  If I do XPathDocument doc = new XPathDocument("filename.xml"); Does that load the entire document into memory? I'm writing a mobile phone app and the document might store lots of data that doesn't ever need to all be loaded at the same time. Mobile phones don't usually have too much ram!

• UISegmentedControl not expanding size for navigation bar/very squished

  Running through an iPhone SDK book and one of the examples has me creating a table and then later adding a UISegmentedControl to the table for sorting. I dutifully did this in IB, and it looks great: When I run it in the simulator or my phone, it's totally squished: The buttons work perfectly, it's just they are not sizing according to their content.   Basically, I'd like to know how I can logout of my facebook session if I am in an iphone app and have connected to facebook (such that I do not have to repeatedly enter my login/password). Normally you'd disconnect in the app somewhere like in the options, but if this is not available (i.e. anything that triggers the FBSession logout method) is there some other way to do it? I'm guessing one could restore their phone to factory settings or something.

  From another stackoverflow question, it seems that Android handles large bitmaps differently than other memory. It also seems like there is a way to force Android to recycle the bitmaps to free up memory. Can anyone enlighten me on how to do this. My application uses 2-6 huge bitmaps at all times, so it nearly kills the phone's memory when running, and I want to clear it up when the user quits.

  When my app starts, the title bar is hidden. However, if I leave the app and then return (minimize or phone goes to sleep), there is a blank bar inserted at the top. Is this an intentional feature? How can I prevent it? It seems that the bar goes away after I press the menu key. • DNS resolve without depending on router for asterisk system

  Hello, Basically I have a Debian box running asterisk assigned an IP via DHCP with host-name XXX. My windows browser can resolve the host-name but if I use host-name in X-Lite or my SPA922 phone it fails to resolve. Is there any way of getting this to work without depending on the router or assigning a static IP (request is to make it portable). I was thinking zero-conf but am unsure (box has limited HDD too). Any help is most appreciated.
