  • Java - How to change context root of a dynamic web project in eclipse

    I have developed a dynamic web project in eclipse. Now I can access it through my browser using the following url: http://localhost:8080/MyDynamicWebApp Now I want to change the access url to http://localhost:8080/app I changed the context root from the project properties | Web Project Settings | Context Root But it is not working. The web app still has the access url as earlier. I have re-deployed the application on tomcat, re-started the tomcat and have done everything that should be done but the access url is the same as earlier. I found that there were no server.xml file attached with the WARfile. The how the tomcat is determining that the context root of my web app is /MyDynamicWebApp and is allowing me to access the application through that url

  • ActionScript 3 Context Menu Per Sprite?

    is it not possible to have different context menus for different sprites on the stage? i've tried adding a custom context menu to a sprite but it's applied to the entire stage: mySprite.contextMenu = myMenu; then after reading the documentation where it states: You can attach a ContextMenu object to a specific button, movie clip, or text field object, or to an entire movie level. You use the menu property of the Button, MovieClip, or TextField class to do this. ok, so i though i had to write it like: mySprite.menu.contextMenu = myMenu; only to be greeted with a nice migration issue stating that menu is legacy code and to use contextMenu instead. ??? um, thanks for the headsup, documentation. this process would be entirely much more easier if i could extend the ContextMenu, but for some reason it's marked as "final" and can't be extended... i'm sure adobe's reasons for finalizing the context menu class are as good as their reasons for including misleading documentation. thoughts?

    Hi, like exposed here, one can set a MEDIA_URL in settings.py (for example i'm pointing to Amazon S3) and serve the files in the view via {{ MEDIA_URL }}. Since MEDIA_URL is not automatically in the context, one have to manually add it to the context, so, for example, the following works: #views.py from django.shortcuts import render_to_response from django.template import RequestContext def test(request): return render_to_response('test.html', {}, context_instance=RequestContext(request)) This means that in each view.py file i have to add from django.template import RequestContext and in each response i have to explicitly specify context_instance=RequestContext(request). Is there a way to automatically (DRY) add MEDIA_URL to the default context? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to connect to the a database resource I have in my context.xml file.In gwt 1.5 I had set up root.xml in tomcat-conf-gwt-localhost. I have no idea where to set up the resource in GWT 2.0. I tried placing my context.xml file in war-META-INF with no luck. Anyone have an idea where to place the context.xml file to be able to use a jndi database resource in GWT 2.0? Thanks in advanced

    I would like to use GLUT 3.7 Window Toolkit in a program written in php because i saw that there was a binding in php. I am interesting in having multiple windows ! In order to have a clean code, i was wondering to separate on the one hand the window toolkit and on the other hand the OpenGL implementation. I hope that i can program event with the glut callbacks in php then the application get the events and can interacts ! But i don't know how to draw in each window from php with opengl ? They say in the man page that each glut window has an opengl context. How to get each context ? Can i render offscreen with each context ?

  • How to create a dynamically built Context Menu clickEvent

    C#, winform I have a DataGridView and a context menu that opens when you right click a specific column. What shows up in the context menu is dependant on what's in the field clicked on - paths to multiple files (the paths are manipulated to create a full UNC path to the correct file). The only problem is that I can't get the click working. I did not drag and drop the context menu from the toolbar, I created it programmically. I figured that if I can get the path (let's call it ContextMenuChosen) to show up in MessageBox.Show(ContextMenuChosen); I could set the same to System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(ContextMenuChosen); The Mydgv_MouseUp event below actually works to the point where I can get it to fire off MessageBox.Show("foo!"); when something in the context menu is selected but that's where it ends. I left in a bunch of comments below showing what I've tried when it one of the paths are clicked. Some result in empty strings, others error (Object not set to an instance...). I searched code all day yesterday but couldn't find another way to hook up a dynamically built Context Menu clickEvent.     Hi, I am trying to use the Silverlight DataStateBehavior, it works fine in most cases where I click a button which sets say a 'Selected' Property in the view model to either false or true. The DataStateBehavior then tells the VisualStateManager to go to the relevant state. Like this: <Button...> <i:Interaction.Behaviors> <id:DataStateBehavior Binding="{Binding Selected}" Value="True" TrueState="SelectedVisualState" FalseState="DeselectedVisualState"/> </i:Interaction.Behaviors> </Button> The above works fine. What I am trying to do though is to get it to set the correct state when the application loads, if I were to set the 'Selected' property on the view model to true by default I wouldn't see any changes in the UI until I clicked the button to change the viewmodel property.   • Initial selected Item in an UITabBar without a UITabBarController

