  Hi, I'm having an issue with my sqlservr.exe which is always reading the SBSMonitoring.mdf, around 50MB/sec. I saw that in Reliability and Performance mmc. I don't think my hard drive love it... and it slows down my server. We have a SBS 2008. I found nothing about it, help me please :) Thanks.

  In the Event Viewer: Source: Application Error Category: 100 Event ID: 1000 Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.3959, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4480, fault address 0x000000000000dd50. This error is happening on my background-app server (not web server). It's happening every 3-5 minutes. What's the problem in laymen's terms? • Vimperator on Windows: how do I suppress the cmd.exe window on launching external editor

  In Vimperator, when I hit Ctrl + i to launch my external editor, a cmd.exe window is also popped open. Is there a way to suppress this window? It's not a huge problem, but it usually opens right over the page I've just invoked the editor from, which means I have to use the mouse to move it, should I need to refer to the page.

  I can't use the ia64-version of devcon.exe on my Windows7 professional x64 (AMD CPU). error message tells me, that the version of this applcation is not suitable for this version of windows and I should check whether I need to use a x64 or x86 version of this application.   The installer is not working for my ATI mobility Radeon HD 3670 on Dell XPS Studio 16 using Windows 8 PRO 64 bits.   I use a custom logon shell on a machine (windows 7) for security reasons - which works fine by altering HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\shell. However, I also want that the administrator will still be able to manage the machine, so I modified the user specific key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\shell back to explorer.exe - but when I log on I get a single windows explorer window, and not the full desktop. does any one know how to configure the normal desktop shell only to a specific user?
