  • Error while compiling pjsip 2 for cxode 4.3.2 and SDK 5.1

    I'm trying to compile pjsip version 2 using the terminal and I'm getting constant error no matter what I try. Been looking for the answer all over the internet including stackoverflow. I downloaded pjsip version 2 using their subversion repository today so all files should be up to date. That website is doing it in plain <script> tag, so it is impossible to bypass it by overriding the onload event using document.body.setAttribute('onload','');.     This is more a community sharing post than a real question. In my iPhone OS projects I'm always importing a helper class with helpful methods which I can use for about every project. So I thought it might be a good idea, if everyone shares some of their favorite methods, which should have been in everyones toolcase. I'll start with an extension of the NSString class, so I can make strings with dates on the fly providing format and locale.   • FF3/Windows CSS z-index problem with YouTube player

    I'm stuck on what appears to be a CSS/z-index conflict with the YouTube player. In Firefox 3 under Windows XP, Take a look at this page: http://spokenword.org/program/21396 Click on the Collect button and note that the pop-up <div appears under the YouTube player. On other browsers the <div appears on top. It has a z-index value of 999999. I've tried setting the z-index of the <object element containing the player to a lower value, but that didn't work. Any idea how to get the pop-up to appear over the player?

    Just trying out Vimperator for the first time. For the life of me however, I can't figure out how to add a script (specifically for delicious bookmarks). Running Windows 7 x64. No plugin directory: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\dgj7o1s1.default\extensions\[email protected] No plugin directory in default location: C:\Users\username\vimperator If I create the "plugin" directory, the script is still not available. Any suggestions? I'm really liking Vimperator, but when you can't figure something out, you really CAN'T figure it out.

  • SDK Facebook app - allow to use the app only on FB, not on my website

    I am newbie in creating apps for Facebook and I would like to ask you about a few things. I created my first app, in the settings I set up the domain URL, canvas URL, etc... when I load the app via apps.facebook.com/my_app_name the app is working, but also when I visit the page via the canvas URL I configured. Is there any way to only allow access to the app only when loaded inside the Facebook chrome? Also, in the app that I made are some links, buttons, etc. and when you hover over them with the mouse you can see my own domain in the status bar below. Is there a way to change that?

  • Evaluating expressions using Visual Studio 2005 SDK rather than automation's Debugger::GetExpression

    I'm looking into writing an addin (or package, if necessary) for Visual Studio 2005 that needs watch window type functionality -- evaluation of expressions and examination of the types. The automation facilities provide Debugger::GetExpression, which is useful enough, but the information provided is a bit crude. From looking through the docs, it sounds like an IDebugExpressionContext2 would be more useful. With one of these it looks as if I can get more information from an expression -- detailed information about the type and any members and so on and so forth, without having everything come through as strings. I can't find any way of actually getting a IDebugExpressionContext2, though! IDebugProgramProvider2 sort of looks relevant, in that I could start with IDebugProgramProvider2::GetProviderProcessData and then slowly drill down until reaching something that can supply my expression context -- but I'll need to supply a port to this, and it's not clear how to retrieve the port corresponding to the current debug session. (Even if I tried every port, it's not obvious how to tell which port is the right one...) I'm becoming suspicious that this simply isn't a supported use case, but with any luck I've simply missed something crashingly obvious. Can anybody help?

    Stack overflow I want to make a universal version of my app available, but I am wondering how is data managed between the iPad and the iPhone versions? -Are they completely independent? or if I have a plist in the iPad app, does it also appear in the iPhone app. If so, is there any syncing etc etc. I have a few months experience with single iPad or iPhone apps, but never a universal.   • Running sites on "localhost" is extremeley slow.

    Hello all, Having real trouble using my local host to test sites. It runs extremely slow! Sometimes up to a minute to load a page. I'm using firefox and the sites i'm testing run fine on other developers in my office local machines/ on the production server. I've gone through the normal things :- Disabled IPv6 Not running in debug mood Put the site in the highest app pool (High Isolated) on IIS 6. Taking of firewalls etc. The problem only seems to occur when hitting pages which contain some form of .net code in the code-behind. Appreciate that this a little bit of a vague topic / stab in the dark but would appreciate any sort of advice - it's horrible waiting a minute each refresh to try out a change! Cheers, Sean.

  • Android SDK: Create image on touch

    Hello, I'm a bit stumped here, I'm trying to make it so an image (already in the drawable folder) gets created everytime you touch the screen and removed when the finger is lifted. I have the touch part coded already, overriding the onTouch method with a couple switch cases that handle each type of action (down, up, move, etc). But I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the image appear and then disappear with the coordinates (matrix?) of where the finger is. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Pass information back from an iframe?

    Right now i'm building a firefox plugin that duplicates some functionality on my website. It takes in an email address and then returns information to the user. The easiest way to do this in the plugin is to use an Iframe and render that super simple form on my website. All of this works great, but to make the plugin really useful, i would like the plugin to have access to the information that the iframe renders, so it can use it in the current window that the user is in. Is it possible to pass information back through an Iframe in this manner? I know there are quite a few domain access restrictions with Iframes, so any help or insight is appreciated!!

    For some reason, firefox seems to ignore my scrollTo function even though it works in chrome and safari.   • JS - Why is this hidden div not showing in IE?

    Hello. I've made a page which should show a div when the user clicks on a input text box. The div will contain more information about the required input, etc. The page works fine on FireFox and the div shows, but when using IE the div just doesn't show. It seems like I've tried everything and nothing has worked so far. This is the page. Maybe you could look at the source and see what I'm doing wrong?     I'm aware that API 3 doesn't allow a view to be set for a tab, but I still need to modify the TextView displayed as the indicator. I'd also like to change the Drawable for the tab, but I don't see a way to do it without a custom tab view as allowed in 1.6, API 4. Working with this generic example below, is there way to retrieve the TextView and modify its properties or change the drawable?   • Rounded image corners in IE and Firefox

    I cannot make the image a background image to a div and round the div's corners because the image is resized, and as far as I know, you cannot resize a background image. What are my options, if any? Open to all suggestions including wrapper divs and corner images. Also, if it cannot be done in IE but there's a solution for Firefox, that's just fine with me.
