  • Custom xsl rendering for lookup field in list view (SharePoint 2010)

    I'm trying to change rendering of a list column on list view page. After a few tutorials and some hair pulling I managed to create an xslt for a calculated and currency field (from fldtypes_XXXXXX.xsl): <xsl:template match ="FieldRef[@Name='MarkCalc']" mode="Text_body"> <xsl:param name="thisNode" select="."/> <xsl:value-of select="$thisNode/@*[name()=current()/@Name]" disable-output-escaping ="yes"/> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="FieldRef[@Name='CurrencyTest']" mode="Number_body"> <xsl:param name="thisNode" select="."/> <b><xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select="$thisNode/@*[name()=current()/@Name]" /></b> </xsl:template> Then I tried to do the same for a lookup field, but it just won't work.     Hi, I've got two tables. Invoice with columns CustomerID, InvoiceDate, Value, InvoiceTypeID (CustomerID and InvoiceDate make up a composite key) and InvoiceType with InvoiceTypeID and InvoiceTypeName columns. I know I can create my objects like: public class Invoice { public virtual int CustomerID { get; set; } public virtual DateTime InvoiceDate { get; set; } public virtual decimal Value { get; set; } public virtual InvoiceType InvoiceType { get; set; } } public class InvoiceType { public virtual InvoiceTypeID { get; set; } public virtual InvoiceTypeName { get; set; } } So the generated sql would look something like: SELECT CustomerID, InvoiceDate, Value, InvoiceTypeID FROM Invoice WHERE CustomerID = x AND InvoiceDate = y SELECT InvoiceTypeID, InvoiceTypeName FROM InvoiceType WHERE InvoiceTypeID = z But rather that having two select queries executed to retrieve the data I would rather have one. I would also like to avoid using child object for simple lookup lists. So my object would look something like: public class Invoice { public virtual int CustomerID { get; set; } public virtual DateTime InvoiceDate { get; set; } public virtual decimal Value { get; set; } public virtual InvoiceTypeID { get; set; } public virtual InvoiceTypeName { get; set; } } And my sql would look something like: SELECT CustomerID, InvoiceDate, Value, InvoiceTypeID FROM Invoice INNER JOIN InvoiceType ON Invoice.InvoiceTypeID = InvoiceType.InvoiceTypeID WHERE CustomerID = x AND InvoiceDate = y My question is how do I create the mapping for this? I've tried using join but this tried to join using CustomerID and InvoiceDate, am I missing something obvious? Thanks

    Hi, I have a Dictionary< which I want to sort based on value so I've done this by putting the dictionary into a List< then using the .Sort method. I've then added this back into a Dictionary<. Is it possible to lookup the new index/order by using the Dictionary key??     Hi, I am trying to substitute variable value inside array so as to update array values based on command line inputs. e.g. I am receiving IP address as command line argument for my TCL script and trying to update commands with recvd IP value. My array is: array set myArr { 1 myCmd1("192.268.2.1","abc.txt") 2 myCmd2("192.268.2.1","xyz.txt") 3 myCmd3("192.268.2.1","klm.txt") } Here, "192.268.2.1" will actually be supplied as command line argument. I tried doing array set myArr { 1 myCmd1($myIP,"abc.txt") 2 myCmd2($myIP,"xyz.txt") 3 myCmd3($myIP,"klm.txt") } and other combinations like ${myIP}, {[set $myIP]} but none is working.     Hello, I am trying to read command lien argument but it seems there is some kind of bug in .NET. The parameter which I pass to my console application /i "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" /o "result" CommandLine variable return three arguments, but I pass four and values of these arguments messed up. /i = true "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" = true /o = "result" As you see only the last argument is parsed corectlly.     I am wanting to query the members of a given playlist. I have the correct playlist id, and want to use a managedQuery() to look at the playlist members in question. What I have is this: private String [] columns = { MediaStore.Audio.Playlists.Members.PLAYLIST_ID, MediaStore.Audio.Playlists.Members.TITLE, }; Uri membersUri = MediaStore.Audio.Playlists.Members.getContentUri(volume, playlistId); Cursor tCursor = managedQuery(membersUri, columns, null, null, null); I don't know what the volume argument needs to be. I've tried this: MediaStore.Audio.Playlists.EXTERNAL_CONTENT_URI.toString() for the "volume" argument. That gives me back a valid content URI that looks like: content://media/external/audio/playlists/2/members However, my cursor comes back null. I probably am way off base -- I know what I want to do is very simple.

In another example, I've seen another form: http = new Http http(/* argument here */) Is this valid Scala? I guess it must be, because the author is a Scala expert. But it makes no sense to me. Actions are usually performed by invoking methods on objects, whether explicitly as object.doSomething() or implicitly as object = something (using the apply() method underneath the syntactic sugar). All I can think of is that a constructor is being used to do something in addition to constructing an object. In other words, it is having side effects, such as in this case going off and doing something on the web.

