  • MVCContrib Testing Route with Areas

    Hi, I am using MVC 2 with Area. To test routing, I am using MvcContrib. This is the testing code: [Test] public void Home() { MvcApplication.RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes); "~/".ShouldMapTo(x = x.Login("Nps")); } I am not sure how to call routing definition that are stored in Areas. Calling AreaRegistration.RegisterAllAreas() is not an option as it gives an exception. Thanks Revin

But the actual PDF link points to Amazon S3 url, which is accessible to anybody. How do I enforce the access-control rules for this url?(without making my server a proxy for all the PDF download links)

I want to read all the bits of hex data of a MP3 file and have my speakers play it. :) I have no idea where to start since I don't yet know how data is actually stored into a MP3 file.     EDIT 1. The results of a query from my database are displayed on my view page. I've tried using this: // first_view.php <?php echo $this->session->set_userdata('choice',$item); ?> immediately before // first_view.php <?php echo form_close(); ?> thinking that the user's final choice would be stored there so I can display it on another view like this: // second_controller.php $c = $this->session->userdata('choice'); // second_view.php echo 'Your Choose: '. $c; However, what actually displays is the last result displayed on first_view.php, not what the user choose. My question is, if the user clicked on button 4, how do I get that particular choice displayed onto another view? END OF EDIT1 ORIGINAL QUESTION My view page (CodeIgniter) displays the contents of an array in the form of several links. If a user clicks on a link, I want the user to be taken to another view page (via a controller) that gives more information concerning that particular link (which is stored in that particular position in the array) My question is, how do I access and display the contents of that particular location within the array on the second view file without getting a "Undefined variable error" on the second view?   • How to get compatibility between C# and SQL2k8 AES Encryption?

    I have an AES encryption being made on two columns: one of these columns is stored at a SQL Server 2000 database; the other is stored at a SQL Server 2008 database. As the first column's database (2000) doesn't have native functionality for encryption / decryption, we've decided to do the cryptography logic at application level, with .NET classes, for both. But as the second column's database (2008) allow this kind of functionality, we'd like to make the data migration using the database functions to be faster, since the data migration in SQL 2k is much smaller than this second and it will last more than 50 hours because of being made at application level. My problem started at this point: using the same key, I didn't achieve the same result when encrypting a value, neither the same result size. Below we have the full logic in both sides.. But even not filling the IV in C#, I get very different results, both in content and length.
