  • WordPress permalinks not working, everything seems fine

    I have a WordPress blog I've migrated from another CMS, and I've being having a lot of problems with my permalinks structure: lots of articles give a 404, although they are there, somewhere, published. The site is www.muycomputerpro.com (MCP for short), and for example an article that should be found is: http://muycomputerpro.com/Actualidad/Especiales/2009-las-grandes-crecen-en-la-bolsa If I do a search on the search tool at MCP, the result is there (see EnlacesMCP-1.jpg) But when I click on the link, our 404 error page appears (see EnlacesMCP-2.jpg) The weird thing is, the article is published, and the permalink is the right one, as you can see on this screenshot of the WordPress CMS: The permalink (below the title) is correct (http://www.muycomputerpro.com/Actualidad/Especiales/2009-las-grandes-crecen-en-la-bolsa/) but it does not work. In fact, if I try to use the short link (http://www.muycomputerpro.com/?p=5023) the article does not show either. I've accessed my WordPress DB and I've search the article to see if there is something wrong there, but from what I can tell all the fields are OK, here's a screenshot: I really don't know what is causing this. The permalink structure should work (I'm using the "Custom permalink" plugin to preserve the old URLs that had a alphanumeric code at the end of the postname) and the permalink config on wordpress is "/%postname%/". I really need help :(

    I'm using uploadify and the function to change the settings doesn't seem to be working. I'm basing my code from the following example: #(‘#someID’).uploadifySettings(’scriptData’, {‘name’ : some.val()}); So here's what I'm doing: // INITIALIZATION $("#"+elementId).uploadify({ // other data "scriptData": { "token": token } }); Later on I want to update the scriptData: $("#"+elementId).uploadifySettings("scriptData",{"token": "pleasework"}); ... but this is not working, it's still using the scriptData set during the initialization. What am I doing wrong?

  • Folder redirection GPO doesn't seem to be working

    I've been trying to set up roaming profiles and folder redirection, but have hit a bit of a snag with the latter. This is exactly what I've done so far: (I have OU permissions and GPO permissions over my division's OU.) Created a group called Roaming-Users in the OU 'Groups' Added a single user (testuser) to the group Using the Group Policy Management tool (via RSAT on Windows 7) I right-clicked on the Groups OU and selected 'Create a GPO in this domain, and Link it here' Added my 'Roaming-Users' group to the Security Filtering section of the policy. Added the Folder Redirection option, specifically for Documents. It is set to redirect to: \myserver\Homes$\%USERNAME%\Documents (Homes$ exists and is sharing-enabled). Right-clicked on the policy under the Groups OU and checked Enforced. Logged into a machine as testuser successfully. Created a simple text file, saved some gibberish, logged off. Remoted into the server with Homes$ on it, noticed that the directory Homes$\testuser was created, but was empty. No text file to be found. From what I've read, I did everything I aught to...but I can't quite figure out the issue. I had no errors when I logged off about syncing issues (offline files is enabled) or anything, so I can only imagine my file should have ended up up on the share. Any ideas? EDIT: Using gpresult /R, I confirmed the user is in fact part of the Roaming-Users group, but does not have the policy applied, if that helps. EDIT 2: Apparently you can't apply GPOs to groups...so I applied to users and used the same security filter to limit it to my test user. Nothing happens as far as redirection goes, but I now have the following error in the event log: Folder redirection policy application has been delayed until the next logon because the group policy logon optimization is in effect

    I have a new install of VIM from the automatic windows installer: gvim73_46.exe I have Python 2.7 (32 bit) installed. If I open gvim, and type: :set python? I get E518: Unknown option. If I try typing: :python 'hello' Vim crashes. What could be wrong? Here are the contents of :version in case they are helpful, although python is installed, and it is using Python 2.7. I also checked, and C:\Windows\System32\python27.dll is where it should be... I am really lost here. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going wrong?   • Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Find and Replace ALT-F not working

    I'm using a demo of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 and I've notice that they no longer open the Find and Replace in a separate window. The problem with this, at least on Windows 7, is that I can't use the normal hotkey shortcuts like ALT-F because its being intercepted by the main Window and brings up the file menu drop down. Is there a fix for this?

