  Hi i tried to enter into third party website using my google apps username & password. For that i used URL as https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/site-xrds?hd=mydomain.com. I used this URL in stack overflow which directs to my domain's login after i sign in it returns "Unable to login with your openid provider Errorr occured while sending a direct message or getting respose". • Default taglibs used within included JSPs for editing

  Hello everyone Within Eclipse's jsp-editor, as you all know, I get code-assistance for external taglibs once I defined them. In the project I am working on now a lot of jsps are just included and have no taglib definition in the top which gives me a lot of editor warnings. In the deployment this doesnt matter because the taglibs are defined in the head-jsp. Is there a way that I can define default taglibs within a project so the eclipse editor will give me code-assist even though I dont include the taglib in each file again?

  Hi guys, I solved a problem recently. But I have this one piece of code where I dont utilize the for loop initialization and condition check. It looks a bit odd that way for a for loop. I want to convert it into a while loop. Please help me do it.   Hello, guys! I have a problem and I dont know what is better solution. Okay, I have 2 tables: posts(id, title), posts_tags(post_id, tag_id). I have next task: must select posts with tags ids for example 4, 10 and 11. Not exactly, post could have any other tags at the same time. So, how I could do it more optimized? Creating temporary table in each query? Or may be some kind of stored procedure? In the future, user could ask script to select posts with any count of tags (it could be 1 tag only or 10 at the same time) and I must be sure that method that I will choose would be the best method for my problem. • Help needed to resolve RMI RemoteException

  Hello friends, Any idea why do I get RemoteException while trying to invoke methods on Unix machine from Windows. I am inside the network and dont think this is because of firewall problem as I can do "telnet" from Windows to Unix box after starting the RMI server at the unix box. I also could not understand why is it going to local loopback IP?   GUI i am trying to use JSpinner but as you can see from the attached image that it looks bad. i am on windows 7. i was wondering if anyone knows how to make it look good? just for clarity. bad means the edges dont line up and good means the spin control edges line up correctly. thank you.   I have a datatable bound to a winforms dataGridView via a BindingSourceControl. I want to be able handle the UserDeletingRow event from the dataGridView and mark the row in my dataTable as deleted. I need to then be able to retrieve the rows marked as deleted from the datatable so that I can delete them from my database when a Save button is clicked. Please not I dont want to delete from the database on each firing of UserDeletingRow, only mark that row as deleted in my dataset. Can anyone point out how to do this?

The output would be OrderNumber - OrderLine - Product Name Order-1 null null // (this order has no lines) Order-2 1 Red widget I tried this query but is not getting the orders with no lines var model = (from po in Orders from line in po.OrderLines select new { OrderNumber = po.Id, OrderLine = line.LineNumber, ProductName = line.Product.ProductDescription, } ) I think that the 2nd from is limiting the query to only those that have OrderLines, but I dont know another way to express it. LINQ is very non-obvious if you ask me!

  Does anyone have some idea as to how come questions posted here on SO are showing up so quickly on Google?. Sometimes questions submitted are appearing as the first 10 entries or so - on the first page within 30 minutes of submitting a question. Pray tell, what sort of magic is being wielded here? Anybody have some ideas, suggestions?. My first thought is that they have info in their sitemap that tells google robots to trawl every N minutes or so - is that whats going on? BTW, I am aware that simply instructing Googlebots to scan your site every N minutes will not work if you dont have quality information (that is constantly being updated on your site). I'd just like to know if there is something else that SO may be doing right (apart from the marvelous content of course)

  Take the following code: public static string ReverseIt(string myString) { char[] foo = myString.ToCharArray(); Array.Reverse(foo); return new string(foo); } I understand that strings are immutable, but what I dont understand is why a new string needs to be called return new string(foo); instead of return foo.ToString(); I have to assume it has something to do with reassembling the CharArray (but thats just a guess). Whats the difference between the two and how do you know when to return a new string as opposed to returning a System.String that represents the current object?

