• is there a vba query string length limit and a way to overcome this issue?

  I am trying to combine multiple audit tables, and then filter the results into an excel sheet. The Union All and parameters make the query in excess of 1200 characters. It appears the string is truncated when running this. What recommendations can anyone make. I have no control over the database structure and am only reading foxpro free tables.   Hi! I have excel file with such contents: A1: SomeString A2: 2 All fields are set to String format. When I read file in java using poi it tells that B1 is numeric cell format. The problem is that the value in A1 can be 2 or 2.0 so I can't just use .toString(). Can anyone help please?

  Hi, I'm working on a multilingual software where I need to show synonyms of Chinese text to the user. I couldn't find any API that could give synonyms of a given Chinese word. I tried MS-Office proofing tools but they do not support thesaurus for chinese, rather they provide grammar, translation etc. Please suggest some API or workaround to show the synonyms for chinese words.

  I'm trying to display the Baseline Start, Finish, Cost, and Work values for a ResourceAssignment, but cannot seem to find any methods on the ResourceAssignment object that would provide this information. Anybody know if this is possible? I know the information is stored because I can see it in MS Project, and I can see it in the XML version of the project file. Just can't see in the API where to get access to it.

  Hi; I'm trying to create a multi-sheet excel document, and thus far I'd been doing it in PHP - but using PHPExcel was eating up 70MB of RAM for about 60,000 spreadsheet cells total. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with Spreadsheet::WriteExcel and if it has problems with creating very large documents. I'd just give it a shot but I'm very inexperienced with Perl and it could take me quite a bit of time to get this up and rolling even if for a test, and I thought someone here might have insight for me.
