Make a form not focusable in C#

Hi! I'm wanting to write a virtual keyboard, like windows onscreen keyboard for touchscreen pcs. But I'm having problem with my virtual keyboard stealing the focus from the application being used. The windows onscreen keyboard mantains the focus on the current application even when the user clicks on it. Is there a way to do the same with windows forms in C#? The only thing I can do for now is to send a keyboard event to an especific application, like notepad in the following code. If I could make the form not focusable, I could get the current focused window with GetForegroundWindow. Simple RSA encryption (Java)

This is simply for fun. This will not be used for any actual encryption. I'm only first year comp sci student and love cryptography. This took a long time to get working. At approximately N = 18, it begins breaking down. It won't encrypt messages properly after that point. I'm not sure why. Any insights? Form-Fitting Laptop Hard Drive?

Not sure how to explain this exactly... if you need me to clarify, please add a comment and I'll address it. I'm looking for a USB hard drive that conforms to a laptop. Perhaps something that can be plugged in and carried around, tossed into a backpack without fear of ruining the connector or accidentally coming unplugged. Has anyone seen a hard drive like this?

Unable to Use Simple JSOUP Example To Parse Website Table Data

How can I make a simple path generator?

Hi all, I have a link that I have to repeat 50 times, for each folder, and I have 15 folders.the link that I have to repeat looks like this: <a href="update/images/Cars/car (x).JPG" rel="lightbox[cars]"></a> now, the jpg files are named car 1- car 50. and I would really like to be able to generate this script so that I can input the path "update/images/Cars/" the picture title (car) and the input the number of times that I need this link, and then have it spit out something that looks like this: <a href="update/images/Cars/car (1).JPG" rel="lightbox[cars]"></a> <a href="update/images/Cars/car (2).JPG" rel="lightbox[cars]"></a> <a href="update/images/Cars/car (3).JPG" rel="lightbox[cars]"></a> <a href="update/images/Cars/car (4).JPG" rel="lightbox[cars]"></a> <a href="update/images/Cars/car (5).JPG" rel="lightbox[cars]"></a> <a href="update/images/Cars/car (6).JPG" rel="lightbox[cars]"></a> and then it keeps repeating, I'm assuming this can be done with a counter, but I'm not sure. Lustre - is this bad form?

Im going to be consolidating several 'server rooms' into a single installation soon. Part of this effort will be finding a home for 5Tb (and growing) of files / logs. To this end Im looking at Lustre and appreciating its ability to scale. The big vendors want to sell me a $20K SAN to manage this but Im wondering about buying several iSCSI units (like this http://www.asacomputers.com/3U-iSCSI-Solution.html) and using VMs for the OSS machines. This would let me fail-over to cover problems and not require a dedicated system for each OSS. Given articles like this (http://h30565.www3.hp.com/t5/Feature-Articles/RAID-Is-Dead-Long-Live-RAID/ba-p/1422) that talk about how RAID is not keeping up with drive density Im leaning towards more disks with lower capacity each. Again - some akin to the iSCSI array above. Tell me why this is a terrible idea. Do I really need to invest in a PE710 for each OSS/OST?

How To Call Javascript In Ajax Response? IE: Close a form div upon success...

I have a form that when you submit it, it sends the data for validation to another php script via ajax. Validation errors are echo'd back in a div in my form. A success message also is returned if validation passes. The problem is that the form is still displayed after submit and successful validation. I want to hid the div after success. So, I wrote this simple CSS method which works fine when called from the page the form is displayed on. The problem is that I cannot seem to call the hide script via returned code. I can return html like echo "<p>Thanks, your form passed validation and is being sent</p>"; So I assumed I could simply echo another line after that echo "window.onload=displayDiv()"; inside script tags (which I cannot get to display here)... and that it would hide the form div. It does not work. I am assuming that the problem is that the javascript is being returned incorrectly and not being interpreted by the browser... How can I invoke my 'hide' script on the page via returned data from my validation script? I can echo back text but the script call is ineffective. Thanks! This is the script on the page with the form... I have strings of this type: text (more text) What I would like to do is to have a regular expression that extracts the "more text" segment of the string, so far I have been using this regular expression: "^.*\\((.*)\\)$" Which although it works on many cases, it seems to fail if I have something of the sort: text (more text (even more text)) What I get is: even more text) What I would like to get instead is: more text (even more text) (basically the content of the outermost pair of brackets.) Simple POSIX threads question

I've tried the following: quit_thread = TRUE; // wait until subthread() has cleaned its resources while(quit_thread); But it does not work! The while() clause does never exit although my subthread clearly sets quit_thread to FALSE after having freed its resources! If I modify my shutdown code like this: quit_thread = TRUE; // wait until subthread() has cleaned its resources while(quit_thread) usleep(10); Then everything is working fine! Could someone explain to me why the first solution does not work and why the version with usleep(10) suddenly works? I know that this is not a pretty solution. I could use semaphores/signals for this but I'd like to learn something about multithreading, so I'd like to know why my first solution doesn't work. Thanks!

I've tried different ways but always get schema errors, this error is: Invalid particle derivation by restriction - 'Derived element '{namespace}:Line1' is not a valid restriction of base element '{namespace}:Line1' according to Elt:Elt -- NameAndTypeOK.'. Simple question about the lunarlander example.

I am basing my game off the lunarlander example. This is the run loop I am using (very similar to what is used in lunarlander). I am getting considerable performance issues associated with my drawing, even if I draw almost nothing. I noticed the below method. Why is the canvas being created and set to null each cycle? @Override public void run() { while (mRun) { Canvas c = null; try { c = mSurfaceHolder.lockCanvas();//null synchronized (mSurfaceHolder) { updatePhysics(); doDraw(c); } } finally { // do this in a finally so that if an exception is thrown // during the above, we don't leave the Surface in an // inconsistent state if (c != null) { mSurfaceHolder.unlockCanvasAndPost(c); } } } } Most of the times I have read anything about canvases it is more along the lines of: mField = new Bitmap(...dimensions...); Canvas c = new Canvas(mField); My question is: why is Google's example done that way (null canvas), what are the benefits of this, and is there a faster way to do it?
