  Hi there, I want to run a the following example in cucumber: Scenario: Anonymous user can log in and be remembered Given I am logged in with reminder When I navigate away And I go to the list of cornetas Then I should be logged in But I don't know how to write the "And I navigate away" step. I already tried to "visit stackoverflow.com" or "visit http://stackoverflow.com", but with no success. Any suggestions? I guess I could also destroy the webrat session, but I don't know how to do it, neither if it would work.

• Behaviour of System.Timer when Interval property changed

  I have a System.Timer setup to trigger an event every day at 2AM. If the process the timer starts fails then I want the timer to be reset to run every 15 minutes until the process completes succesfully. // this is how the timer is set up. // this is working correctly. double startTime = milliseconds_of_hour_to_start. Timer = new System.Timers.Timer( startTime); Here is the code to reset the timer on success or failure of the event handler. NOTE the timer is not being stopped, just the Interval property is being reset. if (ProcessSuccess) { Timer.Interval = TimeSpan.FromHours(24).TotalMilliseconds; } else { Timer.Interval = TimeSpan.FromMinutes(15).TotalMilliseconds; } My question is this, if the process fails say 4 times, then succeeds will the Timer now be running at around 3AM? i.e. after failing will the original start time of 2AM be advanced by 15 minutes?

  I am creating a JavaScript class. Some of the methods contain AJAX calls using JQuery. The problem I am comming accross is that I cannot use the this keyword within the AJAX callbacks due to a change in scope. I have come up with a hackey solution, but I am wondering what is the best practice way around this? • How to check if file exists in Apache

  I've set this up successfully in IIS in the past, but i'm not sure how to do it in Apache. I want to check to see if a file exists, whether it be: /path/to/file.php /path/to/file.cfm /path/to/file.html /path/to/ If the file does not exist, I want to redirect to /404/, where I have a file that does all 404 related handling. Lastly, when doing this in IIS, it gave me a CGI.QUERY_STRING of something like: 404;http://example.com/prettyurl Can apache do the same? This is what i've tried to so far, to no success.   Hi all, I have been working on a shopping cart that the user can add/remove order items as they please and am returning an updated sub-total via a webservice using jQuery $.ajax Here is how I am calling the webservice and setting the sub-total with the response. //perform the ajax call $.ajax({ url: p, data: '{' + s + '}', success: function(sTotal) { //order was updated: set span to new sub-total $("#cartRow" + orderID).find(".subTotal").text(sTotal); }, failure: function() { //if the orer was not saved //console.log('Error: Order not deleted'); } }); The response I am getting seems perfectly fine: {"d":"128.00"} When I display the total on the page it displays as 128 rather than 128.00 I am fully sure it is something very simple and silly but I am so deep into it now I need someone with a fresh brain to help me out!! • Error 400 in urllib2 when using cookies

  I've had some success using a different method to load cookies, but now I'm wanting to use the cookielib.MozillaCookieJar method to open a cookies.txt file. Here's the snippet of code that does this. cookieJar=MozillaCookieJar() cookieJar.load(argv[2]) After creating an HTTPCookieProcessor opener, and installing it, whenever I use urlopen, I get an HTTP 400 error. However, if I don't use a CookieJar, the urlopen method succeeds (though the response doesn't contain the data I need). I'm not sure whether the cookies.txt file is malformed, or whether there's something else going on.

• 3 DIV's - Center Middle and Others taking up rest of room

  I need to have 3 DIV's - you can see 3 colors in the above image. The middle DIV needs always be 960px and alls needs to be centered (you can see the 2 grey lines above). The other 2 DIV's need to take up all the other available space. If I zoom in and out of the page the red and yellow DIV's need to expand with the page while the middle green one remains centered. I've tried DIV solutions and Table solutions and I can't get it to fit. • Jquery JSON .each() doesnt work in Google Chrome

  I have a really simple chat application on a site which works pretty good. This is driving me nuts, have tried everything I've come across online for days but I can't seem to get it right. Please someone help! I can provide testserver if someone wants to firebug it themselves ;)

• VB.NET Use WebRequest to check if URI is valid

  Looking for the best way to determine if a URI exists in VB.NET without downloading the actual content. System.IO.FileExists/My.Computer.FileSystem.FileExists can be used locally to determine if a file exists, is there an equivalent for the Web? Currently I am using a HttpWebRequest to check URI existance using the ResponseStream. This populates the stream if the target does exist and throws an exception if it doesn't. The function is being expanded to also check for PDF files (typically 5MB +), images, etc and it will be a waste of time/bandwidth to actually populate the content into a stream. In the case of "Success" (the target does exist) I do not wish to download the file or page, simply to end up with a Boolean which indicates the whether something exists at the end of this URI.

• Submit form if ajax validator returns true using jquery

  I am not sure where I'm going wrong. The idea is that before the form is submitted, one of the input fields is sent to a server-side validator via ajax. If the response is 1, the input is valid and the form should be submitted. If the response is 0, the form should not be submitted. The issue is that I can't figure out how to set a variable within the ajax request function that will prevent the form from being submitted.   So I had this structure in xml and I was able to parse it successfully. Now what I have done is that I converted this xml into a JSON using www.xmltojson.org but I am not able to parse it .   I have successfully setup a CCNet web dashboard and everything is working fine has expected. And i have triggered a force build from CCNET and it ran successfully with out causing any error. but, the problem what i am facing is that, whenever i'm triggering the build from CCNET dashboard (Force) it's keeps on to build continuously again and again. • Unable to import example projects from book (newbie question)

  I am trying to import projects from a book "Beginning Android 2" but when I choose the root directory the "Finish" button is still grayed out. I've tried importing the project from scratch with no success, and I've also tried to create a template project with the same name and everything and then importing into that (Import existing projects into workspace) but it always says "No projects are found to import". The contents of the folder are: Res folder, src folder with .java file, the manifest, build, and default.properties files. I am new to android dev (obviously) so I appreciate the help.

• Need generated UML diagrams for C++ plugin modules

  I need various UML diagrams (sequence/collaboration, class, package, and system component) from some C++ files. However, these files are plugins in a larger programming framework. I have tried generating UML from Rational Rose 7 (2002 version), but I am not very experienced and I am unsure if RR simply cannot produce the diagram, I am doing something wrong, or the diagrams are not rendering correctly because the source files are plugins instead of standalone programs. I have also tried Star Modeler with little success and there seem to be no tutorials on how to generate these models. Is there a simple, bulletproof way to get UML diagrams for C++ files?

  Hi guys, I'm experimenting with C#, and right now I'm trying to get a web page that needs cookies. Since I had no success doing it, I wrote this little PHP script ( directly from php.net): <?php foreach (getallheaders() as $name => $value) { echo "$name: $value\n"; } ?> but, when i run: this.WBro.Navigate("http://localhost/cookie.php", null,null,"Cookie: foo=bar"); the foo cookie isn't there, and all I got is a page displaying the "usual" headers ( except the cookie one).   I have a composite server control that does quiet a number of things; one of which is to display a ModalPopup OnClick of a dynamically generated HtmlAnchor control. I need to create this ModalPopupExtender control dynamically in my server control and trigger it from within. I have been able to create it and trigger it from a button created at design time but not at runtime. This is as a result of the ID assign to the link is always not found by the ModalPopupExtender control. I have tried assigning a static ID but no success. Can anyone help?
