  • Using Interface Builder tags

    I'm using interface builder's tag feature to access some UILabels I'm instantiating in a xib file. Since this a UITextViewCell I want to avoid superfluous method calls, but I want to do it right too. Thus when I do: UILabel *label = (UILabel *)[cell viewWithTag:1]; I'm wondering if I should wrap it up like so: if([[cell viewWithTag:1] isKindOfClass [UITableViewCell class]]) { UILabel *label = (UILabel *)[cell viewWithTag:1]; } Any discussion on this would be appreciated.   • Complex jquery selction that also involves custom xml tags

    I want to write a select something like... #window_4 > content > p:eq(0) I think I have this correct, but I have a few selectors that are all similar but I can't test them all at once. Am I right in saying this is selecting an element, who is the fist p tag child of a content tag that is a child of a tag with id 'window_4' If I have gotten this wrong, can you give me some pointers. Would love to be able to simplify this code, I have more code selecting the tag I am after then actually doing stuff with them.

    I want to remove all html content from a string except for a div class : <div class="toto">blablabla</div> Should I use a Regex or DOM Parser? To answer drachenstern : It's a comment content with bbcode. And the html in this div is generated with Geshi (code highlighter) so i don't want to delete this. For example a visitor can enter <script></script> in a [code][/code] bbcode tag. All HTML outside the [code][/code] bbcode tag must be delete no?

    I am looking for a place where I can download a bunch of CSS stylesheets to change the appearance of my titles, links, paragraphs, etc. I am not an artist, so I am hoping to leverage other people's skills in choosing the right fonts, colors, sizes, etc. I do not want to include layout because then it won't be as generic. Is it supposed to generate some data structure using all the css styles on a page and use that for rendering? Or does it render using style information in the order it sees?

  • How do .so files avoid problems associated with passing header-only templates like MS dll files have?

    Based on the discussion around this question. I'd like to know how .so files/the ELF format/the gcc toolchain avoid problems passing classes defined purely in header files (like the std library). According to Jan in that answer, the dynamic linker/loader only picks one version of such a class to load if its defined in two .so files. So if two .so files have two definitions, perhaps with different compiler options/etc, the dynamic linker can pick one to use. Is this correct? How does this work with inlining? For example, MSVC inlines templates aggressively. This makes the solution I describe above untenable for dlls. Does Gcc never inline header-only templates like the std library as MSVC does? If so wouldn't that make the functionality of ELF described above ineffective in these cases?

    I have a table in my markup on which I want to add some divs before and efter like this: <div class="widebox"> <div class="widebox-header">Opret/rediger bruger</div> <div class="widebox-middle"> <table id="Table3"></table> </div> <div class="widebox-bottom"></div> </div> I'm trying to do this with jQuery, like this: $('#Table3').before('<div class="widebox"><div class="widebox-header">Opret/rediger bruger</div><div class="widebox-middle">'); $('#Table3').after('</div><div class="widebox-bottom"></div></div>'); However this is what renders out, the method seems to close my opening divs: <div class="widebox"> <div class="widebox-header">Opret/rediger bruger</div> <div class="widebox-middle"></div></div><!-- unexpected close divs --> <table id="Table3"></table> <div class="widebox-bottom"></div> Anyone know what could be causing this?

    So I'm writing an app that lets the user select a folder, it gets all the .aspx files in that folder, and lets the users check off which ones they want to add HTML ID's to. Then they click start, and this runs private void btnStart_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { for (int i = 0; i < listFiles.CheckedItems.Count; i++) { } } It loops through all the selected file names. How do I open each of these .aspx files in the background, and go through them and add the id="thisItemId" attribute to each tag that's like a , , , , , etc....

  • Writing html tags in GWT client side

    I have this code in my gwt client side: String out = result.getConsoleOutput().replaceAll("\n", "<br/>"); transOut.getElement().setInnerText(out); Basically what comes out of consoleoutput() is text from a telnet client and transOut is a HTMLPanel in a UiBinder. I want it to show up pretty so I tried to change all the \n to html , but when it shows up in firefox it looks like this on screen blah blahblah blah.... I am guessing gwt escapes the text somewhere how can I get it to write the real tag.

    Hello, I'm creating a new WP theme and I would like to allow the user to insert a divider in between paragraphs or images he/she is entering, for a post/page. I want the output to be something like: <div class="divider"></div> But I don't want the user to have to enter HTML in the WYSIWYG editor. Is it possible to ask them to enter something like: <-- break --> and then translate that to the div markup on display? Thanks.

