When I activate flyspell-mode it signals most of the citation keys as spelling errors. How can I tell flyspell not to spellcheck things within \cite commands. Furthermore, how can I combine rst-mode and flyspell, so that rst-mode would keep flyspell from spellchecking the following? reST comments reST code literal reST directive parameters and arguments reST raw directive contents Any ideas?

  I'm making a little project with Seam, Hibernate and JSF. This project run on JBoss 5.1. My boss wants to deploy this project on WebLogic. I read on the seam documentation that seam and WebLogic don't work fine together. I would like to know if I can use Hibernate (with JPA) and JSF on WebLogic and what framework (struts, spring?) I can use to replace Seam. Edit: I read in the seam documentation (chapter 39, weblogic integration) and I find that: For several releases of Weblogic there has been an issue with how Weblogic generates stubs and compiles EJB's that use variable arguments in their methods. This is confirmed in the Weblogic 9.X and 10.0.MP1 versions. Unfortunately the 10.3 version only partially addresses the issue as detailed below. So, I want to know if other problems like this exist.   I'm using Rhino Mocks to expect a call. There is a single parameter which is a string. But I'm not bothered about the case of the string. I want the test to pass even if the case is wrong. So I'm doing the following: //expect log message to be called with a string parameter. //We want to ignore case when verifiyig so we use a constraint instead of a direct parameter Expect.Call(delegate { logger.LogMessage(null); }).Constraints(Is.Matching<string>(x => x.ToLower()=="f2")); It seems a bit log winded. • Calling functions outside paths

  In mongojs, when you do: var birds = db.birds.find(searchTerm, callback); ...how do you pass arguments to the callback? I've tried bind, as in: birds = db.birds.find(searchTerm, app.get('getBirds').bind(res)); ...but to no avail. Just fyi I'm trying to pass the response object of the GET route so that the callback can render using res.send(results). The other option is to set app.set('res': res); and call app.get('res') from the callback - I'm not sure this is a good idea. It works, but it doesn't obey the events loop model too well - I think the request back to the app may be costly? Any help would be gratefully accepted. :)

• Creating a view linking three different node types with two node references

  I have the following content types: Camp - the top level type Registration Information - contains node reference to Camp called Camp Medical Release Form - contains node reference to registration information called Camper I would like to create a View that takes the nid for the Camp, and pulls out all the fields for the Registration Info and Medical Release Form. I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up the various arguments/relationships. I haven't done something that's referenced more than two types. I know it would be smart/best to just combine the Registration Info and Medical Release Form, since it's a 1:1 mapping, but we can't. So... any help would be appreciated!

If all values in a column is 0 or null then query should ignore to show that column(as shown in result) Note: if we run a query as select * from table1 it shows all columns. While I don't wants a query like select id,mon,tue,wed from table1 because no. of showing columns may change. Please reply to me. Thank you....

• Excluding items from TOC in Sphinx (documenter)?

  I'm using sphinx to document our internal API. For each class we're listing methods and then sub-sections under each such as Description and Examples, etc. The Table of Contents is generated automatically in the sidebar, which is great except that it lists all the sub-sections. I am looking for a way to tell Sphinx to ignore certain headings when generating the TOC. I have scoured the docs but have not found what I need. I'm sure it's something I missed. Some advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

• phpMyAdmin Cron to Delete Temporary Files

  I have a folder on my hosting which I periodically upload something to - /public_html/uploads - and I'd like to set up a cronjob through phpMyAdmin to empty it out on a regular basis. The current cron I have in pMA is find /public_html/uploads -maxdepth 1 -ctime 1 -exec rm -f {} \; (Ignore the fact that it's running every minute for now, it's so I can test it :) ) I know very little about what this command is actually doing, but it looks like "not very much". • Is there a way to make XmlDocument parsing less strict

  I am making a program that will store its data in an XML file. When people write XML they can make subtle mistakes, like ending a comment with - so it looks like <!-- comment ---> or adding a </>inside an attribute. Naturally, the XML still can be read all right, but trying to input this text into XmlDocument will give a syntax error (and it wont be parsed). Is there a way to make XmlDocument less strict and make it ignore violations of the standard that do not make the document unparseable? For example, its clear that <!-- comment ---> is still a comment even though it contains - at the end which is against the standard specification).

  i need to parse through a text file and process the data. the valid data is usually denoted by either a timestamp with TS followed by 10 numbers (TS1040501134) or values with a alpabet followed by nine numbers (A098098098)...so it will be like TS1040501134A111111111B222222222...........TS1020304050A000000000........ However, there are cases when there will be filler 0s when there is no data. So, such a case might be 00000000000000000000TS1040501134A111111111B2222222220000000000TS1020304050A000000000........` Now as we can see I need to ignore these zeros. how might i do this? • jQuery get request against Sinatra does not get text

