  Below is a partial table row that will create a line row of 3 columns. Two columns in each side is links, left is previous year and right is next year links. Center is links for january thru december. When you click a month links, the calendar will show that month you've clicked in the current year the calendar is on. For example, the calendar will open current month and year by default...March 2010. • Getting a screenshot of a page using C# - Need help with code

  I'm writing a specialised crawler and parser for internal use and I require the ability to take a screenshot of a web page in order to check what colours are being used throughout. The program will take in around ten web addresses and will save them as a bitmap image, from there I plan to use LockBits in order to create a list of the five most used colours within the image. To my knowledge it's the easiest way to get the colours used within a web page but if there is an easier way to do it please chime in with your suggestions. Anyway, I was going to use this program until I saw the price tag. I'm also fairly new to C#, having only used it for a few months. Can anyone provide me with a solution to my problem of taking a screenshot of a web page in order to extract the colour scheme? EDIT: Sorry for not getting back to this sooner, but I've been busy with some other things. Anyway, the code seems to work well, but the problem I am having right now is that I am running it within a form, and naturally with Application.Run() being called I cannot run two instances of the same form at once. It recommended Form.showDialog() but that broke everything. • Delay keyboard input help

  I'm so close! I'm using the XNA Game State Management example found here and trying to modify how it handles input so I can delay the key/create an input buffer. In GameplayScreen.cs I've declared a double called elapsedTime and set it equal to 0. In the HandleInput method I've changed the Key.Right button press to: if (keyboardState.IsKeyDown(Keys.Left)) movement.X -= 50; if (keyboardState.IsKeyDown(Keys.Right)) { elapsedTime -= gameTime.ElapsedGameTime.TotalMilliseconds; if (elapsedTime <= 0) { movement.X += 50; elapsedTime = 10; } } else { elapsedTime = 0; } The pseudo code: If the right arrow key is not pressed set elapsedTime to 0. If it is pressed, the elapsedTime equals itself minus the milliseconds since the last frame. If the difference then equals 0 or less, move the object 50, and then set the elapsedTime to 10 (the delay). If the key is being held down elapsedTime should never be set to 0 via the else. Instead, after elapsedTime is set to 10 after a successful check, the elapsedTime should get lower and lower because it's being subtracted by the TotalMilliseconds. When that reaches 0, it successfully passes the check again and moves the object once more. The problem is, it moves the object once per press but doesn't work if you hold it down. Can anyone offer any sort of tip/example/bit of knowledge towards this? Thanks in advance, it's been driving me nuts. In theory I thought this would for sure work. CLARIFICATION Think of a grid when your thinking about how I want the block to move. Instead of just fluidly moving across the screen, it's moving by it's width (sorta jumping) to the next position. If I hold down the key, it races across the screen. I want to slow this whole process down so that holding the key creates an X millisecond delay between it 'jumping'/moving by it's width. EDIT: Turns out gameTime.ElapsedGameTime.TotalMilliseconds is returning 0... all of the time. I have no idea why.

  Hello, I am using a ASP Calendar control to insert a datetime value into a field to be part of an insert to a SQL Server 2005 db table. I get the following error when i submit the form to server and try to insert into table: [ArgumentException: The version of SQL Server in use does not support datatype 'date'.] Seems like Calendar control returns a Date type value. How could i make the Calendar control return a Datetime value instead? I know now that SQL Server 2005 does not support Date type fields.

I signed up for myopenID and replaced my username in the delegate, but I don't understand what goes under "open_id" - is it just my URL? I'm just not sure what's going on, or what name I should put in the admin page at all (is it the username at myopenID?). I may have it all right, but I keep getting "OpenID server not found" so something is going wrong on both my local and remote server.

What i'm trying to query is when a client has started off in a city which is chester to see what city they moved to. But I dont want to be able to see if they started off in another city. I would also like be only see the move once (So i'd only like to see if they went from chester to london rather then chester to london to wales) The StartTimeDate is the same EndDateTime if they moved to another city. When we connect to a DB (MS SQL Server 2008) in VS 2008, the ConnectionString saved in the Application Setting and it's a static varriable (no one can edit it unless you edit it inside VS 2008). I want a way to let my Application search for MS SQL Server and save it to Application Setting and use it to connect to my DB Programmatically. When my application start, the first thing to do is checking the ConnectionString if vaild, NOT Empty and test connection to MS SQL Server Successfully so if there is a proplem I think to show a window form to let the user enter some data like username and password for MS SQL Server 2008 Is there any way to do it?

• Need to check uptime on a large file being hosted

  I have a dynamically generated rss feed that is about 150M in size (don't ask) The problem is that it keeps crapping out sporadically and there is no way to monitor it without downloading the entire feed to get a 200 status. Pingdom times out on it and returns a 'down' error. So my question is, how do I check that this thing is up and running

  Hey again, I have the following code: visitSite.hidden = YES; For some reason, when I click a UIButton and call this piece of code, the visitSite button does not hide. Majority query on this table - searching documents similar to current document: select 10 documents with maximum of (count common to current document value)/(count ov values in document). Nowadays we use PostgreSQL. Table weight (with index) ~1,5 GB. Average query time ~0.5s. Should I transfer all this to NoSQL base, if so, what?

Today, I ran across a NotSerializableException with a model object I created from scratch and I realized enough is enough. I was told this was because of session replication between load-balanced servers, but I know I've seen other objects at session scope that do not implement Serializable. Is this the real reason?

  I have a question regarding an iPhone game I'm developing. At the moment, below is the code I'm using to currently I loop through my multidimensional array and position bricks accordingly on my scene. Instead of having multiple two dimensional arrays within my code as per the following (gameLevel1). Ideally, I'd like to read from a text file within my project and loop through the values in that instead. Please take into account that I'd like to have more than one level within my game (possibly 20) so my text file would have to have some sort of separator line item to determine what level I want to render. • Help to edit the Recent Posts Wordpress widget to diplay in all 3 languages at once

  Site link: http://nuestrafrontera.org/wordpress/ I want the feed of recent post titles to show in the sidebar for all 3 languages, separated by language. So, for example, under Recent Posts the sidebar would have "English" and then the latest 3 posts in English, then "Español" and the latest 3 in Spanish and then French. All in a list in the column and appearing on all pages with the sidebar in all languages. I am using the most current version of Wordpress with the WPML plugin. I believe the Wordpress widget for Recent Posts needs to be tweaked to do this.   Hi All I'm using this script on my site - http://www.suuronen.org/esa-matti/projects/panfullsize/ Got it all working fine, only problem is that it always defaults to the zoomed image when you load a page. I'd rather it showed the scaled down image first, and then zoomed when requested. Anyone know how I can fix it? Cheers Sam

• Help with linq to sql compiled query

  Hi I am trying to use compiled query for one of my linq to sql queries. This query contains 5 to 6 joins. I was able to create the compiled query but the issue I am facing is my query needs to check if the key is within a collection of keys passed as input. But compiled queries do not allow passing of collection (since collection can have varying number of items hence not allowed). For instance input to the function is a collection of keys. Say: List<Guid> InputKeys List<SomeClass> output = null; var compiledQuery = CompiledQueries.Compile<DataContext, IQueryable<SomeClass>>( (context) => from a in context.GetTable<A>() where InputKeys.Contains(a.Key) select a); using(var dataContext = new DataContext()) { output = compiledQuery(dataContext).ToList(); } return output; Is there any work around or better way to do the above?
