    I understand what the two are used for, except I don't know what each does--i.e. what one is for vs. what the other is for. (I usually set them to the same account anyway.) If you're not sure what accounts I'm talking about, in the IIS manager thingy: Right-click on the app pool in question, go to Properties, and click the Identity tab to see the App Pool Identity. Right-click a Web site, go to Properties - Directory Security, and click Edit under Anonymous Access and authentication control to view the Account for anonymous access.

    I'm trying to link to a static library and I keep getting linker errors. I've found a few sites that post examples but I have not been able to see what I am doing wrong. First I create a project that will link to my lib add existing files find my .xcodeproj file select "Copy items into destination groups folder"... Select my host project as Add To Targets. Then I add a direct dependency to my host app expand targets double click MyHost.app click + under direct dependencies select my lib Then I set build flags double click MyHost application icon in Groups and Files. click the build tab then I set the OtherLinerFlag to -ObjC then I set Header Search Paths to my header file location for my static library. I pass the compile stage but any classes in my static lib cause linker error: literal-pointer@_OBJC@_cls_refs@SomeClass in MyHost.o thanks!

    I was reading jQuery's page for animate() http://api.jquery.com/animate/ Its examples don't mention about if using <a href="#" id="clickme">click me</a> ... $('#clickme').click(function() { $('#someDiv').animate({left: "+=60"}); }) we actually still have to return false like in the old days? $('#clickme').click(function() { $('#someDiv').animate({left: "+=60"}); return false; }) (but then, those examples didn't use a <a> for the "click me"... but used something else. Otherwise the page will jump back to the beginning of the page? Does jQuery have a more elegant or magical way of doing it?

    I've got a Menu, and I want to click on the menu, but not on the text if you guys know what i mean. The MenuItem has a border, or something like this, but when I click on it it won't redirect to the page I want unless I click on text. Is it possible to click on the whole "Button" and redirect or do what is need to do?     Hello. I have an ASP.net MVC2 application. In wich I'm using JQuery to alter all table rows so I can click anywhere in any row to trigger a click event on a link in the clicked row. The tables is created using MVC's built in partialview ajax.     I have spent the last few hours attempting to do this on my own, and using Google to find a solution but to no avail. So if you can help out i would super appreciate it! Basically I have a page which has 3 separate biographies in 'preview mode', which shows only the first paragraph of each bio. When you click on 'read more' for one bio it opens up the 'full mode'. What is happening at the moment, is if i click on one 'read more' link, it opens up the full mode on all 3 bio's.     I have a Flash website template (four pages) that I made using AS 3.0 and Flash CS4. It is for an assignment involving movie clips. Currently on the main time line there is only one frame, and three layers: actions/menu/content. The actionscript on the main time line is simply: content_mc.stop (); There is a movie clip on the stage called “Content” that contains the content for each of the pages. Inside of that there is a “Menu” movie clip that contains and controls all of the navigation buttons.   • Swap bits in c++ for a double

    Im trying to change from big endian to little endian on a double. One way to go is to use double val, tmp = 5.55; ((unsigned int *)&val)[0] = ntohl(((unsigned int *)&tmp)[1]); ((unsigned int *)&val)[1] = ntohl(((unsigned int *)&tmp)[0]); But then I get a warning: "dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules" and I dont want to turn this warning off. Another way to go is: #define ntohll(x) ( ( (uint64_t)(ntohl( (uint32_t)((x << 32) >> 32) )) << 32) | ntohl( ((uint32_t)(x >> 32)) ) ) val = (double)bswap_64(unsigned long long(tmp)); //or val = (double)ntohll(unsigned long long(tmp)); But then a lose the decimals. Anyone know a good way to swap the bits on a double without using a for loop?

    JDialog setResizable(false) is not working in Window Title Bar Menu Windows XP SP2 Java JRE 1.6.0_11-b03 Behavior varies. Sometimes, the Maximize and Minimize item on the window menu is disabled and sometimes enabled. Steps to reproduce enabled Maximize and Minimize button: Show the JDialog with setResizable(false) Open another window, say for example Notepad. Right-click on the window title bar of Notepad and click Maximize. Go to your JDialog and right click on the window title bar. Maximize window is enabled. Likewise, to disable the Maximize item for the JDialog, go to the maximized Notepad window and right click on title bar. Maximize item is disabled in the Notepad window. Go the your JDialog and right click on the title bar, notice that the Maximize item is also disabled. Note that my application can not use the defaultLookAndFeel method of java dialogs. The bug report related to this was for Solaris OS but that was already ages ago. bug report Is there any workaround? Thanks.

The problem I am having is that when clicking the part of the ListView item which is the HorizontalScrollView, the ListView item click event is not called. How can I get the click event of the HorizontalScrollView to call the ListView list item click event?

I've tried this with Intel v10 and MSVC 9.0 and they all seem to work as expected. I believe this should be nothing more than a bitwise compare. If I replace the if-statement with the following: if (static_cast<long long int>(lst[i]) != static_cast<long long int>(d)), and add "-Wno-long-long" I get no errors in any of the optimization modes when run. If I add std::cout << d << std::endl; before the "return 1", I get no errors in any of the optimization modes when run. Is this a bug in my code, or is there something wrong with GCC and the way it handles the double type?

  • Content pulled in via jQuery AJAX is not associating with previous functions

    I'm using the jquery .load() function to pull in data to populate a div with. The content I'm pulling in has CSS selectors that should match up with jQuery click functions I've written. However, when I load in the data, although the correct CSS selectors are there, when I click on areas that should invoke a response from jQuery, nothing happens. Do I need to do some sort of reload?
