Monitors are connected the following way: DVI-DVI-DisplayPort Currently driver does not allow me to do this. If I click on the third monitor to extended it, I get message to disable other one.   • Is there a way to route all traffic from Android through a proxy/tunnel to my Tomato router?

    I'd like to be able to connect my Android phone to public Wi-Fi points with unencrypted connections, but People can see what I'm doing by intercepting my radio transmissions People who own the access point can see what I'm doing. There are tools like WeFi and probably others to automatically connect to access points, but I don't trust random APs. I'd like all my traffic to go through an encrypted tunnel to my home router, and from there out to the Internet. I've done such tunnels from other computers with SSH/SOCKS and PPTP before. Is there any way to do this with Android? I've asked the same question on Force Close, so I'll change this question to be about both sides of the tunnel. More specifically: My phone now has CyanogenMod 4.2.3 My router currently has Tomato Version 1.25 I'm willing to change the router firmware, but I was having issues with DD-WRT disconnecting, which is why I'm using Tomato. Some possible solutions: SSH with dynamic SOCKS proxy: Android supposedly supports this through ConnectBot, but I don't know how to get it to route all traffic. Tomato supports this natively. I've been using this with MyEntunnel for my web browsing at work. Requires setting up each app to go through the proxy, though. PPTP: Android supports this natively. Tomato does not support this, unless you get the jyavenard mod and compile it? I previously used PPTP for web browsing at work and in China because it's native in Windows and DD-WRT. After a while I started having problems with it, then I started having problems with DD-WRT, so I switched to the SSH tunnel instead. Also it supposedly has security flaws, but I don't understand how big of a problem it is. IPSec L2TP: Android (phone) and Windows (work/China) both support this natively I don't know of a router that does. I could run it on my computer using openswan, but then there are two points of failure. OpenVPN: CyanogenMod apparently includes this, and now has an entry to create a new OpenVPN in the normal VPN interface, but I have no idea how to configure it. TunnelDroid apparently handles some of this. Future versions will have native support in the VPN settings? Tomato does not support this, but there are mods that do? I don't know how to configure this, either. TomatoVPN roadkill mod SgtPepperKSU mod Thor mod I could also run a VPN server on my desktop, I guess, though that's less reliable and presumably slower than running it in the router itself. I could change the router firmware, but I'm wary of more fundamental things breaking. Tomato has been problem-free for the regular stuff.     I'm looking for a system monitoring service, a bit like New Relic, but for more the system itself than the ruby side of things. i.e. something like Zabbix, but hosted like New Relic. I wont something I can just drop an 'agent' on the servers, and then do all the config and monitoring and notifications on a nice slick 3rd party system. So essential Zabbix Meats New Relic meets Pingdom. Any ideas?

    Hi all, Can anyone point me to, or does anyone know what this "feature" of SQL Server is? Googling for it (also for "Super scan" which seems to be a synonym for the feature) reveals no information other than all the edition comparison pages that exist out there for SQL Server. I'm also not sure whether this is a stackoverflow or a serverfault question.   • Microsoft SQL for PHP driver

    Hello I am running a W2K3 x64 server with IIS 7 + FastCGI + PHP 5.3 (x64) I have trouble geting the SQL for php driver to work. It seems it doesn't get loaded, but no error is thrown. I've doublechedked the php.ini a multitude of times and I'm pretty sure I use the right version of the sql for php driver (version 1.1 CTP) and sql native client x64 is installed. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks

Examples include all DDL (data definition language) statements such as CREATE TABLE, ALTER TABLE, or DROP TABLE. " Does this statement means that even if we have ROW format for binary logs all DDLs will be logged in binary log as statement based? How does this affect replication? Kindly help me to understand this.

  • mysql 5.0.23 vs 5.5 performance benefits and upgrade issues ?

    I have been told that mysql 5.5 has a significant performanance boost compared to 5.0 Our server handles alot of data (around 30 million records processed per 5-10 seconds) and requires every drop of performance boost we can give. Will it be beneficial if we upgrade from 5.0.23 to mysql 5.5 ? Also, we have lots of database indexes setup on the tables and i've been told that sometimes the indexes become corrupt after a version upgrade and they have to be rebuilt. Is this true ?

    We are under a heavy icmp flood attack. Tcpdump shows the result below. Altough we have blocked ICMP with iptables tcpdump still prints icmp packets.     Hi, Is it possible to make a backup of my Windows Server from the built-in Microsoft tool, but as long as my Hyper-V backups are stored safely and not backed up anywhere, I can still restore my Windows Server from the native backup and use the Hyper-v machines? So if I lost my C:\ and my VMs are stored remotely, I can restore from an earlier backup and use those VMs.

  • Squidguard (or equivalent) for IPv6

    We have recently implemented (native) IPv6 in our network. Everything is working very well so far, but our IPv4 network passes all HTTP traffic through Squid (2.7.STABLE6 on Ubuntu Server) + SquidGuard for filtering purposes. This is all managed via a redirect rule on the firewall (via Shorewall). I'm wondering now if it's possible to do the same thing with IPv6 at all. If it's any help we're using Shorewall6 for IPv6 traffic.
