• Selecting element by data attribute

  Is there an easy and straight-forward method to select elements based on their data attribute? For example, select all anchors that has data attribute named customerID which has value of 22. I am kind of hesitant to use rel or other attributes to store such information, but I find it much harder to select an element based on what data is stored in it. Thanks!

I'm using a Master Page and both the MasterPage and the page that I'm using the CalendarExtender in have the assembly reference.

  Hello, friends Who knows, why in vb.net WinForm projects the designer by default use the Friend WithEvents attributes and in C# - private ones. By ex, in a form.designer. .cs private Label Label1; .vb Friend WithEvents Label1 as Label; For WithEvents is more or less clear(for using Handles, apparently). But why Friend in VB and private in C#... Thanks.

• The "Update" button in ArcFM Attribute Editor is disabled.

  I am not been able to update any of the attributes in one of my feature classes using the Arc FM Attribute editor, but I am able to update it thru the ESRI Attribute editor. Please lemme know if somebody knows the reason. I am using Arc SDE 9.3.1 with ArcFM 9.3 and ArcMap 9.3 Note:I am in selection Tab and not in Target tab. • Is there a pure-managed DirectX wrapper?

  I'm currently in need of a purely managed code DirectX wrapper for .NET. While SlimDX is great, its use of unmanaged code makes it impossible to perform proper dead code analysis on, for the purpose of merging it into your assemblies. With a pure managed wrapper, I'd be able to include just the pieces I use in my assembly, allowing very, very small binaries (my goal is to be able to write 64k demos entirely using .NET). Does such a thing exist, or am I going to be getting intimate with P/Invoke?

• CSS formatter NOT based on CSS Tidy?

  I can't find a css formatter (web based or Windows app) which formats the css where it puts the open brace on its own line aligned with its close brace, plus indents the attributes. The web based css formatters out here seem to be based on CSSTidy which doesn't do what I want. I don't like this CSSTidy format: .example { font-size: 3em; } I want: .example { font-size: 3em; }

• Visual Studio 2005 - Debugger stopped working.

  More fun and pain with Visual Studio. Visual Studio 2005. About two months ago, I started an assignment. In my role, I cannot install or configure development software. Trust me this has given me plenty of heartburn. No IIS is involved here, just File Sharing. That being said, when I first started I had a problem with my debugger not working. The debugger just stopped. I was able to get it working. Now the problem has returned and I am pulling every last hair on my head. Almost none of my symbols loads. It can't find the PDB files. In Debugger options, I checked the Symbol section. My symbol file location entry is completely blank. ? I don't know why. I did not touch this prior to the problem occurring. I have cleared the Temporary ASP.NET folders. I should note, I created a new project. Recreated my files manually by importing them. The debugger worked 5 times and died. I'm at a loss of what to do next? The obvious has been checked: The project is set to Debug Configuration Manager Configuration Debug Platform .NET Build : checked. Web.Config: I have attempted to manually attach to the Webdev process from the Debug window and that doesn't work. I have googled this and this problem seems to occur quite a bit.

• error working with wsdl files in visual studio 2008

  Hi. I got a wsdl file in email. At first I didn't know how to use it. I've simply saved the file to my disk. Opened visual studio...added a service reference...provided path to file, and service was discovered. I opened the object browser to see the types and methods that got imported. I figure anything that ends with the name 'Client' is a good place to start using the web service. I've tried using a simple method to get data but it has run into and expception. Need help in resolving it.   is there possibility to map something like: private Map<Website, Map<String, String>> parameterMaps = new HashMap<Website, Map<String, String>>(); Where 'Website' is my class having some strings attributes, and inner map should be some website specific url parts. Is Lucene.NET capable of ~25,000 products (or documents), each with maybe ten attributes used for filtering? I am looking to do a "narrow/drill down" or "faceted search". • Lazy Loading with Ninject

  I'm evaluating ninject2 but can't seem to figure out how to do lazy loading other than through the kernel. From what I can see that kind of defeats the purpose of using the [Inject] attributes. Is it possible to use the InjectAttribute but get lazy loading? I'd hate to force complete construction of an object graph every time I instantiated an object.

  Hello I have a project that uses the Enterprise Library 4.1. When I target .net 4 and compile, I get an error that says I need to add a reference to System.ServiceModel version 3. My reference is to System.ServiceModel version 4. How can I tell Visual Studio 2010 to reference a .net3 assembly from a .net3 project? Or, does somebody have a workaround for this issue? I am using the RTM version of VS2010 Thanks

  I've been trying to access an image resource named "IndexPointer.jpg" in an embedded RESX file called "Images.resx". GetManifestResourceNames() returns a single value - SCtor.Images.resources". Assembly::GetExecutingAssembly()-GetManifestResourceStream("SCtor.Images.resources.IndexPointer.jpg") only returns a nullptr. Obviously, I've got the manifest name wrong. What would be the correct one ?

  Hi I'm developing on 32bit windows and am using appassembler to create a java service wrapper assembly, and it works ok. But I need to also create a 64bit assembly for deployment to a dev server. In the following config I have substituted the 32bit platform with the 64bit, see the <includes> section. But it no longer places the wrapper jar and dll in the lib folder. If I omit the includes completely, I get linux, solaris, Mac OSX and Win32 libraries, but no win64.   I've found that in order to use PRISM's classes in XAML you need to import namespace in that way: xmlns:cal="http://www.codeplex.com/CompositeWPF" this way is new to me, so I wanted to know, how hyperlink could be alias of usual notation of namespace import? so the intellisence knows in which assembly it should search this component? Thanks!

• Problem Upgrading NHibernate SQLite Application to .Net 4.0

  I have a WPF Application using Fluent NHibernate 1.0 RTM and System.Data.SQLite 1.0.65 that works fine in .Net 3.5. When I try to upgrade it to .Net 4.0 everything compiles but I get a runtime error where the innermost exception is this: `The IDbCommand and IDbConnection implementation in the assembly System.Data.SQLite could not be found.` The only change made to the project was switching the Target Framework to 4.0.
