• Missing parameter error after running MySql query

  Hello, I'm completely new to MySql and haven't used SqlDataSource with UpdateParameters before, so I'm probably missing something very obvious. When trying to update a record, the update does happen but then throws an error saying "'id' parameter is missing at the statement". So the query works and the database gets updated as it should, but an error is thrown afterwards.   Modifying the Snake example. An exception was created from the bitmap class. So I debug the original Snake, and found that in TileView there is a function loadTile, Bitmap bitmap = Bitmap.createBitmap(mTileSize, mTileSize, Bitmap.Config.ARGB_8888); after the above assignment, the bitmap had -1 for mHeight and mWidth. Then how does the Snake even work? I am just use the Eclipse and the virtual machine, not a real android phone.

  I need to convert WAV files to MP3 files so they can be played on a website. I think that LAME would probably be the best tool. However the WAV files are low bitrate (around 8kbits recorded from a phone) and LAME's website states that it is the "best MP3 encoder at mid-high bitrates and at VBR". Is there is a better encoder for lower bitrates? If so can you define "better"?

• Java ME right to left TextField label

  Hello, I'm writing a Java ME app and i need the label for the text field to be right aligned.. I've tried setting the layout of the TextField to Item.RIGHT but it doesn't seem to affect anything when running on my test phone (Nokia E71). The text inside the TextField is right aligned and Lists and such items are desplayed correctly (RTL aligned) but the TextField label isn't. Any ideas? Thanks.
