  • How to use a defined struct from another source file?

    Hi, I am using Linux as my programming platform and C language as my programming language. My problem is, I define a structure in my main source file( main.c): struct test_st { int state; int status; }; So I want this structure to use in my other source file(e.g. othersrc.). Is it possible to use this structure in another source file without putting this structure in a header? Thanks

  • In Netbeans 6.8 cant find org.netbeans package

    I have netbeans 6.8 with java ME platform setup on my ubuntu 9.10. My code requires the package org.netbeans.microedition.lcdui which is either not installed or not in the path. Surprising this runs perfectly in netbeans 6.8 on windows on my friend's pc. Is there any java ME plugin I need to install? Can somebody help me out with this? Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Could someone tell me how to get the parent directory of a path in Python in a cross platform way. E.g. C:\Program Files --- C:\ and C:\ --- C:\ If the directory doesn't have a parent directory, it returns the directory itself. The question might seem simple but I couldn't dig it up through Google.     httpd = make_server('', 80, server) webbrowser.open(url) httpd.serve_forever() This works cross platform except when I launch it on a putty ssh terminal. How can i trick the console in opening the w3m browser in a separate process so it can continue to launch the server? Or if it is not possible to skip webbrowser.open when running on a shell without x?

    I have heard positive things about Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform) - does Microsoft has similar plugin UI framework available? I found an article from the Eclipse.org marketing director where he states: "An organization that is 100% Microsoft probably won't/shouldn't consider Eclipse RCP." A colleague pointed out that this article was posted in 2005, so i was wondering if Microsoft has a competing product by now, and if not, why not?

    I really like how Lifehacker.com (and Gawker.com) implements their comment system. I believe, but am not certain, they use Movable Type as the platform for their blog. What I like about their comment system is that it's a simple open text field and once you click "Share" it then asks you to register. Question: Anyone know how to accomplish this same functionality with either Wordpress or Movable Type?

  • Usb Driver on 64bit Windows

    I have a pretty generic 64bit driver based on bulkusb.sys in WDK. It's been working for years with an embedded program, but now it is needed to work on Vista 64. From all the documentation I've tried to look through there doesn't seem to be anything affecting it, except compiling it for the 64bit environment, and yet when I compile it with the AMD64 build environment, I get "driver not intended for this platform" error message when it's trying to open the sys. What could be the solution for this?

I used the configuration manager to change the project to x64, then I tried to rebuild the project. the result was "unresolved external symbol" for many MFC function.
