    Hi, We do a kickstart installation of FC-10 at our place. I am quite intimidated by the distribution update pop up that comes up after the O/S installation. I want a keyword to put into the kickstart file that would stop Fedora from intimating with an update pop-up.     Hello, I am having some trouble with my iBook G4. It seems that whenever I plug it into the wall charger that it doesn't charge. It's not the charger's fault. There's a button on the back of it right next the battery, when I push it all five lights next to the button light up. I don't think where the charger is put in is broken. Any help? .

    During an overnight system state backup we are seeing thousands of success audit events (4656, 4658) on the folder c:\windows\servicing, system32 and others in the windows folder. We use file success auditing on some files so I can't disable it but this deluge is filling up the logs and making reporting tricky. What is the harm of changing the auditing settings on the windows folder? What are the recommended settings to put on the files for those people doing system state backups? Thanks,

    Note, there's already a question on this regard, but it's totally useless. I need to blur, or put a small opaque mask to a moving object on a movie I took, I am using mac osx. Clearly, I don't want to shell out a lot of money for something so simple, so getting adobe premiere or similar software is a no go. I could however consider paying a small software (max 30 dollars) for this specific task.

  • Add Thunderbird to Firefox as a feed subscriber application in windows

    I'm trying to get Thunderbird to be my default application to subscribe to feed that I visit in firefox. I "choose application" and put in the path of Thunderbird executable C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe And it doesn't work, asks me to close Thunderbird It's strange that Firefox has Outlook as a selectable option which works flawlessly but its own brother Thunderbird isn't even on the list of defaults. PS: And when I have Thunderbird closed and then do the above, it starts the Thunderbird and puts the feed in whatever folder it likes without even asking me.

According to the doc: As of MySQL 5.1.29, use --slow_query_log[={0|1}] to enable or disable the slow query log, and optionally --slow_query_log_file=file_name to specify a log file name. The --log-slow-queries option is deprecated. So how do I use that option? Can I put it in my.cnf? An example would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I downloaded the .zip for 5.3 Windows non-thread safe and manually put in at c:\PHP. I am stumped.

    once in a while, the screen brightness stops responding to any reason, and stays on full brightness.. for those of you that have HP Envy, you know what this means... battery suicide. the FN+* controls don't work. i also tried going in to power settings and adjusting all modes brightness to low wend of spectrum, after saving, it has no effect.. i suppose i could try rebooting as i always just put my laptop to sleep :/ anyone came across this ?

    If I install a package manager such as Macports, Fink or Homebrew, how does it affect the startup and running of my system? It seems like the answer should be "Not at all when you're not using them" but I'm worried that they will break other software (like Mono) or run background processes. Is my fear totally misplaced?   • Puppet configuration file on Windows

    I'm running puppet on windows as an admin (testing on windows 7, even though it is not officially supported). When I install puppet following the windows installation instructions, no puppet.conf file is generated in C:/ProgramData/PuppetLabs/puppet/etc. I can run puppet agent --genconfig to create one, but regardless of what values I put in there, it doesn't seem to respect them. Is this just a puppet/windows issue? Or am I doing something wrong?

So my download was cut. Is it possible to treat the file as your own and then put it to your own dropbox. And from there it would continue downloading.
