  • Checkpoint Endpoint Connect Imaging - Are there any gotchas?

    I am about to install CheckPoint EPC on a load of new laptops being rolled out. I plan to add it to the image, but want to check if there are any gotchas? By this I mean are there any UIDs that need removing before the image is taken to "depersonalise" the install. For example when you install LANDesk or McAfee (when using ePolicy) you need to remove the identifiers - do I need to do the same with EPC? Thanks in advance, Ben

I entered the following: Dynamic DNS [X] Diensteanbieter (DynDNS.org) Domänenname mysupersecrethost.dyndns.org (as specified in "My Host" section Konto / E-mail myaccountname Passwort mysupersecretpassword The update does not work anymore, so that my IP is not correct.     What I want to do is to setup a "sort of" radio in my college LAN in which, when I play music in any of the media player installed in my computer, I can share the same to other PCs on LAN via just an M3U file. Also, other PCs should be playing the music on that M3U file, what is being played right now on my "music" server (just like a radio station). I'm looking for a free solution that works on Windows 7 (and if possible, also on Linux) Thanks.

    On Windows XP, I have a disconnected Wireless connection which shows up in the System Tray. I have gone into Network Connections dialog box and elected not to show an icon when it is disconnected, yet it remains visible. I have gone into the Task bar properties and elected to always hide this icon, but that doesn't remove it from the system tray. How do I remove it? Thanks

    Quick question: I have a situation where I need to let multiple people on different PCs log into one server 2008 machine as administrator simultaneously over remote desktop. I have the CALs for it, it's just not set up correctly. When one user tries to log in, it boots the other out. What I need is to present to them a different session, just each as logged in as admin. The problem is that the servers are in California and my business is in Chile, soo I only have ssh access to that servers. Does anyone know if ' Windows Server 2003 IAS RADIUS' will query a 'Windows Server 2012 AD DS' and be able to return the attributes correctly?
