Majority query on this table - searching documents similar to current document: select 10 documents with maximum of (count common to current document value)/(count ov values in document). Nowadays we use PostgreSQL. Table weight (with index) ~1,5 GB. Average query time ~0.5s. Should I transfer all this to NoSQL base, if so, what?

    Does anyone know of a .NET API (source-code is preferrable of course) that I can access all the common chat clients thru it (GT, Yahoo, MSN, AIM, FB, ICQ, SKYPE and more)?   • Domain policy template won't show any controls

The problem is that it adds in nicely with the group policy editor and i can see it's Catogary under administrative controls but it doesn't show any controls for user input. What am i doing wrong here?     Project Output Path of the the main application is set to ......\bin\Release\ and was published flawlessly by ClickOnce before. Now I am nearly certain that the only process accessing this file is from code that I have written and I've been careful to use a using statement around accessing it. But to be 100% sure, is there anyway to check this programatically when this error occurs?

    hi, i am looking for a way to implement the "gcd" function used in matlab in another language but i really cant understand the way it functions. it says in http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/ref/gcd.html that: "[G,C,D] = gcd(A,B) returns both the greatest common divisor array G, and the arrays C and D, which satisfy the equation: A(i).*C(i) + B(i).*D(i) = G(i)." but it says nothing about how it calculates C and D. i would be grateful if someone has a clearer idea about this subject! thanks:)

    I was used to the traditional way of doing database searching with the following using wildcards for term searches using where clause for specific data like addresses and names but at other times, I found these common methods to produce code that is so bloated, especially when it comes to complex searches. Are there algorithms out there that you use for complex database searching? I tried to look for some but had a hard time doing so. I stumbled accross the binary search but I can't find a use for it :(

    I'm trying to use APC (Alternative PHP Cache) on my localhost with wamp 2, PHP 5.3 and CodeIgniter 1.7.2, however If I turn on cache_by_default and enable apc.stat the server will crash and I get the following error: [apc-error] Cannot redeclare class ci_benchmark in C:\wamp\www\k\mvc\codeigniter\Common.php on line 127.
