• How can I test email generating without creating and checking 1,000 addresses?

  I am working on generating emails using Java. I would love to use some sort of system where I can send out mass emails and ensure that the emails were received by the intended recipient (A. My code to send the emails worked and B.The emails were not marked as spam). How can I do this without setting up (and keeping track of) a couple hundred email addresses and then checking each one individually? Thanks!

  Akamai is way too expensive. Photobucket is not reliable. Is there a great content delivery network that I can use just to host my images? We deploy images programmatically via FTP, so there is some programming behind the scenes. Having some sort of reporting about the reliability of the service, whether it's raw logs files or a web-based admin screen that shows http errors, would also be important. Has anyone worked with edgecast?

NSWorkspace returns me a list of active applications and i can sort them on a few options using NSRunningApplication. see list below: launchDate finishedLaunching processIdentifier i dont want the lauch date but the recent 'active' date (like the way cmd-tab sorts).   What are some non commercial deployment tools that allows a developer to speficy: a branch/tag, a revision and a target machine to deploy code to? I was wondering if there's a ccnet plugin of some sort that would allow the above to be specified. I know this could be done with a NAnt deploy script. However considering we're mostly using gui tools for feedback, plus the tortoise svn repository browser, it be cool to lear if there's an GUI simple GUI tool/plugin cheers.

  If you have a C++ project that has a bunch of .ODL files and the generated .h files from the ODL compiler, should doxygen be told to parse both .odl and .h, or only one or the other? In general I don't like documenting generated code but IDL is sort of a special case. In any case, it seems like the member listing of ODL files is not quite working properly in my tests, are ODL files properly parsed?

  I'm looking at the possibility of using Android as a secure corporate mobile platform. One of the pre-requisites for this will be a way of managing multiple devices, security policies, software deployment, that sort of thing - essentially the things the BlackBerry Enterprise Server handles for BlackBerry or MDM (or something 3rd party like SOTI) handles for Windows Mobile. Does such a thing exist for Android? It's a platform we're interested in but without this right now (and we're not in a position to build it ourselves) it's a non-starter.

  I am just wondering if you are supposed to write a sort of really secure application with data being transmitted over insecure networks, what kind of encryption algorithm will you use it in order to make it safe ? I know several c++ libraries for encryption providing nice functions with different algorithms, but i'm not quite sure which cipher to use - AES, DES, RSA, Blowfish or maybe something more different ?   In SharePoint 2010 when you hover over a column heading (i.e. to sort) in a list table, you get a hover effect, how can you supress / change this? I can see it uses OnChildColumn(this), so is there a way to modify this - either preventing the effect (e.g. when sorting can't be done on a column), or using a different background image? Also want to do the same when you hover over a cell in any of the list table's contents.
