  • Update access table rst with named cell values from excel

    I have got a table in access that I loop through using a DAO recordset. For every recordset I take a bunch of data to an excel spreadsheet and run it through a model in excel. This produces a bunch of results in excel which are calculated in named cells. I want to be able to update the current recordset in access with these results but am having a tough time doing it. I have the following code code to create a DAO recordset code to move to first record code to parse data to excel code to run a bunch of stuff in excel including a goal seek to calculate results next I use the follwoing code without success With MyXL strSQL = "UPDATE ProductPricing SET Profit = " & .Names("Profit") & ";" End With Code to move to next record and loop until EOF any help is appreciated thanks

I think this is because the datacontext in the UnitofWork object is different to the one in RepositoryA where the data is changed. So when the service calls Save() on it's IUnitOfWork, the underlying datacontext does not have any updated data so no update SQL is fired. Is there something I've done wrong in the StrutureMap registry setup? Or is there a more fundamental problem with the design? Many thanks.

The current process is to run through a manual script and record how long certain processes take to populate data, it may populate a datagrid, a tree, a list box, etc... It will also need to be able record how long it takes to generate a pdf report. We do not require extremely accurate time just to the nearest second or less than a second. I need to know if there is a simple Automated testing product that will handle the above criteria.

    I am trying to create a NSMutableArray by reading in a .txt file and am having trouble setting the last element of the array to nil. I also tried: [mutableList addObject:[NSNull null]]; but that does not seem to work either. Is there a way around this problem?

This prints out the contents of the file line by line. cat repos_to_migrate.txt | tee $1 This however does not work: cat repos_to_migrate.txt | git svn clone file:///home/svn/$1 ... Unable to open repository 'file:///home/svn' ... Any ideas here? I'f it matters I'm running centos5.

    Hello, I have a matrix in a txt file and I want to load the matrix based on my input of number of rows and columns For example, I have a 5 by 5 matrix in the file. I want to extract a 3 by 3 matrix, how can I do that ? If I have this matrix : 5.00 4.00 5.00 6.00 5.00 4.00 3.00 25.00 5.00 3.00 4.00 23.00 5.00 2.00 352.00 6.00 And inputting 3 for rows and 3 for columns, I get : 5.00 4.00 5.00 6.00 5.00 4.00 3.00 25.00 5.00 Which is obviously wrong , its reading line by line rather than skipping the unmentioned column ...     I have a bit of a task before me. (DB2 Database) I need to create a table that will be a child table (is that what it is called in SQL?) I need it so that it has a foreign key constraint with my other table, so when the parent table is modified (record deleted) the child table also loses that record. Once I have the table, I also need to populate it with the data from the other table (if there is an easy way to UPDATE this). If you could point me in the right direction, this would help alot, as I do not even know what syntax to look for. Thanks in advance

  • IE8 + Jquery ajax call giving parsererror from dJango : for json data which seems valid in Firefox

    The ajax call works fine in FF. the data returned is in JSON here is an example from FF firebug - {"noProfiles": "No profiles have been created, lets start now !"} When I try to print the error in IE8 (& in compatibility modes as well), it says "parsererror". But the output seems to be valid JSON. Here is the ajax function call I'm making.     Hi there. I'm trying to build a simple cluster based on Windows XP. I compiled OpenMPI-1.4.2 successfully, and tools like mpicc and ompi_info work too, but I can't get my mpirun working properly. Can anyone help me? Upd2: Error code -2147024891 might be WMI error WBEM_E_INVALID_PARAMETER (0x80041008) which occures when one of the parameters passed to the WMI call is not correct. Does this mean that the problem is in OpenMPI source code itself? Or maybe it's because of wrong/outdated wincred.h and credui.lib I used while building OpenMPI from the source code?

  • Why Doesn't This Java Code Skip Lines with #?

    I'm trying to allow an external .txt file that is read by a Java script be able to have some comments in the beginning of the file so others can easily edit it and add more to it. But if the file contains # (the sign designated for a line that is a comment) it just returns the error that there is a "Format Error in file" (the IOException - so it is getting past that first "IF"...) Can someone help? When I run the script I get the following errors , "Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record." or "Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal." Somewhere when I was googling I found that , the above error message will be shown when we use temp table in stored procedure, if that is the reason , then how can I access data via VBscript by executing the stored procedure ??

    I'm trying to add user submitted articles to my website, (only for admins). With each article comes an option to upload up to 3 images. My database is set up like this Articles id user_id title body date_added last_edited Photos id (auto_increment) article_id First I save the article in the database, then I upload the photo (temporarily) then I create a new photo record in the database saving the article_id. Then I rename the uploaded photo to be the same as the primary key of the photo record, and to be a png. $filename = $photo->id . '.png'; I figured this would be a good way to prevent files form being overwritten. This seems flawed to me. Any suggestions on how I should save my records and photos? Thanks

I figure its because I need to supply some network credentials but I'm not sure how to get those to work in this situation.   • Side effects of reordering columns in PostgreSQL

    I sometimes re-order the columns in my Postgres DB. Since Postgres can only add columns at the end of tables, I end up re-ordering by adding new columns at the end of the table, setting them equal to existing columns, and then dropping the original columns. My question is: what does PostgreSQL do with the memory that's freed by dropped columns? Does it automatically re-use the memory, so a single record consumes the same amount of space as it did beforehand? But that would require a re-write of the whole table, so to avoid that, does it just keep a bunch of blank space around in each record? Thanks! ~S
