    I have a website I recently converted from website to web application Project . When I compile It compiles Successfuly but when I run the code I get this error Parser Error Message: Could not load type 'DApplause.Logon'.     I am developing a small plugin which appears in the post page and it has a touch of Ajax. $("#some-div").ajaxStart(function(){ $(this).html('Loading...'); }); $.post( AjaxHandler.ajaxurl, { action : 'wt4-cats', }, function(response) { //do some stuff }); thing is that Wordpress triggers the autosave feature every few minutes or so and affects my ajaxStart call. I mean, on autosave the "some-div" html becomes "Loading...". Is possible to avoid that?

    I'm having the following problem: I'm using Oracle ADF for the view and controller of my app. With OpenSessionInViewFilter, I intercept the request and open an Hibernate's Session, and it is closed as soon as the bean's method finishes. What I need is to keep the Session opened until the page is rendered, because in my JSP y use the lazy attributes of the object i load from the DB. For example: When I enter index.jspx the IndexBean#main() is executed: public class IndexBean{ private DBObject myDBObject; public String main(){ this.myDBObject = this.myDAO.loadObjectFromDB(); return null; } } in index.jspx I have: ... <af:inputText value="#{myDBObject.lazyAttribute}" /> ... So initially i need to check if the cookie is set, if not, I direct the user to the login page. Once logged in, I need to read the cookies and send it as part of mt further requests.   • Should I always call Page.IsValid in ASP.NET WebForms C#?

    I know to never trust user input, since undesirable input could be compromise the application's integrity in some way, be it accidental or intentional; however, is there a case for calling Page.IsValid even when no validation controls are on the page (again, I know its bad practice to be trusting user input by omitting validation)? Does Page.IsValid perform any other kinds of validation? I looked at MSDN, and the docs seem to suggest that Page.IsValid is only effective if there are validation controls on the page, or the Page.Validate method has been called. A friend of mine suggested that I always check Page.IsValid in the button click handlers every time even if there are no validation controls or explicit Page.Validate calls. Thanks for any advice!

    I have a Facebook connect app / canvas IFrame app which has a Like control for a fanpage. I'd like to detect when the user clicks the Like button to be able to display additional info (a discount coupon code). I'm using the latest Javascript API but the events that can be handled doesn't seem to include detection of social widget controls. The documentation for the Like Plugin doesn't show any events. However I know its definitely possible because if I have two Like buttons on a page they both instantly update each other if I like or unlike whatever it is.

    I have the following piece of Javascript code on my web-page var central_image = document.createElement("img") central_image.setAttribute("src", imgs[curr_image_no - 1]); central_image.setAttribute("name", "jpeg"); document.getElementById("photo").appendChild(central_image); central_image.onload = getDimensions(); //function that alerts image dimensions Now, when the central_image is loaded for the 1st time in Firefox, its height always equals to 0. In IE its dimensions are 28 x 30 pixels. When I reload image, its dimensions are OK in both browsers. I guess the problem is that function getDimensions() starts before image was loaded completely. How to change that?

    I have a page that has a table with each row corresponding to an audio file. The last cell in each row embeds a simple flash audio player. The problem is that the flash file for the player is being downloaded for each row separately and as soon as rows go beyond 40-50 it crashes the browser. I tried using different players (1pixelout, flash-mp3-player) and the problem is still there, so its not a player specific issue. Is there any way to cache the player so that it is only downloaded once?

    I’m looking to create a web page with 6 coupons on it, two per line in a web space of 1275 X 1650. Each coupon space will consist of a different image. The problem is I will be creating 20 such web pages that will have these coupons on them. Now some of the same images will appear in different locations/positions on the various web pages. Is there a way to update the same image that appear in different locations/positions at the same time? And what language is used to complete this? I’ve tried CSS but it don’t think it’s possible. So should I be using JavaScript.

    Hi, I have a form that posts data to an aspMail file for delivery (works fine in current format), but would like to have the form data sent without having to re-direct to another page. Looks like Ajax is the way to proceed but I'm having a problem getting the setup to work. Here's how I've changed the html: Added: $('#myForm').submit(function() { $.ajax({ data: $(this).serialize(), type: $(this).attr('post'), url: $(this).attr('aspSend.asp'), success: function(response) { $('#created').html(response) } }); }); Changed the form tag from: <form name="myForm" action"aspSend.asp"> to: <form name="myForm"> but now the emails don't arrive!!   • What can cause a persistent "Reload the page to get source for" error in firebug?

    I'm trying to debug the javascript of a specific page, and I keep seeing Reload the page to get source for page.htm in Firebug. On Chrome, I'm mostly able to debug the js, but sometimes I also get a blank page. What can cause such issues? I believe I always see a blank page in Chrome if I reload while the JS console is open. If I open a new Chrome tab, load the page, and then open the JS console, everything is ok. The page I'm debugging is on a localhost server (Play Framework server), although I have seen this on other pages occasionally. This only happens with inline javascript ... js that is linked from the page is displayed fine.

    I'm hosting a rack application with passenger and apache. The application is setup to cache the content of each request to the public directory after each request. This allows apache to serve the content directly as a static page for future requests. I would like to tell Apache, presumably through some rewrite rules that any requests with query parameters should not be cached, but instead passed down to the rack application. With a mongrel setup I would just redirect it to the balancer if it meets my rewrite conditions. How do you do the same with passenger?

I tried moving my controls to a Tab Control but my update timers are not triggering. I made the UpdateTimer.SynchronizingObject = TheMainForm; Because if I tried to make it the Tab Page I got an error. I am very new to threaded projects. What am I doing wrong.   • Page not rewriting in ExpressionEngine

    I recently just launched an ExpressionEngine site and one of the last steps I take is removing index.php from the URL. In the case of this site, the default template group is called "site". Long story short, after removing index.php from the URL, all pages continue to work great with the exception of my contact page, which also lives in the "site" template group. Going to http://example.com/contact/ gives me a 404 while going to http://example.com/site/contact produces the desired result. In past ExpressionEngine site setups (including my own) this has never happened, so does anyone have thoughts on why this might not be working?

    I am creating a custom Attribute (extending System.Attribute). I know I can put it on another class easily enough by doing the following. [MattsAttribute] public class SomeClassWhichIsACodeBehind { However, I need to be able to test this attribute easily, and putting it in the code-behind would cause a lot of extra effort to get it deployed to an environment which would respond to the behavior of attribute. What I would like to do: declaratively apply this attribute to the .aspx page itself (which is really just another class that inherits from the code-behind). Is this possible? If so, what is the proper syntax for doing this?
