  • How to get/obtain Variables from URL in Flash AS3

    So I have a URL that I need my Flash movie to extract variables from: example link: http://www.example.com/example_xml.php?aID=1234&bID=5678 I need to get the aID and the bID numbers. I'm able to get the full URL into a String via ExternalInterface var url:String = ExternalInterface.call("window.location.href.toString"); if (url) testField.text = url; Just unsure as how to manipulate the String to just get the 1234 and 5678 numbers. Appreciate any tips, links or help with this!

I searched for Team Explorer and I found this link that states that Team Explorer comes preinstalled in VS2010 Team Suit.   • Uiwebview refreshes after zoom and pinch

    Hello, I have a uiwebview in my App. So far everything works fine, but when i zoom in or out for example the uiwebview refreshes the loaded page and then scrolls and zooms to the new page location and size. So the zooming works good, but I don't want the user to see the refresh and repositioning of the website. Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks for any tips!

  • Integrating OpenID into Symfony 1.4?

    I've tried integrating sfPHPOpenIdPlugin but that hit a dead-end since it's built for Symfony 1.2 and relies on deprecated PHP functionality; I also had a go with sfGoogleLoginPlugin which did authenticate correctly but lacks extended capability to retrieve user details (+ would restrict me to Google; obviously). I'm thinking the most viable solution is to link in one of the various PHP libraries available into my model. I'm wondering if anyone else has had any success/tips with such an integration and what libraries to consider?

    I want to use a variable in a regex, like this: variables = ['variableA','variableB'] for i in range(len(variables)): regex = r"'('+variables[i]+')[:|=|\(](-?\d+(?:\.\d+)?)(?:\))?'" pattern_variable = re.compile(regex) match = re.search(pattern_variable, line) The problem is that python adds an extra backslash character for each backslash character in my regex string (ipython), and makes my regex invalid: In [76]: regex Out[76]: "'('+variables[i]+')[:|=|\\(](-?\\d+(?:\\.\\d+)?)(?:\\))?'" Any tips on how I can avoid this?

  • Optimizing UITableView

    I have a UITableview made up with a custom cell loaded from a nib. This custom cell has 9 UILabel s and thats all. When scrolling the table on my iPhone the tables scrolling motion is slightly jerky, its not as smooth as other tableviews! (On the simulator it scrolls fine but I guess its using the extra power of my mac) Are there any tips to help optimize this or any tableview or methods to help find the bottleneck. Many Thanks

    Hi, How can I do long-polling using netty framework? Say for example I fetch http://localhost/waitforx but waitforx is asynchronous because it has to wait for an event? Say for example it fetches something from a blocking queue(can only fetch when data in queue). When getting item from queue I would like to sent data back to client.     I have a set of 10 navigationViewControllers i want to the UITabBarController this all just works fine except the fact when i want to see a UINavigationController that is in the "more" tab it doesn't switch to it. it does nothing. if i change that to a UIViewController it just works fine .. ok in the more tab you automatically have a UINavigationController to you disposal but if the user switches the tab's order and its not anymore in the "more" tab you don't have a UINavigationController .. any tips ?

  • Using tramp with EmacsW32 and cygwin, possible?

    Hi, I have some trouble setting up Tramp with EmacsW32 and cygwin. I have configured emacs to use cygwin as shell using w32shell. I also set the HOME enviromental variable to c:/cygwin/home/myusername Problem is that tramp seems to hang and that no connection is made: "Tramp waiting for prompts for the new shell". I have tried to turn on debugging, but still only see this message. Looking forward to get some tips on this. Thank you.
