• jQuery - Display the value of a textbox and input the value to another

  Basically I want to get the value of a textbox which is to select a date and output the value that is selected to another textbox. These textboxes are on the same page (different steps of the same page) and the document is loaded when the page is ready on click of the next step, I've tried using: $('#TextBox1').val($('#TextBox2').val()); But this doesn't seem to be working. What is it I am doing wrong?

• How to call a custom php file on magento product page

  if getChildHtml('product_type_data') ? maps directly to catalog/product/view/type/simple.phtml by default, how do I map to my own file? If I wanted to create a file that would produce a small image to place on the product page, right under "availability" how would I tell magento to map to where I have put the file? From what I understand getChildHtml('product_type_data') ? defaults to the file path: catalog/product/view/type/simple.phtml so how can I customize the magento defaults and tell it to map to my custom files i've created? I hope I have explained this well enough, if not, please let me know and I will try to explain more. Any help or guidance would be awesome. Thanks.

For example if I wanted to know all possible moves, I'd input: possibilites("F4") and I'd get ['D3', 'D5', 'E2', 'E6', 'G2', 'G6', 'H3', 'H5'] as a result, ok I did that, next, I had to write a function in which you input two fields and if those fields are legal, you'd get True and if they're not you'd get False(I had to use the previous function). For example: legal("F4","D3") >>>True code: def legal(field1,field2): c=possibilities(field1) if field1 and field2 in a: return True return False I'm having a problem with the following function which I have to write: I have to put in path of the knight and my function has to tell me if it's legal path, I'm obliged to use the previous function. for example: >>> legal_way(["F3", "E1", "G2", "H4", "F5"]) True >>> legal_way(["F3", "E1", "G3", "H5"]) False >>> legal_way(["B4"]) True I know I have to loop through the list and put first and second item on it in legal(field1,field2) and if it's false, everything is false, but if it's true I have to continue to the end, and this has to work also if I have only one field. • How to automatically display relationships in logical diagram?

  Consider a Logical Model where Entity A and Entity B are connected via Relationship Z. If I create a Logical Diagram (note: not another logical MODEL), I am able to drag Entity A and Entity B onto the diagram. Since the Logical Model already "knows" that Entity A and Entity B have a relationship, I would like to be able to easily add it to my logical diagram. I am already aware of the "Show Symbols" option whereby I can select the specific relationship that I want and have it appear. That is not a solution for me. The problem is that I have a LARGE logical model consisting of HUNDREDS of Entities and their various relationships. I then need to create application-specific diagrams consisting of a subset of those entities. I can easily identify and drag the 50+ entities onto a new diagram. But identifying and selecting all the associations is an exercise in frustration. Is there an option or some sort of feature that I'm missing - or any other trick - that would allow me to add only the relationships between selected entities or all entities on a diagram?

  I'm a python newbie so I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before. I am building out an application in GAE and need to generate a report that contains the values for a user-defined subset of fields. For example, in my db model, CrashReport, I have the following fields: entry_type entry_date instance_id build_id crash_text machine_info I present a user with the above list as a checkbox group from which they select. Whichever fields the user selects, I then create a report showing all the values in the datastore, but only for the fields that they selected. For example, if from the above list, the user selects the build_id and crash_text fields, the output might look like this: build_id crash_text 0.8.2 blown gasket 0.8.2 boom! 0.8.1 crack! ... So the question is, how exactly do I only access the values for the fields which the user has defined?

  Hi, I’m currently trying to develop a method to get a overview of all my different web templates I’ve created and (legally) downloaded over the years. I thought about a displaying them like Wordpress is previewing it’s templates view a small preview windows, displaying the concrete file with styles and everything. How to divide them into rows and columns and create AJAX modal window open on preview and pagination and so on I believe I can manage, but it is the concept itself about iterate over several folders then find all index.htm / index.html pages and displaying them. I’ve not worked very much with directories in PHP and the only references and code stumps I’ve found so far is just to list all the files in a certain directory like, what it contains. I would be really grateful if someone knew about a script, a function, snippet or just could get me a nudge in the right direction to create such a (probably simple) preview function.   I am trying to use the model ListModel as a generic list model. I would like to enter on the page @Html.DisplayForModel() However the MVC is not correctly finding the templated file "ListModel.cshtml". It must work differently for generic models. What should I name the templated file in order for it to correctly be located? public class ListModel<T> { public IEnumerable<T> Models {get;set;} public string NextPage {get;set;} } I would expect it to look for "Shared/DisplayTemplates/ListModel.ascx" but it doesn't. Does anyone know?

• Url rewriting : prevent to display xml

  Edit : I've got an aspx file (default.aspx) that loads a flash file (index.swf), but this swf needs a xml file (foo.xml) to load correctly. However, I would like to block any request aiming directly at the xml file. Is it possible, using a rewritting engine (isapi_rewrite for example) to detect if the xml file is being 'hotlinked' or being loaded by the 'index.swf'(inside default.aspx)? Any ideas? Thank you.

  The Problem I have a page with a form on. It has a hidden field called: generic_portrait I want the user to click a link "select portrait" This will open a Dialog/Popup using jQuery, based on a dropdown completed earlier in the form. If the value of the dropdown called "gender" is "male" then show male options, if "gender" is set to "female" show female options. Each portrait has a radio button, each with a name assigned "male1", "male2" etc Depending on the radio button selected in the popup, I want the hidden field to be set to match this. The Questions What is the best way to show a dialog/popup using jQuery, different depending on a dropdown box on the page. Use Javascript to see what is selected, then show a corresponding Div? I can do the check to see what the dropdown is set to using jQuery, but how can I then shown a specific popup based on that? Once i've popped it up, how do I take the value assigned to the selected radio box, and set the hidden field called "generic_portrait" to this value. Why i'm asking Normally I would figure this out myself, as i'm sure it's not that difficult, but I don't use Javascript and/or PHP very often, and this is due for a client urgently. So I would really, really appreciate some help on this one. Thanks for all replies in advance.

In IE nothing happens. I check in firebug lite and it is in HTML section, inside BODY tag but i see nothing. Whats wrong?

  I am having application.html where I used jquery.validate.js and it works fine and submit my data to process.php. But I want if there is an error generated by jquery.validate.js then I know the how many errors generated by validate.js in application.php. I am going to implement if there are number of errors generated then uploading function will be disable. If there is no error generated then uploading function will work.
