  • Recursively getting files in a directory with several sub-directories

    Hello! I was wondering if anybody here could help me out as I'm still very new to C#. I have a drive with folders w/in folders w/in folders that all contain files. Is there a way to recursively loop through the files and gather up all of these file names into a .txt file? I'm not sure how to implement this into my Console app--so does anybody have any code that might help?

  • Sharing Eclipse directory on Dropbox between Windows and Mac OS X

    This question was close to mine, but not quite. I have a Windows desktop and a MacBook Pro. I'd like to be able to keep my Eclipse workspace in my Dropbox folder. The problem is that many project settings change between platforms: references to JREs, JDKs, and other libs. Every discussion I've seen of this problem seems to suggest taking advantage of the source control system's ignore functionality, so that such-and-such file remains local-only and thus able to remain platform-specific. But when you're working with a real single shared folder, that class of solution doesn't apply. Have you had luck working with a Java Eclipse project living in a single folder shared over the network, cross-platform?

Now I need a unique zip and then after unzip it I want to see this structure: - Site 1 --- public - Site 2 --- public - others Any suggestion how I can do that with linux commands zip/tar ?   • Clone submodule into directory

    I'm having an issue with creating a submodule in my project. If I create the submodule directly in the repository root, everything works fine. If the submodule is any deeper, the repository does not get cloned. For example, this works as expected: git submodule add git://someproject.com/.git someproject However, when I run the following command, the project is added to .gitmodules and an empty repository is created, but no code is pulled down (even after a git submodule update --init). The command does not produce any output. git submodule add git://someproject.com/.git lib/someproject

    Hello, I have some troubles with jQuery. I have a set of Divs with .square classes. Only one of them is supposed to have an .active class. This .active class may be activated/de-activated onClick. Here is my code : jQuery().ready(function() { $(".square").not(".active").click(function() { //initialize $('.square').removeClass('active'); //activation $(this).addClass('active'); // some action here... }); $('.square.active').click(function() { $(this).removeClass('active'); }); }); My problem is that the first function si called, even if I click on an active .square, as if the selector was not working.   • Can't get directory listing on my Apache to work.

    Hi, I'm having trouble enabling the directory listing on apache. I did it a few weeks ago but had to reinstall cause my Wubi ran out of space, and now I can't get it to work and it's driving me crazy. I have a folder /home/joon/Dropbox/Projects/apache, which I want to set as the root for my apache. Here's the first lines of the 'default' file in the sites-available folder: <VirtualHost *:8888> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost DocumentRoot /home/joon/Dropbox/Projects/apache <Directory /home/joon/Dropbox/Projects/apache> Options +Indexes FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None The rest is unchanged. Ports.conf is set to Listen 8888. I thought the +Indexes should do it, but I must have overlooked something. I get a 403, forbidden. "You don't have permission to access / on this server." If I input the url of an image, http://127.0.0.1:8888/joon/bin/1chart.png, it displays, but no directory listing. Please help.

    I have a save-plots function which I call it in my final command of behavior space to export selected plots, I could create unique names for plots so they don't replace each other, for example my output file name for one of the plots is like this: DeathRates, PS true, HCHA false 100,true.csv Let FileNameDeathRates ( word "D: /Results/" "DeathRates, " "PS "PS? ", HCHA " HCHA? MPS "," CV? ".csv" ) So far is good, but I want is to have a directory with name of the experiment and export all plots of that experiment in that directory for example: Let DirName( word "D:/Results/" "PS "PS? ", HCHA " HCHA? MPS "," CV? ) Netlogo already exports plots with proper name and I just want the directory name to be different , and of course prior to the experiment the directory does not exist so the directory should be created first , I could not find a command to create a directory in netlogo without pathdir extension.     Believe it or not, I'm not too happy with Ubuntu. Well, let me rephrase that. I like it, but the only thing I don't like about it is that it's too much of a hassle to get a game to work. I'm trying to install Windows 7 with a 4GB flash drive, but my error that comes up is that my hard drive I'm trying to install on is in ext4. I need to format it to read NTFS. I can't seem to find any topics on how to format an active hard drive. I found a topic that explains how to move Ubuntu to a new drive, but it's a bit confusing to me. Please help!     I have a small ARM box running ownCloud in my house, and a domain bound to my DSL router with Dynamic DNS. This works well as I can configure the ownCloud client to use the domain name, which works both in the house and when I'm on the road. However, at home I would like to let my laptop and my server talk to each other directly on the local network, rather than as if they were talking over the Internet (including DNS resolution for my domain name, routing all traffic through the DSL machinery etc.). I know that I can set a hostname alias for my domain in /etc/hosts - the problem is that I want this alias to only be active when I'm in the home network, while in all other cases DNS resolution should be used as normal. Is this possible?

  • Where's My Windows Azure Subscriptions

I checked the website for those missed cloud service and they are still live. Then I checked my billing history but didn't found any problem. When I back to the portal I found that all of those resource are under my MSDN subscription. So I remembered that if this is related with the recently Windows Azure platform update.   This feature named "Enterprise Management", which provides the ability to manage your organization in a directory which is hosted entirely in the cloud, or alternatively kept in sync with an on-premises Windows Server Active Directory solution. By default, all existing windows azure account would have a default Windows Azure Active Directory (a.k.a. WAAD) associated. In the address bar I can find the default login WAAD of my account, which is "microsoft.onmicrosoft.com". To change the WAAD we can click "subscriptions" on top of the manage portal, select the active directory from the list of "filter by directory" and select the subscription we want to see, then press "apply". As you can see, the subscription under my MSDN was located in a WAAD named "beijingtelecom.onmicrosoft.com". This is because when Microsoft applied this feature, they will check if you have an existing WAAD in your subscription. If not, it will create a new one, otherwise it will use your WAAD and move your subscription into this directory. Since I created a WAAD for test several months ago, this subscription was moved to this directory.   To change the subscription's directory is simple. First we need to create a new WAAD with the name we preferred. As below I created a new directory named "shaunxu". Then select "settings" from the left navigation bar, select the subscription we wanted to change and click "edit directory". You don't have the permission to edit/change directory unless your Microsoft Account is the service administrator of this subscription. Then in the popup window, select the WAAD you want to change and press "next". All done. You need to log off and log in the portal then your subscription will be in the directory you wanted. And after these steps I can view my resources in this subscription.   Summary In this post I described how to change subscriptions into a new directory. With this new feature we can manage our Windows Azure subscription more flexible. But there are something we need keep in mind. 1. Only the service administrator could be able to move subscription. 2. Currently there's no way for us to see our Windows Azure services in more than one directory at the same time. Like me, I can see my services under "shaunxu.onmicrosoft.com" and I must change the filter directory from the "subscriptions" menu to see other services under "microsoft.onmicrosoft.com". 3.
