• Any thoughts on A/B testing in Django based project?

  We just now started doing the A/B testing for our Django based project. Can I get some information on best practices or useful insights about this A/B testing. Ideally each new testing page will be differentiated with a single parameter(just like Gmail). mysite.com/?ui=2 should give a different page. So for every view I need to write a decorator to load different templates based on the 'ui' parameter value. And I dont want to hard code any template names in decorators. So how would urls.py url pattern will be?

  I have implemented my domain layer classes and i have used them in a java application. Now i want to use same classes in a java web application,but i dont know how can i do it? In the java aplication we make and run some objects in main(class and method) and use them while program is running. for example an object that hold a collection of data that will be needed for all user requests. My question is: How can i create and hold such objects and data that should be available for all users and clients.

• Bind Data after TCP receive.

  I have this strange problem all day now. I dunno if you handled something similar. I used two different serializers and now i know its not this problem. Im sending some data over TCP Sockets. Serialize - Send - Deserialize, everything works ok, i can get my objects search through them, use they're properties! But, if e.g receive a BusinessObject[] and convert into List<BusinessObject>, then bind the list in a Control.DataSource = businessObjectList; BOOM! NotSupportedException. Tried it with 3 different controls. Same behaviour. My head is empty of ideas right now!! The Send TCP happens on Desktop Framework, Receive on Compact Framework. But i dont think this has to do with anything. I wish for an explanation on this!

And When i set phonecallid to origanitingactivityid on campaign response ( like campaignResponse.OriginatingActivityId = new EntityReference(); campaignResponse.OriginatingActivityId.LogicalName = PhoneCall.EntityLogicalName; campaignResponse.OriginatingActivityId.Id = phoneCall.ActivityId.Value; ) Plugin throws timeout.(I set serviceproxy,Timeout property 30 minutes,its still throw timeout.) When i dont set originatingactivityid,campaingresponse is created. Any suggestion about this problem.

  Hi there! I've got a variable which is formatted with random HTML code. I call it to {$text} and i truncate it. The value is for example: <div>Lorem <i>ipsum <b>dolor <span>sit </span>amet</b>, con</i> elit.</div> If i truncate the text's first ~30 letters, I'll get this: <div>Lorem <i>ipsum <b>dolor <span>sit The problem is, I can't close the elements. So, I need a script, which check the <*> elements in the code (where * could be anything), and if it dont have a close tag, close 'em. Please help me in this. Thanks.

• NSMutableArray EXC_BAD_EXCESS SIGBUS

  Hi, I've the following code which causes crashes after sometime as i've set the below code in a timer:- CGImageRef cgImage = UIGetScreenImage(); [array addObject:(id)cgImage]; CGImageRelease(cgImage); Where initiallly i've declared "array" as: array = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init]; The timer goes well till 10 seconds as timer is of 1/10 seconds after 10 seconds it crashes. I think the application crashes because of EXC_BAD_EXCESS but dont know how to solve. Can Anybody help in solving the problem? Thanks in Adv.

  I've been trying left joins but as there are 2 joins, i think the problem is the 2nd join roots from table_B not table_A. i am not getting any results where there is the required data in the db. • Can access maven repository from behind proxy, need help.

  I am trying to access maven repository from behind proxy. I configured settings.xml correctly (i guess so...) true http username password 12.34.56.78 8080 But still I am error message like... if i dont configure userid/password gets correct error message which is HTTP response code 407 - saying authentication required. But If I configure correct/incorrect proxy authentication it always prints below error message....   Hello guyz,i am new to daatbase and class diagram.I just get scenarios from internet and try to develop ERD and Class Diagram for them.But the following scenario has caused me some problems, and i am not sure about my design. "Whenever an employee fills leave application form, the leave application should be appeared for approval to his/her team leader. Team Leader has the option to change the date of requested leave and to approve or reject the leave. Employee also has the option to change date of previously unapproved leaves or to cancel any of unapproved leave. In case of team leader, he can approve his own leaves. Management should be able to create categories of leaves like (Casual, Sick, Planned work, etc) and should be able to adjust the days allocated to each type of leave". I have identified these as entities for ERD 1) Employee(I think i dont need to make entity for Technical lead,since he is an employee) 2) LeaveHistory 3) LeaveCategory Plz correct me if the system need more classes or entities

  Hi I'm somewhat of a newbie to python and I'm using app engine and aptanna studio - I need to run some python shell commands so that i can complete the tasks in this Tutorial on how to set up 118 and django. I have got this all working but i don't understand how i run the python commands to compile the dictionarys such as $ PYTHONPATH=/path/to/googleappengine/python/lib/django/ /path/to/googleappengine/python/lib/django/django/bin/make-messages.py -a To be honest - why am i saying that! I dont know where in aptanna studio i run this command -then worse I don't quite understand what exactly i type based on the above command line. My path to google app engine is D:\Program Files\Google\google_appengine\ Can anyone help shed some light on how i do this from aptanna / the root of my project?? • Thread vs ThreadPool - .Net 2.0

