    This is a general question, but I'll explain my specific need at the moment: I want to find the framework class that enables one to choose an image at design-time. I can find the editor that is used at run-time - its the Drawing.Design.ImageEditor. At design time, however, a different editor pops up which allows one to choose an image from resources. I'm guessing I could run some kind of program, then open up the image editor, from the property grid, and see what new windows/classes have been created? Thanks

  • Efficient code to avoid circular references in c# object model

    I have an excel like grid where values can be typed referencing other rows To check for circular references when a new value is entered, i traverse the tree and create a list of values referenced thus far, if the current value is found in this list, i return an error thus avoiding a circular reference. This is infrequent enough where extreme performance is not an issue but... Question - is there a better way ? I'm told it's not the most optimal but no answer was provided so on to the experts @ SO :)

Inside the generic.xaml file is a simple Grid with 2 rows: Row 1 - A toggle button Row 2 - A StackPanel with a TextBlock, named "Stackpanel1" The ToggleButton has its own nested ControlTemplate which has VisualStates for Checked/Unchecked.   • issue with wpf datagrid cell style when scrolling

    Hi I created a new DataGridCell style for my wpf datagrid (Red Border brush). When I scroll down vertically the selected cells disappear which is ok. When I scroll up I see the selected cells but few of them missing their style and it appear in wrong cells. It look like the data grid remember the selected cells but "forget" their style. Any idea? haim

  • WP7 silverlight custom control using popup

    Hi guys, I'm creating a custom datepicker, I have a textbox, once clicked it opens a calendar within a popup. What I want to do is change the size of the popup so it shows my whole calendar, but I can't manage to change it..., I've tried using Height, Width, MinHeight, MinWidth... but it doesn't work, the popup keep showing with a fixed size. The thing is that my popup's parent property isn't evaluated since it has expression issues (according to debugger), so I'm sure my popup's parent isn't the main screen( say layout grid). How can I for example make my popup open within a specific context ?     Using winforms in vs2008. I have a DataGridView and I would like to detect when the vertical scroll bar is visible. What event should I register for? I am adding the summing the each cell value in the last column of the grid and displaying that value in a textbox at the bottom of the DataGridView. I would like this textbox to stay lined up with the cell values (I have made them right aligned since it is $$ values) even after the scroll bar is present.

  • M-V-VM, isn't the Model leaking into the View?

    The point of M-V-VM as we all know is about speraration of concerns. In patterns like MVVM, MVC or MVP, the main purpose is to decouple the View from the Data thereby building more flexible components. I'll demonstrate first a very common scenario found in many WPF apps, and then I'll make my point: Say we have some StockQuote application that streams a bunch of quotes and displays them on screen.     I'd like to implement a custom command to capture a Backspace key gesture inside of a textbox, but I don't know how. I wrote a test program in order to understand what's going on, but the behaviour of the program is rather confusing. Basically, I just need to be able to handle the Backspace key gesture via wpf commands while keyboard focus is in the textbox, and without disrupting the normal behaviour of the Backspace key within the textbox.     I can't find anything like that. Commercial or free ( XSQL Lite is suitable for my case and ) tools show diffs in grids with possibility to export to CSV. Also they generate sync SQL scripts when run from command line. What I need is an output as a comprehensive report ( XML , HTML ) suitable for parsing so that I would be able to show similar diff grid in my application ( updated old/new values for each column , added - all values for row , deleted - all values for row and etc... ) .

  • jqGrid error when setting width using new API

    I'm using the new API to set the width of my jqGrid like this: $('#grid').jqGrid('setGridWidth', $(window).width() * 0.98); The problem is that in IE7 I'm getting this error: 'p.cellLayout' is null or not an object This only happens in IE7 (IE8, Firefox and Chrome work fine). Has anybody else encounter this problem and fixed it?