  • SSH Private Key Not Working in Some Directories

    I have a strange issue where SSH won't properly connect with a private-key if the key file is in certain directories. I've setup the keys on a set of servers and the following command ssh -i /root/privatekey [email protected] works fine and I login to the given host without getting prompted by a password, but this command: ssh -i /etc/keyfiles/privatekey [email protected] gives me a password prompt. I've narrowed it down that this behavior occurs in only some sub-directories of /etc/. For example /etc/httpd1/ gives me a password prompt but /etc/httpd/ does not. What I've checked so far: All private key files used are identical (copied from the original file). The private key file and directories used have identical permissions. No relevant error messages in the server/client logs. No interesting debug messages from ssh -v (it just seems to skip the key file). It happens with connecting to different hosts. After more testing it is not the actual directory name. For example: mkdir /etc/test cp /root/privatekey /etc/test ssh -i /etc/test/privatekey [email protected] # Results in password prompt cp /root/privatekey /etc/httpd # Existing directory ls -ald test httpd # drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4096 Mar 5 18:25 httpd # drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Mar 5 18:43 test ssh -i /etc/httpd/privatekey [email protected] # Results in *no* prompt rm -r test cp -R /etc/httpd /etc/test ssh -i /etc/test/privatekey [email protected] # Results in *no* prompt` I'm sure its just something simple I've overlooked but I'm at a loss.

  • jsonp cross domain only working in IE

    EDIT: At first I thought it wasn't working cross domain at all, now I realize it only works in IE I'm using jQuery to call a web service (ASP.NET .axmx), and trying to us jsonp so that I can call it across different sites. Right now it is working ONLY in IE, but not in Firefox, Chrome, Safari. Also, in IE, a dialog pops up warning "This page is accessing information that is not under its control..." Any ideas?   • Upstart multiple instances of service not working

    I started playing with MongoDB on Lucid. Now I would like to run a DB and Config server on the same box. They both use the same binary to launch, but with different config files and running on different ports. All directories for log and lib is split so one goes to mongodb and the other to mongoconf. Each process can be started without any problems on their own. start mongodb stop mongodb start mongoconf stop mongoconf But if I try to start both, the second one would just start and exit. Using 'initctl log-priority debug' I got the following in the logs. Jan 6 12:44:12 mongo4 init: event_finished: Finished started event Jan 6 12:44:12 mongo4 init: job_process_handler: Ignored event 1 (1) for process 5690 Jan 6 12:44:12 mongo4 init: mongoconf (mongoconf) main process (5690) terminated with status 1 Jan 6 12:44:12 mongo4 init: mongoconf (mongoconf) goal changed from start to stop Jan 6 12:44:12 mongo4 init: mongoconf (mongoconf) state changed from running to stopping man 5 init shows that you can use instance names to differentiate the two. I tried using 'instance mongoconf' in the on upstart script and 'instance mongodb' in the other one, and it still fails. I can manually start the other process, so there is definitely no conflicts on port numbers or directories. Any ideas on what to try or how to get output on why it is 'terminated with status 1'?     I am placing apps into my fluxbox startup file as per the instructions, however nothing starts up except fluxbox.     I am trying to write to a folder that is located on my C:\ drive. I keep getting the error of : Could not find a part of the path .. etc My filepath looks basically like this : C:\WebRoot\ManagedFiles\folder\thumbs\5c27a312-343e-4bdf-b294-0d599330c42d\Image\lighthouse.jpg And I am writing to it like so : using (MemoryStream memoryStream = new MemoryStream()) { thumbImage.Save(memoryStream, ImageFormat.Jpeg); using (FileStream diskCacheStream = new FileStream(cachePath, FileMode.CreateNew)) { memoryStream.WriteTo(diskCacheStream); } memoryStream.WriteTo(context.Response.OutputStream); } Don't worry too much about the memory stream. It is just outputting it (After I save it). Since I am creating a file, I am a bit perplexed as to why it cannot find the file (Shouldn't it just write to where I tell it to, regardless?). The strange thing is, It has no issue when I'm testing it above using File.Exists. Obviously that is returning false, But it means that atleast my Filepath is semi legit. Any help is much appreciated.

    Hi, I have a batch file that is Run when a selfextraction file is executed. The self extracted files must be copied to to specefic place on the harddisc. In the batch file the user is asked where the path is (if it's not located the default place) Part of the batch file: @ECHO OFF IF EXIST "C:\Program Files\program\program.exe". ( set PROGRAMPATH=C:\Program Files\ ) ELSE ( echo Program folder was not found. Please enter the path for Program set /p PROGRAMPATH=Path: ) echo Copying data to "%PROGRAMPATH%"... copy /Y "*.txt" "%PROGRAMPATH%" Now for my question. If a user then enters a new path, is it possible to save that path. So when he executes the self extraction packagde again, it could remember that new path?

    Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit 2 GB RAM Duo 1.6MHz processors Since upgrading from Vista to Win 7 File Hippo Update Checker no longer works? It appears to go through the motions of checking the software because the popup window appears but it never fires up the results in a browser which it used to do in Vista. It simply does nothing after the initial popup window appears and disappears. Have tried uninstall/reinstall with no joy. Any ideas?

  • Cmd+Less Than (10.8.2) not working after Xcode (4.5.x) installed

    I had to reinstall my MBP recently. I stress Cmd+Less Than a lot for switching between Xcode's main window and the Organizer for documentation. The standard OSX-shortcut for doing that is Cmd + Less Than. After installing Xcode it didn't work any longer. I saw, that Xcode uses Cmd+LT for "Edit Schemes", a rarely used option. Even after deleting the shortcut for "Edit Schemes" in Xcode, Cmd+LT didn't work. How can I get Cmd + Less Than to work again? Mac OS X Mount Lion 10.8.2 Xcode 4.5.2 I have less than 10 reputation on superuser (acutally first post here), so I can't post the answer to my question. Would yo be so kind and upvote this question, so I can officially answer the question? The question, as well as the answer is only correct, if you use German keyboard layout.

  • How can I have 2 users working on the same PC at the same time

    I have a pc/machine that has its own ip address and it can be connected to by certain external PC's through our firewall. User A has a RDP connection from say Germany directly to the PC - his ip number is allowed through our firewall to connect to the PC. He now wants User B to connect at the same time so that User B can see what User A is doing on the screen at the same time and maybe take over the screen to put his input in. I know that you cannot have 2 RDP connections at the same time but what would be the easiest solution to this. I want User A to keep his RDP connection, but I am unsure of what to suggest so that User B can see what is going on at the same time. The Users are not happy to use Real VNC, etc.

But when I deploy it on heroku it seems the gem is not properly installed or something lile that as I got the following error: NameError: uninitialized constant Twitter::OAuth My code is very simple: oauth = Twitter::OAuth.new(consumer_token, consumer_secret) oauth.authorize_from_access(access_token, access_secret) client = Twitter::Base.new(oauth) client.update("Updating my status from twitter gem.   • f12 and ctrl + f5 not working correctly

    When I came back to my work computer after being away for a week I found out when I try to clear the cache and refresh the page via ctrl + f5 (or just f5) I get the prompt "Type the Internet address of a document, and Internet Explorer will open it for you" with a drop down list in IE. When I try f5 in Chrome and FF it opens the "Open file" dialog box. When I try to f12 for Dev tools in IE, Chrome & FF it opens up the print dialog box. Why is this happening and what can I do to revert it back to the way it was?

This folder is not inside my project and I would to know if there is a way to load an image from that folder on to an ASP.NET Image control. <asp:Image ID="img" runat="server" /> One solution could be to make the Images folder a Virtual directory on the IIS but I would like to know if this can be done without creating a virtual directory for the Images folder.

  • DB2 runstats not working for xml columns

    Hello, I am running runstats command to update the runtime statistics of a particular table called "CUSTOMER" in DB2. The customer has two columns- CID (integer) and INFO (xml column). After running the command, if I look into the SYSCOLDIST table, the information for column CID is populated correctly. But there is nothing filled for the INFO xml column.   • Timeout option not working on efi windows 7/windows8 dual boot machine

    I hav a gigbyte GA-Z77m-D3h mobo and installed Windows 8 Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate on two SSDs (in that order) in EFI mode. Now when I start my computer, I get the windows boot menu (text mode) with the two OSses to choose, but I have to manually press RETURN to have the computer boot into the Win OS. Even if I wait an hour, no default action takes place. Using bcdedit (from either of the OSses) I can successfully change the time out value, and it shows up in the bcdedit (no params) output. But it doesn't fire ...   • Hyper-V Guests suddenly stopped working

    Hi! Here's my configuration: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard as a host OS, and two guests VMs running the same exact OS. Yesterday, Trial Activation on all OSes has expired and quite naturally all machines shut down. I rearmed the host, but cannot log on to either guest VMs. From what I see, they start up normally (State is listed as Running) but CPU Usage seems to be stuck at 3% and when I connect to it all I see is black textmode screen with cursor blinking. One of my VMs has several snapshots, and when I revert back, it starts up normally. Moreover, "reference VM" (the one I cloned these two VMs from) starts up just normally. How can I troubleshoot this issue?
