I have four columns in datasource i.e. name, id, address, phno. I want to fetch an address of a person who selects some value from ddl.

  • What variable dictates position of non-focused elements in the roundabout plugin?

    Part of the problem here is that i'm not sure what the best language to use in order to find the solution. I search and searched so please forgive if this is already a thread somewhere. I'm using the roundabout plugin to cycle through 3 divs. Each div is 794px wide, which makes the roundabout-in-focus element 794 and the two not in focus 315.218px wide, positioned so half of each is hidden by the in-focus div. This is all well and good, however the total width of the display needs to stay within 1000px (ideally 980px, but i can fudge if need be.) Basically I want to make the non-focused divs be 3/4 hidden by the in-focus div but for the life of me can't figure out what variables i need to edit in order to do it. Unfortunately it's not one of the many easily-changed options like z-index and minScale. i tried minScale but it's clear this isn't going to work. the plugin outputs this code: <li class="roundabout-moveable-item" style="position: absolute; left: -57px; top: 205px; width: 319.982px; height: 149.513px; opacity: 0.7; z-index: 146; font-size: 5.6px;"> i need to find out what changes the left positioning so it's shifted closer to the center of the stage, like this: <li class="roundabout-moveable-item" style="position: absolute; left: 5px; top: 205px; width: 319.982px; height: 149.513px; opacity: 0.7; z-index: 146; font-size: 5.6px;"> i tried playing with the positioning functions of the plugin but all that did was shift everything in tandem left or right. any help is greatly appreciated. this site is going to be awesome once i figure out all this jquery stuff! here is a link to my .js file: http://avalon.eaw.com/scripts/jquery.roundabout2.js i've got an overflow:hidden on the to help guide the positioning of those no-focused items.

    Hey guys here is my code (roughly): books.html.erb <% @books.each do |book| %> <% @bookid = book.id %> <div id="enter_stuff"> <%= render "input", :bookid => @bookid %> </div> <%end%> _input.html.erb <% @book = Book.find_by_id(@bookid) %> <strong>your book is: <%=h @book.name %></strong> create.rjs page.replace_html :enter_stuff, :partial => 'input2', :object => @bookid Only create.js doesn't seem to work though, if instead of passing the partial I passed "..." it does work, so I know its that there are instance variables in the partial that aren't being reset. Any ideas?

  • Is it possible to raise an error if a variable assignment in a select returns multiple values?

    I just found a bug on one of my softwares where I had forgotten a where clause. The code was something like that : declare @foo bigint declare @bar bigint select @foo = foo, @bar=bar from tbFooBar where (....a long list of condition goes there) (... and an extra condition should have went there but I forgot it) Unfortunately, the where clause I forgot was useful in very specific corner cases and the code went through testing successfully. Eventually, the query returned two values instead of one, and the resulting bug was a nightmare to track down (as it was very difficult to reproduce, and it wasn't obvious at all that this specific stored procedure was causing the issue we spotted) Debugging would have been a lot easier if the @foo=foo had raised an exception instead of silently assigning the first value out of multiple rows. Why is that this way? I can't think of a situation where one would actually want to do that without raising an error (bearing in mind the clauses 'distinct' and 'top' are there for a reason) And is there a way to make sql server 2008 raise an error if this situation occurs ?

    I am creating a dynamic grid which is created by selecting the format defined in the below XML.My select list includes all columns in this XML,I want to position these columns columns on the basic of position attribute in XML. <gridFormat> <column property="CustomerID" dbName="CustName" HeaderText="Customer" IsVisible="0" Position="1" /> <column property="CustomerName" dbName="FacilityName" HeaderText="Facility" IsVisible="1" Position="3" /> <column property="FacilityInternalID" dbName="Pname" HeaderText="Patient" IsVisible="1" Position="2" /> </gridFormat> I cannot select them in the order specified by the position attribute. I can do it in C# by looping around the returned datatable and specifically position columns using datatable.columns.setordinal() method. Is there any better way in SQL or C# to accomplish this.

But unfortunately each row has different number of column. because of which when i try to use file_content = load('txtfile.txt'); it gives me error message that previous number of columns does not match. i also tried to use fgetl, fscanf, etc function but was unsuccessful. Can anybody give me a piece of code, or help me how to read a txt file and save in matrix in matlab.   • [Android] How do I load URL that requires login into variable?

    I am trying to port my usage meter from a JavaScript Gadget (win) / Widget (OSX) to Android. Total newbie when comes to JAVA + Eclipse + Android 2.1 SDK. Essentially what I want to do is load a page, pass through a username and password and load the resulting page into a array that I can then run some regular expressions through. This is true for even void*. For some reasons. I need to ensure that these sizes all are same on every machine(64bit & 32bit). So, how should I modify these ?

    I can do request.path_parameters['controller'] and request.path_parameters['action'], but is there anything like request.path_parameters['template'] so I can discern which template file (such as index.html.erb) is being rendered?     I am using an if statement to check the value of a BOOLEAN when i click on a button. When the button is clicked if the value is false i want to display a UIActivityIndicator and if the value is true i want to push the new view. I can do this fine but i want the view to change automatically when the BOOLEAN Becomes true if the user has already clicked the button. So my question is how do you check to see if a value has changed everysecond or less?

    Hello, I'm relatively new to C, and this is baffling me right now. It's part of a much larger program, but I've written this little program to depict the problem I'm having. #include <stdio.h> int main() { signed int tcodes[3][1]; tcodes[0][0] = 0; tcodes[0][1] = 1000; tcodes[1][0] = 1000; tcodes[1][1] = 0; tcodes[2][0] = 0; tcodes[2][1] = 1000; tcodes[3][0] = 1000; tcodes[3][1] = 0; int x, y, c; for(c = 0; c <= 3; c++) { printf("%d %d %d\r\n", c, tcodes[c][0], tcodes[c][1]); x = 20; y = 30; } } I'd expect this program to output: 0 0 1000 1 1000 0 2 0 1000 3 1000 0 But instead, I get: 0 0 1000 1 1000 0 2 0 20 3 20 30 It does this for any number assigned to x and y. For some reason x and y are overriding parts of the array in memory. Can someone explain what's going on? Thanks!

(code: 3) so, there are two errors. i'm pretty sure if the renaming works, i won't even need the mkdir, but who knows... can anyone tell me why these are errors and how to fix them? thanks!

This is what tried, which is a useful pseudo code: for i in {1..100} ; do awk -F "," " { printf \"%3d, %12.3f, %12.3f\\n\", \$1, \$($i+1), \$($i+3) } " All_Runs.csv > Run-$i.csv which, obviously doesn't work (but it seemed reasonable to hope). How can I do this?