I've managed to connect to a class without any issues, but what I really want to do is connect to a property of the main window.     I have multiple comment ids I want to reset to a default value. Ex: <a id="comments_inner_toggle_45">example 1</a> <a id="comments_inner_toggle_608">example 2</a> <a id="comments_inner_toggle_28">example 3</a> ... How can I write the correct tag in jQuery to select every tag with an id of "comments_inner_toggle_" and perform some operation on it? I think it's something similar to: $('a[id|=comments_inner_toggle_]').whatever This is wrong however because the code above will only match the tag with "comments_inner_toggle_" and not with a number appended at the end. How can I fix this? thanks for the help! :)

  • Where is the best place to find stock website templates?

    I think I'm in the majority of programmers in saying I can't do visual design for s***. But I do write programs occasionally, and I'd like to have a nice website to tell people about said programs. I used to use a site called "OSWD" to find templates, but it's been forever since it's been looked at, and most of the designs seem overly specifically tailored to a single kind of site -- for example, a site featuring a large picture of an ice cube wouldn't make much sense for a site displaying software for people to use. I know there are plenty of template sites out there which have freely available designs, but I'm not sure which ones are good, and which ones are garbage. Where is the best place to find website templates?

Scenario 1 Lets say I create a gradient brush, like this in my <Window.Resources> section: <LinearGradientBrush x:Key="GridRowSelectedBackBrushGradient" StartPoint="0,0" EndPoint="0,1"> <GradientStop Color="#404040" Offset="0.0" /> <GradientStop Color="#404040" Offset="0.5" /> <GradientStop Color="#000000" Offset="0.6" /> <GradientStop Color="#000000" Offset="1.0" /> </LinearGradientBrush> Then much later on, I want to override the HighlightBrushKey for a DataGrid. I have basically done it like this (horrible); <LinearGradientBrush x:Key="{x:Static SystemColors.HighlightBrushKey}" GradientStops="{Binding Source={StaticResource GridRowSelectedBackBrushGradient}, Path=GradientStops}" StartPoint="{Binding Source={StaticResource GridRowSelectedBackBrushGradient}, Path=StartPoint}" EndPoint="{Binding Source={StaticResource GridRowSelectedBackBrushGradient}, Path=EndPoint}" /> This is obviously not the most slick way of referencing a resource. I also came up with the following problem, which is almost identical. Scenario 2 Say I created two colors in my <Window.Resources> markup, like so: <SolidColorBrush x:Key="DataGridRowBackgroundBrush" Color="#EAF2FB" /> <SolidColorBrush x:Key="DataGridRowBackgroundAltBrush" Color="#FFFFFF" /> Then later on, I want to supply them in an Array, which feeds the ConverterParameter on a Binding so I can supply the custom Converter with my static resource instances: <Setter Property="Background"> <Setter.Value> <Binding RelativeSource="{RelativeSource Mode=Self}" Converter="{StaticResource BackgroundBrushConverter}"> <Binding.ConverterParameter> <x:Array Type="{x:Type Brush}"> <SolidColorBrush Color="{Binding Source={StaticResource DataGridRowBackgroundBrush}, Path=Color}" /> <SolidColorBrush Color="{Binding Source={StaticResource DataGridRowBackgroundAltBrush}, Path=Color}" /> </x:Array> </Binding.ConverterParameter> </Binding> </Setter.Value> </Setter> What I've done is attempt to rereference an existing resource, but in my efforts I've actually recreated the resource, and bound the properties so they match.     phpQuery is a really nice tool which has helped me tremendously in the past parse well-formed XHTML and XML documents, but I have recently run into a problem trying to select elements that have colons in their tagname, such as the following: <isc:thumb><![CDATA[http://example.com/foo_thumb.jpg]]></isc:thumb> I've tried to use the pq() function to select all of these elements: foreach ( pq("isc:thumb") as $thumbnail ) { print pq( $thumbnail )->text(); } Unfortunately this is doing nothing. If I try another element, like a tagname of id, the results pop up as expected.

  • TeamCity Mercurial, How to handle tags and releases

    Hi First off, i'm new to Teamcity comming from CC. I have a server up and running and building my projects, so far so good :). My problem is this: Whenever I make a Mercurial Tag, I would like TeamCity to react in a special way, so that the resulting binaries/artifacts from the Tag build, are made avaliable for download (automatic release when tagging). In short can I do automated release so that when I create a Tag AND it builds successfully then the result is copied to some location X, but ONLY when I Tag. Im pretty sure that this can be done, but when I read the posts around the net and read the documentation, I tend to get a little confused about artifacts/build scripts/publishing and how to do it. Can anyone give me some hints about where/how to start or guide me to a location with a tutorial/example of how to do this? I want it soooooo bad :-D. Kind regards
