    I've written an Html Helper called DetailsForm to reduce repetition when displaying fields in a view. Within a view - actually a partial view, ascx file - I can refer to it like this: Storyboard.Helpers.DetailsForm.LabelAndData(Html, m => m.id) But would like to refer to it like this: LabelAndData(Html, m => m.id) A 'using' directive doesn't seem to be allowed in the ascx file. Is there an equivalent?

The user opening the word document does not have admin rights and the AccessVBOM flag is either not available or set to zero. I'm using the "struct" library to do the broad unpacking, but is there a simple way to say "Grab the next 13 bits" rather than have to hand-tweak the bit manipulation?     If you had two databases, that had two tables between them that would normally implement a one to one (or many to many) constraint but cannot since they are separate databases, how would you validate this relationship in an application or test? Is there a simple way to do this? For example, a tool or technique that can, given a constraint type, tables and fields, does the validation.     Hi. I've got form for some model A, which has got few fields: tile description ... colors colors are selected from multiple select and options are ['red', 'green', 'blue', 'yellow']. User can choose colors as many as he wants. I don't think that making Color model and has_many relationship is good solution here to store colors data in model A. So question is: How to store multiple data in db for such multiple select forms?

    Hey all, I am trying to put together a query that will display one specific record (found by the record's primary ID) at the top, and display all other records below it, sorted by date (I have "date_added" as one of the fields in the table, in addition to primary ID). I could do this with a UNION (first select would locate the record I want, and the other select would display all other records), but I'm wondering if is there perhaps a better way? I'm using Oracle, by the way.
