  • Disable email when modifying several bugs at once in bugzilla

    Where I work, we use Bugzilla extensively for bug and feature tracking. We take advantage of the built in milestones to help us manage our timelines better, but sometimes priorities shift and milestones need to be rearranged. During this time we use the "change several bugs at once" feature to move them around, but the result is a ton of bugspam for everyone involved (except the person actually doing the changing, of course). Is there any way to easily turn off emails if many bugs are being changed at once?

  • jQuery switchClass

    Is it possible to undo a switchClass transaition? I'd like an element to slowly obtain class A as you hover over it, and slowly lose it again once the mouse has moved away. However, the function appears to be glitchy, and calling .stop(0,1) doesn't seem to help. In fact, it seems to break it. I have a live example here. Yes, it's a 404 page, but that's not important. The navigation should be slowly gaining or losing a class, but it just jumps. The script can be found here. Is such a transition possible?

    I'm using ASP.NET 4.0 Visual Studio 2010 RC version Sql Server Report Services (SSRS) ReportViewer and are aware that columns only display on PDF export - not the preview. I want to use a matrix embedded in a table on a page that has multiple columns. I've done some testing and frustratingly found that if you have a tablix with at least one grouped column (even if there is only one displayed matrix-like column group) the columns seem to be disabled. Once I remove the tablix with a grouped column from the tablix from the report the report does multiple-columns. Does anyone know a way around this?

    I'm experimenting with using cagradientlayer to draw gradients in our app instead of having a subclass of uiview manage gradients. One snafu that i've come across is that when the view that has the gradient as a sublayer of its main layer gets resized to fit the data i am trying to show, the layer doesn't resize along with it. I end up having the gradient layer end at the original frame size while my view's frame is much larger. Is there a way to have the sublayer autoresize to fit its superlayer's frame, or the superlayer's view's frame?

  • jQuery Validation plugin: disable validation for specified submit buttons when there is submitHandle

    Ok, I am using umbraco forum module, and on the comment form it uses jquery validate plugin. The problem is that I have added a search button on the same page using a UserControl, the search submit button triggers the comment form submission validation. I have done some research, and added the 'cancel' css class to the button. This bypass the first validation issue, however, it still fall into the 'submitHandler'. Have read the source code and find a way to detect whether the search button triggers the submission. however, there is not a nice way to bypass the handler. I am currently using a ugly way to do it: create javascript errors! I would like to know a nicer way to do the job. Many thanks!     I have some buttons that have drawer menus and what I'd like to do is add a state so that when the user hovers over the button, the drawer bumps out slightly (maybe with a little wiggle/rubber-banding) so that they know that there's a drawer with more information. I have the sliding working and a hover function set up, but I don't know how to implement a partial slideDown. Any ideas? FIDDLE.   • Sliding "pull-down" navigation - what do I use? How do I implement? jQuery?

    I'm new to Javascript and jQuery, but I'm learning. Here is what I'd like to accomplish: I have a row of navigation "pull-down" tabs that I'd like to animate. Some sliders will have text links to sub-pages and some will not. The bottom portion of the tab should be clickable to go to the main page. Then the sub-page, text links should also be clickable. Here is a graphic example that should make sense of what I'd like to do: http://lionheart.net/downloads/nav-example.png Mouse over, would slide it down. Mouse out, after a second, should auto-slide up. Is this possible with jQuery or something else? Thanks so much for any help you can give me!

  • simple CATextLayer scaling problem

    I'm having a simple scaling problem with CATextLayer, but i just couldn't figure it out: I want the CATextLayer to proportionally grow in size with it's superlayer: if the superlayer's width is 300 the text size of CATextLayer should be 12 and if the supeview's width is 600 the text size should be 24.     I have a login form using a UITableView. One of the cells has a UISwitch which when on will delete the row above it and when off reinsert it. But the first cell automatically has the keyboard up when the cell is created (basically when the view loads) (by using [cell becomeFirstResponder];) Inserting/deleting any of the cells means that the keyboard animates out and then animates back in. I'd like to remove this so the keyboard stays up while rows are deleted/inserted.

  • Disable Drag&Drop of files in Richtextbox in .NET

    Hello, I use a .NET richtextbox and I want to have the EnableAutoDragDrop property set to True. This allows user to drag&drop text, rtf and images around etc. However, I need to process files dropped into the richtextbox myself - I do not want them to be embedded as OLE objects when they are dropped. How can I overcome this? Is there any way to delete embedded files from richtextbox? (I've found API DragAcceptFiles which doesn't work for some reason.) Thanks!