  I have a very simple sinatra site that I'm trying to access via ajax through jQuery. To keep things incredibly simple, this code snippet: get '/behavior_count' do "60" end which returns "60" in the browser, shows up as an empty string when attempting to access the site via $.get in jQuery. The strange part is in Firebug, while the Response is empty, the HTTP header correctly describes Content-Length as 2, and I can see the request show up on the server. Is there something specific to Sinatra that isn't returning my data, or am I not using jQuery correctly? If it helps, I also tried this code: get '/behavior_count' do content_type 'text/plain', :charset => 'utf-8' "60" end and my jQuery looks like $.get('http://mysite:4567/behavior_count'); // Ignore the response, but // watch the request in firebug Any ideas?

• How to Prevent an Applet from Unloading across web pages?

  I have a large applet that takes some 40 seconds to initialize (cabs are cached so ignore download time for this question). The issue is, if the user goes to Page A which launches the applet (single window) and then navigates to page B, the applet is unloaded. If the user goes back to Page A, they incur the 40 seconds init time once again. I'd like to be able to launch the applet, incurring the 40 seconds init time once and only once. The applet needs to reside inside a single browser window (the same window as my web application). In other words, I cannot launch the applet in a popup. Does anyone have any creative ideas around how to prevent the applet unloading?

  In python you may have a function definition: def info(object, spacing=10, collapse=1) which could be called in any of the following ways: info(odbchelper) info(odbchelper, 12) info(odbchelper, collapse=0) info(spacing=15, object=odbchelper) thanks to python's allowing of any-order arguments, so long as they're named. The problem we're having is as some of our larger functions grow, people might be adding parameters between spacing and collapse, meaning that the wrong values may be going to parameters that aren't named. In addition sometimes it's not always clear as to what needs to go in. We're after a way to force people to name certain parameters - not just a coding standard, but ideally a flag or pydev plugin? so that in the above 4 examples, only the last would pass the check as all the parameters are named. Odds are we'll only turn it on for certain functions, but any suggestions as to how to implement this - or if it's even possible would be appreciated.

• How to convince a colleague that code duplication is bad?

  A colleague of mine was implementing a new feature in a project we work on together and he did it by taking a file containing the implementation of a similar feature from the same project, creating a copy of it renaming all the global declarations and slightly modifying the implementation. So we ended up with two large files that are almost identical apart from renaming. I tried to explain that it makes our project more difficult to maintain but he doesn't want to change anything saying that it is easier for him to program in such way and that there is no reason to fix the code if it "ain't broke". How can I convince him that such code duplication is a bad thing? It is related to this questions, but I am more interested in the answers targeted to a technical person (another programmer), for example a reference to an authoritative source like a book would be great. I have already tried simple arguments and haven't succeeded.

• Google Chrome "window.open" workaround?

  Hi Folks! I have been working on a web app and for part of it I need to open a new window. I have this working on all browsers, my sticking point is with Google Chrome. Chrome seems to ignore the window features which is causing me issues, the thing I'm struggling with is I need the address bar to be editable within the new window. FF, IE, Safari and Opera do this fine, Chrome does not. • How do I get the CoreData Debug argument to output to the console?

  According to Apple documentation on debugging Core Data it says we should be able to pass an argument to the application which will output the SQL core data sends to SQLite. I have gone into the arguments tab of my executable in XCode and specified the argument: -com.apple.CoreData.SQLDebug 1 However, I see no SQL in the console. I then tried to use this parameter in the CoreDataBooks application provided by Apple just in case there was some other issue in MY program. Even in Apple's example I get no SQL output in the console. Am I doing something wrong? Is Apple's documentation wrong? Should I be looking someplace other than the console? Has anyone else had success with this argument?

I have used var and then iterating over it got the result. But without that any other way by which I can do it? Using C# 3.0 Thanks

  Regarding the black art of managing memory on iPhone OS devices: what do the different levels of memory warning mean. Level 1? Level 2? Does the dial go to 11? Context: After an extensive memory stress testing period - including running my iPad app with the iPod music player app playing, I am inclined to ignore the random yet infrequent memory warnings I am receiving.   I have a project that uses PageMethods to call functions on the server. The server functions (written in C#) return the values as array of strings, without doing any kind of serialization and in the client side (from Js) the accessing of the return values is by using static variable called arguments. I found that sometimes for some users (cases are not repro) sometimes an exception occured "WebServiceFailedException the server method 'Foo' returned invalid data. the 'd' property is missing from JSON." Some searching on google I found that people are serializing the return values using DataContractJsonSerializer class and in js accessing the return value using one of the callback function Example: function OnRequestComplete(result, userContext, methodName) { var Person = eval('(' + result + ')'); alert(Person.Forename); alert(Person.Surname); } So is the first technique is correct? or what?
