor(input, output, CV_BGR2YCrCb); cv::Mat outputArr[3]; outputArr[0] = cv::Mat(BGR->m_height, BGR->m_width, CV_8UC1, Y->m_imageData); outputArr[1] = cv::Mat(BGR->m_height, BGR->m_width, CV_8UC1, Cr->m_imageData); outputArr[2] = cv::Mat(BGR->m_height, BGR->m_width, CV_8UC1, Cb->m_imageData); split(output,outputArr); But, this code is slow because there is a redundant split operation which copies the interleaved RGB image into the separate channel images. Is there a way to make the cvtColor function create an output that is already split into channel images? I tried to use constructors of the _OutputArray class that accepts a vector or array of matrices as an input, but it didn't work.

    Hi all. I'm trying to get the green box that appears on the second click of a tri-state checkbox to be red, and also to fill up the box.   • System.Web.UI not available in console app?

    Hey everybody, Im trying to write a quick console app that outputs data to an HTML file, however im having trouble accessing the System.Web.UI namespace. Adding System.Web to my references places a warning icon on top of the reference name in the solution explorer and System.Web is not available in the .NET reference list (in order for me to actually add it to the project I have to go to the object browser and add it from there). Anybody have any ideas about what I could be missing? Thanks alot people!

    It just makes me go mad. I can't realize what the problem is. Please have a look at the pixeli.ca/glass. There is a home page that looks good - white background of the main content and looks good. But all the other pages don't have white background so they look not the way they should look. All the pages have the same style sheet and the same layout elements taken from 960.gs framework. It's just some kind of mystery there. What I need is to make all page look like the home page - having white background. Thanks.