    My understanding is that template argument deduction is only for function templates, but function templates does not allow partial specialization. Is there a way to achieve both? I basically want to achieve a function-like object (can be a functor) with the signature template<class InputIterator1, class InputIterator2, class OutputIterator, int distribution> void GetQuantity(InputIterator1 frist1, InputIterator1 last1, InputIterator2 first2, OutputIterator result, double supply, double limit); Depending on the value of distribution, I want to have a couple of specializations of this template. And when I call this function,I basically do not want to specify all the type parameters, because they are many of them (and thus I need argument deduction)!

So how do I convert my array of UserInteractionProperties into an InArgument?

    I am creating a FileOutputStream object. It takes a file or String as an argument in its constructor. My question is, can I give it a relative URL as an argument for the location of a file, it doesn't seem to work, but I am trying to work out if this is possible at all (if not I will stop trying). If it is not possible, how can I (from a servlet) get the absolute path (on the filesystem, not the logical URL) to the current location in such a way that I can pass that to the constructor. Part of my problem is that my dev box is Windows but I will publish this to a Unix box, so the paths cannot be the same i.e. on Windows C:/.... and on unix /usr/...

I want to pass the current user's ID as an argument to the view that selects the options for the CCK NodeReference field. Basically when the user creates a new item, I only want them to be able to reference a node which they created (not someone else's node).     I would like to be able to start a mongrel or webrick server by passing an extra command line argument that I can read somewhere inside my rails application. An example would be: ruby script/server -p3000 --target=FOO Here, --target is a custom switch who's value I would like to intercept in my rails application. However, this yields the error: server: invalid option: --target=FOO I found mongrel documentation which mentions a -C (--config=PATH) argument specifying a full path to a yml configuration file, but specifying that switch gives the same error as above. I presume this option is deprecated. Is there another way to accomplish this?

    Hi all, This is one of my first try with Map Reduce on AWS in its Management Console. Hi have uploaded on AWS S3 my runnable jar developed on Hadoop 0.18, and it works on my local machine. As described on documentation, I have passed the S3 paths for input and output as argument of the jar: all right, but the problem is the third argument that is another path (as string) to a file that I need to load while the job is in execution. That file resides on S3 bucket too, but it seems that my jar doesn't recognize the path and I got a FileNotFound Exception while it tries to load it. That is strange because this is a path exactly like the other two... Anyone have any idea? Thank you Luca

    Hi, I am trying to display an HTML page with embedded JavaScript code inside a System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser control. The JavaScript code is expected to interact with the embedding environment through the window.external object. Before invoking a method on window.external, JavaScript is supposed to check for the existance of the method. If it is not there, the code should invoke a generic fallback method. // basic idea if (typeof(window.external.MyMethod) != 'undefined') { window.external.MyMethod(args); } else { window.external.Generic("MyMethod", args); } However, checking for a no-argument method with typeof seems to invoke the method already. That is, if MyMethod accepts any positive number of arguments, the code above will work perfectly; but, if MyMethod is a no-argument method, then the expression typeof(window.external.MyMethod) will not check for its type but invoke it, too. Is there any work-around to this behavior? Can I somehow escape the expression window.external.MyMethod to prevent the method call from occurring?

    I'm writing a little homebrew ORM (academic interest). I'm trying to adhere to the TDD concept as a training exercise, and as part of that exercise I'm writing documentation for the API as I develop the class. Case in point - I'm working on a classic "getCollection" type mapper class. I want it to be able to retrieve collections of asset X (let's say blog posts) for a specific user, and also collections based on an arbitrary array of numeric values. So - you might have a method like any one of these $User = $UserMapper->load(1); $ArticleCollection = $ArticleMapper->getCollection(range(10,20)); $ArticleCollection = $ArticleMapper->getCollection($User); $ArticleCollection = $ArticleMapper->getCollection($User->getId()); So, in writing the documentation for the getCollection method - I want to declare the @param variable in the Docblock. Is it better to have a unique method for each argument type, or is it acceptable to have a method that delegates to the correct internal method/class based on argument type?

How does one do this? Of course, this works: import sys lines = """This is a string It has multiple lines there are three total""" for line in lines.splitlines(): print line But I need to be able to process an argument line-by-line. EDIT: This is probably more of a Windows command-line problem than a Python problem. EDIT 2: Thanks for all of the good suggestions. It doesn't look like it's possible. I can't use another shell because I'm actually trying to invoke the script from another program which seems to use the Windows command-line behind the scenes.

All the possible classes that I would give to this method extend from Model and have the method count().
