  • Batch adding attribute to attribute sets

    I have a Magento installation with around 60 attribute sets. I need to add a new attribute to each of the attribute sets. There doesn't seem to anyway of doing this in the admin control panel. I am sure I can work it out by manually entering the correct fields into the database, but is there a way of doing this through the API or through the Import / Export profiles? Any suggestions would be gladly received.

    I am calling three functions in my code where i want to validate some of my fields. When I tries to work with the code given below. It checks only for first value until it gets false result. I want some thing like that if fisrt function returns true then it should also call next function and so on.     Is it possible to use pure Encrypting and Decrypting keys instead of private and public keys? As I know in .Net asymmetric RSA implementation private key RSAParameters parameters = (new RSACryptoServiceProvider()).ExportParameters(true) is a superset of public key. And using private key we can both encrypt and decrypt our data. But I need key only for decrypting data. How to do it? I experimented on nulling RSAParameters fields, but RSACryptoServiceProvider object can't import such parameters.

When account references another object with properties the following used to work. =Fields!Account.Value.Name (Name is a property of the child object, Account is the parent object) The same expression syntax no longer works.     I am currently upgrading our software to support ipv6 and in the meantime I'm expanding hostname/ip fields to the max hostname size. In sun documentation it seems like this can be up to 1025 (netdb.h:#define NI_MAXHOST 1025 - this is the recommended hostname allocation define), but when I pass a hostname of over 255 to getaddrinfo I get "getaddrinfo failed: memory allocation failure". I am testing on a Sol10 box. Ideas?

I am using the slider to filter the results, but I need to set the minimum and maximum prices from the records in my database. Should I just generate (with php) hidden fields in my html that contain the minimum and maximum and then use jQuery to obtain them? Or is there a better way of achieving this, maybe using AJAX? What I need is a update statement that remove the ending zeros of fields like 2.0 , 12.0 , change them to their integer representation , that is 2 , 12 ...,and leave 3.45 , 67.50 unchanged .