  Hello I'm not able to understand the difference between Thread vs ThreadPool. Consider i've to manipulate 50,000 records using threads. In case of threads i need to either predefine no of threads or no of records per threads. Either of them has to be constant. In case of threadpool we dont need to set any of them theoretically. But practically we need to assign the number of records per thread, because the no of threads may grow extremely large if the input no of records is huge. Any insights on this?

  hi everyone, i'm extremely rookie on this security field, so please forgive if my questions are dumb. i am asked to convert and migrate couple "Lotus Forms" forms to our software that is written in java. One thing in forms that bother me is digital signatures. These forms can be signed by digital signatures, probably generated by "Silanis Approve-it". as i have said before, i dont have much knowledge about this technology. and strangely couldnt find any tutorial or example of integrating digital signature and java. So what are the possibilities here ? how my code read a digital signature, sign a document with this signature? There should be an API or something that is provided by vendors right :)

But i dont want this.I have to check,whether the clciked item is parent,if it is so then i will skip this coding.Only when i click the child items it will go to this coding. How can i do that?How can i identify the selected item is parent.

• SilverLight WebApp Calling Webservice in the same solution

  Hi, I have a website solution that is composed of a SilverLight Project and an ASP Site that contains an asmx Webservice. The SilverLight project calls various methods in the Webservice, and this works fine on my home PC. When i publish the site (using 123-Reg if that makes a difference), it appears that the SilverLight app is no longer able to call the webservice. I have tried debugging the app by pointing my local version of the site to my published webservice and i get a "policy" issue. I know that 123 Reg have .Net 3.5 running on their servers, so i would assume that the site should "just work" when i publish it. Am i making a hugely stupid assumption there? Is there anything that i can do to change the "policies" within my app? Or is there another way around what i am trying to do ( i need to keep the webservice, as i want for it to be used from other places, and dont really want to duplicate code and create the same methods within the SilverLight project). • [Alfresco] property qualified-name in method getContentReader

  Hi there, I first apologize for my poor english level and maybe for the stupidity of my question ;) I am on an alfresco project to learn how it works. I have to browse programatically my content repository and gather datas all along. In order to do that I guessed I had to use a ContentReader (I get from my ContentService) but the method getReader wants a nodeRef and a propertyQualifiedName. I am ok with the nodeRef, I get what it's needed for. But the propertyQualifiedName puzzles me, I barely get what it is but I frankly don't get how it is used. Reading some alfresco forum threads I get more and more scared that I dont even get how a reader works, I somewhere saw that a reader can read only one node and only one time per instance. If anyone knows a bit about the Java API for Alfresco Content Repository use I am all hears ! Cheers all !

  Am rather new to this world of htaccess redirects.Am trying to force all redirects in my Zend MVC to my https but I get a requested URL not found error on requests that dont go though the index controller Example https://www.example.com/auth/register gives a requested URL /auth/register not found error. However if I remove the https redirect rule it works fine over http. If I adjust the URL to https://www.example.com/index.php/auth/register it works fine. The URL https://www.example.com/index/faq works just fine since it goes through the index controller.   Okay so I am looking to create a grided array in OGRE3D game engine but the array is generic my array skills are pretty basic and need work so I am posting this just to be sure I am doing this correctly. #define GRIDWIDTH 10 #define GRIDHEIGHT 10 int myGrid [HEIGHT][WIDTH]; int n,m; int main () { for (n=0;n<HEIGHT;n++) for (m=0;m<WIDTH;m++) { jimmy[n][m]=(n+1)*(m+1); } return 0; } I am assuming the above will return: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Then I can assign each point in the array to a valid node in OGRE3D to create a grid in 3D view would this work? Just need to tell me if I am doing it right or wrong dont need the ogre3d code....

• JAX-WS: when input soap validation fails

  I have created a web service with JAX-WS. When the input SOAP message is not well formed or can not be validated, a soap fault is returned automatically to the caller. I dont want the caller to receive this standard SOAP message but i want to create an own custom SOAP fault. So if the call looks like this (note Envelope1, its not valid): hello a default return message is something like this: S:Client Couldn't create SOAP message due to exception: unexpected XML tag. expected: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Envelope but found: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Envelope1 I want the return message to be something like this: S:Client My own custom SOAP message! I have tried to get this to work the whole day, but i cant figure out how to do it. So if someone could help me I would be really glad!