    Hello, How do I set the default selected UITabBarItem in an UITabBar that is within an UIView, not an UITabBarController? Just to clarify, the UIView does implement the protocol and the didSelectItem method works. At run-time, the tabbar works and the tabbaritems selected when the user touches them. My problem is setting the default selected item. If i use [myTabbar setSelectedItem] within the didSelectItem method it works. But outside of it, it doesn't (for example, in the viewDidLoad method of my UIView). Thanks!

    I've got a scenario involving two domains: WordPress site hosted on domain1.com domain2.co.uk, simply redirecting users to domain1 via mod_rewrite This rule applies irrespective of whether www. is specified or not. (It's eventually removed from the URL, I'm a no-WWW fan.) There's nothing on domain2.co.uk at all except for an .htaccess with some mod_rewrite rules. However, I want to be able to allow users to be redirected to the correct article URI even if they specify the "wrong" URL (i.e., a 301 redirect preserving the stuff after the first forward slash).     I am trying to implement validation using IDataErrorInfo or INotifyDataErrorInfo but either way I am struggling to make it work only once user start entering data or clicking save button. Since I am using MVVM, I am setting my view's datacontext to ViewModel and my ViewModel is implementing IDataErrorInfo / INotifyDataErrorInfo. I need to make sure validation happens but not when form loads up. Anyone has got any suggestion how I can implement? Thanks

  • Javascript menu that hovers over initial element

    I'm trying to build a javascript menu using prototype that when you mouseover an element, that element is hidden and a bigger element is shown in its place that closes onmouseout. This is what I have so far to give you an idea, but it doesn't work and is buggy.     In Windows XP, if you had a folder open in Explorer, you could access the right-click context menu of a folder by right-clicking the folder icon in the titlebar of the Explorer window. In Win7 this no longer works. Right-clicking the background of the open folder, or right-clicking the folder icon in the info pane at the bottom, does not give the same context menu; there are items that are not in these menus, but are in the menu when I right-click on a folder from outside it. Given that I have a folder open in Explorer, how can I, without navigating out of the folder, access the same right-click context menu that I would get if I navigated to the parent folder and right-clicked my target folder?

I just built a Java OpenGL application in Eclipse... and when i was trying to export the application using EclipseP5Exporter, it requires me to initialize the window size (not viewport size, a window may contain several viewports). I already googled some solutions in the net but I can't seem to get anything useful.. I've tried the method : "glutInitWindowSize(int width, int height);" but it seems to work only in C and python openGL. even if i append the glut before the method (glut.glutInitWindowSize()) eclipse doesn't recognize that method.. So if you guys have any suggestions please let me know... Thank you....

    Hello. This question may sounds trivial, but i am struggling with the issue, so, please help if u can. So, here it is : i am using a CheckboxTreeViewer for some good reasons. I've google-it for some class usages, and i am currently able to check/uncheck all the childrens of a selected node, and to preserve the selection after a live search with a custom implementation of the StyledCellLabelProvider provider. All good so far. However, so far i am unable to programatically select one or more elements of the tree viewer after i display the widget and call the setInput() method of the viewer. So, let's assume for instance that the tree will have 10 main nodes, and 5 leafs on node 6. My question is how do i set the checked state of the 3rd leaf? Thank u.

    I am loading an html page into a WebBrowser object in a VB.NET Windows Forms application. The user may make changes to textboxes, dropdowns, etc. on the HTML page displayed in the browser. I want the ability to save the current context to a .pdf file on the local HD. I am able to print using WebBrowser.Print(), which shows the current context, but what ways are possible to get this saved as a PDF file locally?
