    Hi, We do a kickstart installation of FC-10 at our place. I am quite intimidated by the distribution update pop up that comes up after the O/S installation. I want a keyword to put into the kickstart file that would stop Fedora from intimating with an update pop-up.     I want to remove visual studio 2010 from a computer i am selling but even after uninstall, it looks like my product key is still around - if you re-install it it will use the product key... How do I remove that registration info from the computer as I don't want the new owner of the computer to use my product key. And I don't want to have to uninstall Windows.   • Power scheme faulty [closed]

    Hi, I use a laptop. When I take the power cable out to run on batteries, the screen darkens, as it is no longer so bright, to save on battery power. When I put the power cable back in, the screen brightens back to it's original brightness. However, I have since replaced the power cable, and the screen remains darkened. I have all necessary strings in /etc/paths /usr/bin /bin /usr/sbin /sbin /usr/local/bin in ~/.bash_profile export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/mysql/bin export PATH=$PATH:$HOME/.rvm/bin export PATH="$(brew --prefix php54)/bin:$PATH" export PATH="$(brew --prefix)/bin:$PATH" But every time I execute echo $PATH in terminal, I get only /usr/local/bin if I put .bash_profile strings to .profile or .bashrc I have no effect.

    here is how posterous works, I make a A record of DNS of my domain (blog.mydomainname.com) to posterous IP address 67.207.139.81 , in the manage panel of posterous , i put my custom domain (blog.meetingly.com). Then i can reach my posterous blog http://mydomainname.posterous.com from http://blog.mydomainname.com url. How posterous implements this? Is this a DNS level thing or web server level setting?     I am using firefox 14 and lately, I have been observing this weird problem with my firefox. Everytime I put an address in address bar and hit return, https version of the site opens. This has no problem to me but some of my the sites which do not support https can not be opened without typing full http:// followed by the site . I am not using https enabling extension. No extensions were changed when this problem popped up.

    Hey, I have obtained an SSL certificate by Thawte for domain.com Now my infrastructure changed due to heavy load I have mx.domain.com as SMTP relay storage.domain.com as Mail-Storage and domain.com pointing at Web-Server Every server is hosted on another dedicated/virtual server with individual IP. I do not want to put the Web-Server on the Mail-Storage for security reasons but I do want to use my SSL-Certificate for the Mail-Storage(POP3S/IMAPS). Is that possible or how do I solve that issue?

    I'm using Win 7's built-in VPN client but every time I put my computer to sleep / hibernate mode and then wake it up again, the connection is lost and I need to reconnect manually. Is there any way to automate it? Wireless connections have a nice little checkbox ("automatically connect when this network is in range") but I couldn't find anything similar for VPN connections. Task scheduler maybe?

    Hi, I install apache, mysql, php and then phpmyadmin on ubuntu desktop 10.04 version I test apache: localhost with browser and its works. I test mysql with console and its works. I test phpmyadmin http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ and get error 404 not found I see that solution for that brobem, copy /phpmyadmin/ to /www/, but I dont want to put in /www/ to my websites files (maybe I wrong or miss something-please tell me in this case).     I read an article: Determine whether you've already generated SSH keys which says that ssh in Windows, keys are in C:\Documents and Settings\userName\Application Data\SSH\UserKeys\ but I have found the keys to be in C:\Documents and Settings\userName\Application Data.SSH . Is there a setting to determine where to put these keys or am I reading the wrong documentation or what?

    I'm looking for an easy method to run N selected processes at the same time with one command. It should put all the output on my terminal and shut down all of them when I exit with ctrl+c. Is there any existing app that does this? I'm thinking of some thing like exec_many 10 foo - it should keep 10 foos running and respawn any that dies.
