  Before you chastise me for asking this, I have an Adobe Air app that has a lot of investment in it, and if there is a way to utilize the existing code-base in any way, it is worth considering. I have heard news reports in passing about Adobe creating some kind of tool to allow flash or air apps to be ported to native objective-c code, but the information found in google is mostly commentary on the one-time Apple blockade. My question(s) is/are this: Is it even possible, at any level, to use an existing Air app to create a Mac Store app? If possible, what are the resources I can use to accomplish this?

  Hello i installed the news ubuntu the other day and istalled all the drivers and then restart the laptop. then i get the login screen with no problem then when i login the black screen in about 10 mins a window popup saying that the application compiz has closed unexpectedly i relunch the app. and then it happens again. i have uninstalled nvidia driver then restarted and the OS works fine.. tryed older driver and still the same problem. anyone out there can help would be great.

• What factors help in getting a site indexed by Google fast?

  What should I do to get a site indexed on Google, fast? Taking example of Super User I just did a quick Google for a question that was 20 minutes old, to look for an answer, and it was already on Google Search - how is this possible? I glanced over this article which seems to suggest that SU has added RSS feeds (which SU has, but when I opened the feed the article says last posted 6 minutes ago, but when Googled it is 11 hours old) - which leads me to think (Based on that article, I don't know much about search indexing but I am reading at the moment) that most of this indexing is done thanks to the sitemap. is there anything else I am unaware of that helps SU questions get on Google so fast?

  I'm looking into scripting languages to embed in my game. I've always assumed Lua was the best choice, but I've read some recent news about embedding V8 as was considering using it instead. My question is two fold: Does anyone with experience embedding v8 (or another javascript engine) recommend it? How does it compare with embedding Lua? I like that v8 has a c++ embedding API. However Lua API has had lots of time to be refined (newer isn't always better and all that). Note: At this point I'm not too concerned with which is better language or which library has better performance. I'm only asking about ease of embedding.

  As a gamer, one thing I have learned I need to be savvy about is knowing whether SomeBigGame is actually unstable or otherwise problematic as a piece of software (riddled with invasive DRM products, only runs well on a particular video driver version, crashes on non-English-language systems, etc.). I know that game news media can sometimes be relied upon to report on some problems, but I doubt they bother to cover smaller or indie titles. An example: I've started playing Transformice on Kongregate, and I'm considering installing the downloadable client (it is an online multiplayer game). The part of me that cares about data privacy and maintaining a clean-and-healthy PC wants to know whether there is a place I can check to find out more about a title-as-software than "it is not a literal virus." Put another way: where would you not want to see your game receive lots of attention?

KLISS is developed by Propylon in partnership with the executive and legislative branches of the Kansas Government involving a complete overhaul of the Legislature's IT systems.   Hello I'm trying to make some kind of tool for an school website, what I need to do is to make students take a test and according to what are the results (27 posibilities) they get a set of activities (questions) according to their level which they can solve in around 3 months logging periodically to the website, plus I need teachers to log and look at the reports. Now, I'm a graphic designer myself so my skills are mostly html5 and css3 and I know some php (edit existing ones only) and javascript (jquery) as well, most people tell me that I need a CMS to do the tool but all I find is CMS for display like blogs or news websites which I think aren't useful for me because the website is already made in html and css3 only (I need to add an extra page for the tool) I understand I need to create users and give them special rights according to what type of user they are and I also understand that I need a database where I can store all my questions. What is the best way to do this? what do you suggest me? Thanks

  I saw that many of HP envy users (and some other hardwares) are having problems while using Ubuntu (some other distributions too). PROBLEM My main issue is make my HDMI or Mini-display-port work on Linux (Ubuntu). I`m able to make it work smoothly on windows only :( TIP Some guy create a blog, that is very nice and I could found some helps over there. But is kind of abandoned. General Purpose The idea of this post is to put together all users and share though under this issue. Thanks in advance for any reply/comment.