  hi all friends I meet a problem yestoday...maybe it's becoz it is april 1st... but it did exist. here i begin clarifying: i have 3 pcs in remote area..2 clients and 1 oracle server.. my app is running seperately in the two clients hourly connecting to the oracles,,my clients worked well be4 April 1th, but suddenly my app in the clients mechines went down...first i did not change any configurations.... i used libsqlora8 to connect the server...I went into a dead loop in the library...I tried sqlplus, but it dead there in my shell terminal, like it meets a infinite loop....no return until i pressed ctrl + c, the reason i guess is "infinite loop" somewhere..... btw, when i used my local pc to connect the server, it worked well...just from this phenomenon, wen can see the is problems lie in the client mechines..and i check the configuration file both in local mechine and client mechines..they are identical have you met a problem like this.... I dont hope it's frank of April 1st

  I need to use Hidden variables in my JSP for session tracking. this is the code: <input type="hidden" name="REQ_TOKEN" value="<%=session.getAttribute("SESN_TOKEN").toString()%>" /> i am using this to compare the request token with session token, so only when both are equal i will evaluate that request otherwise i will throw an error. Now the problem is, when i place this code inside <form></form> tags, it is working fine. Unfortunately there are some JSPs in my application where we dont have tag(I know that sounds weird!). where can i place my code so that it will work? Cant i use Hidden variables without FORM tag???

  Hi, I have a simple requirement in which I want to execute a long running application program on server (e.g. DTSX) I want to make an HTTP module for this, But I have a question whether the DTSX will run even if the user closes the page and browser. In my case user hits the handler with a query string but what if the user closes the browser immediately? How is the behavior different from simple linear page processing? I want my DTSX package to finish once its started no matter how much time it takes and also dont want to halt the user that is why I am using http modules in place of linear asp page processing.   Hi, In AppKit we have "representedObject" available through NSViewController, this representedObject is generally set to ModelController or the model which the NSViewController displays, this works great with bindings as you just set the new representedObject and model details are updated in the view, BUT in case of iPhone (UIKit, with NO Cocoa bindings available), there is no such representedObject in UIViewController so here are few things I am interested in knowing:- What is the best/recommended way of binding the model to the UIViewController?, preferably dont want to maintain lot of IBOutlets and calls setters to updated the changed model data for display in view. How/When should the related model of the UIViewController be released? When is the -[UIViewController dealloc] called, in the typical iPhone application. Am looking for architecting some classes so that the UIViewController coordinates between the view and the model, but at the same time, deallocs the model when ever not necessary. TIA.

  I have added a UICollectionView into a normal ViewController (MainViewController), and than created a UICollectionViewController Subclass (CollectionViewController) in the ViewController and connected the UICollectionView outlet with the CollectionViewController object _collectionViewController = [[CollectionViewController alloc] initWithCollectionViewLayout:_collectionView.collectionViewLayout]; _collectionView.dataSource = _collectionViewController; _collectionView.delegate = _collectionViewController; In the CollectionViewController I have setup an simple NSArray object and I show this one. This works as expected. But If I try to access the collectionview from the CollectionViewController via self.collectionview I am not able to access this one. I dont know what I have to do, to also connect the collectionview. But If i just send the request int he keyboard events, it will fire every time a key is pressed.   Hello, I have plain POCOs here and as INotifyPropertyChanged is a Interface for the Views need its implemented in the ViewModel not the Model. Now I want to show validation errors in the View beside every textbox the user typed in data. I do not want to implemented the IDataErrorInfo interface in my Models because lets assume I am not allowed to touch them as they come from another Service/Supplier. I do not want to put my IsCustomerFirstNameLenthValid Method into the Model because I could not have access to it or I just dont want to pollute my Models with interface`s having nothing to do there! How can I validate my naked POCO`s in the ViewModel and forward the results to the View by showing validation errors ?
