  My (Fortune 500) company just rolled out new VMs and everyone is complaining they are dog slow. Is there any way I could verify, from inside a VM, whether Intel virtualization (VT-x) acceleration has been properly enabled? The processor claims to be a Xeon E7-2830 but the experience has been more like a first-gen Atom. I'd ask IT directly but I get the impression they're unlikely to respond to any suggestion that they are, in fact, drooling imbeciles.

• Suppressing iTunes Licensing Agreement for Roaming Profiles

  This application is stored locally from our company image we are testing, but our users are using roaming profiles and each time they log in to a different computer or the main computer they work on iTunes keeps asking them to accept the licensing agreement. • Use Dropbox as Offsite Enterprise Backup

  For my small company, I'm using Tomahawk Backup as the enterprise offshore solution, as it covers files, databases and Exchange (brick level). The problem is the price... it costs more than 10x the price of Dropbox (and others) for the same space (120GB), and doesn't have de-duplication. So I'm wondering: assuming there is no problem with backing up files only (ie copying the exchange store file and the db files to the Dropbox folder), would Dropbox be suitable as the offsite backup solution?   My network engineer states I am part of a cluster where two apache application servers(512G RAM each) have 142 instances each of Tomcat (of which my company represents 6 each with 2G RAM). This seems like a lot and my latency issues move with the hour of the day - 7AM CST software functions fine, 10AM CST - system slows significantly this slowness continues until 6PM CST. My question is how many Tomcat instances can one application server handle?

Apparently the way that Akamai works (company that backs CloudFiles program) is that the mime-type is an image and will force the user to download it - I can still use the image within HTML tags like the <img src="//cdn.com/image.jpg"/> but copying it in the URL or clicking the image will always prompt the download I want to view that image within the browser - this happens with IE, Google Chrome and Firefox.

  Recently an employee deleted their entire mailbox before leaving the company and there was no litigation hold in place. Is there any way to recover all of the deleted items, preferably via a PowerShell script? We'd need to recover all of the folders, subfolders, and online archives. • Hard drive restore on reboot on windows embedded

  My company has an old out of service device with windows embedded on it that we want to re purpose. Any changes to the drive (SD Card with 2 partitions), (ie: installed software, ip address, system settings, files) are reset/deleted when we reboot the device.
